What is going on with the wait?
Posted 3 weeks agoWelp, I do have a new computer... In parts. Partially assembled on my dining room table. (Who's got a dining room anymore)
Anyways, a friend that's smart with building these things popped over to help with the build. And we called it after an couple hours or so.
Hopefully, I'll be up and running again before the weekend.
In other news, I'm having a fairly mundane surgery to have some hernias repaired on the 25th. I wasn't worried about it for the most part, since it's routine and an outpatient procedure.
Then my mom has to chime in. " Remember your birthday twin? He died from a hernia repair, yeah. Oh and my friend that's was a body builder, they died too from a colonoscopy..."
Thanks Mom. Love you too.
Well, if you don't hear from me after the 25th, you know what happened. Hahaha 🤣🔫

Posted a month agoSo good news, in midst of the current heatwave in the Midwest. I got a new AC installed... For a lot of money, but it should last quite a while.
The same day, my PC bit the dust. The HDs are still working okay, and I've been getting a consensus of parts lists from a few friends so hopefully I can make something new with some Frankenstein parts from the old computer.
I hope to be back in business in a week or 2. I apologize to anyone that has a standing commission(s) with me, and I appreciate your patience in this awkward situation I find myself in.

However, no sooner than I planned on working on some commissions, my computer decided it needs 5 work arounds and a blue screen.

Posted a month agoWell not life exactly. A couple days ago the air conditioner broke. Yesterday, was the beginning of the next round of heat waves in the Midwest/ world. Causing me to relive the hell that was my college apartments. All of them no air-conditioning, no great ventilation systems. Getting it fully replaced on Saturday, so at least there's that.
Just feels like the ebbs and flows of the world are ready to drown us all.

Going on vacation
Posted 5 months agoIt's been a bit, but I'm going out for a few days. From Wednesday to Saturday, I will not be drawing for any projects, as I'll be out of town visiting friends.
