Been kinda absent for a bit...

So, I apologize for that. I took on a lot of commissions, and as such, means I talked to a lot of people, and worked up a crazy schedule to meet demands of real life. After that kind of thing, I get like...kind of anxious for a good while and tend to disappear. Every time I think, “Oh it won’t happen this time.” But it does. It doesn’t help being crammed in this tiny place, living with a family member until I can afford internet at my new apartment.

I need to learn the self discipline to get shit done no matter what, and that’s what I’m intending to do. So for my commissioners, I am doing one drawing per day, minus Thanksgiving, with 13 images left to go, the latter commissioners will be able to get their images within a few weeks.

I also need to save up a ton of money by the first week of next month, so I’m gonna start up my YCH’s again. And also am applying for jobs in my new area.

Sorry for my absence and subsequent seclusion from replies! I’m on the upside of this!

I've gotten enough together that I should be able to scrape by! So I don't think it would be wise to take any more for the moment! If you've already contacted me, you need not worry, I'll still take them. I managed about $100 from my family and the rest in commissions. So I'll be busy for a while!

Again thank you all to those who may have spread the word or helped in any way! With this I'll be able to go to school again, and that's wonderful news! And thankfully next semester there won't be any set-backs, so I won't have any issue there.

Well, I guess it's time to get to drawing!

So here’s the deal: I received a letter yesterday from my school stating I would be dropped from my classes if I didn’t pay $400 by the 30th of this month in order to attend my college. I’ve got everything before that paid, but my next paycheck isn’t until after the drop off date. And if I don’t go to school, I’ll have to start paying loans back immediately as well as my rent will increase.

SO! I’m going to try and make that money in commissions. I do have a donate button on my main page should you feel you’d rather help there, but I would prefer that I could pay you back somehow!

Anyway, I apologize for the lack of art recently and anything coming from me. I blame a bit of work and a bit of laziness, but mostly I haven't really been in the mood to draw for quite a while. I've made a few things for practice in between that time and now, so I'll post those, but here's to getting back in the groove!

Figure I should put something else to the top of my journals than the ad for my blog.

Essentially I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had a lot of time for art, simply for reasons of school. Hopefully that should end once I turn in my papers on Monday. I've been working a little on commissions, but overall, I just really haven't had time for art.

But part of our class was to go to Nara, so I did get a little bit of relaxing in. (If you count walking around all day relaxation!) It was fun though, and I was able to pet a lot of deer and see a giant Buddha.

it's Christmas, 'tisn't it?

Well I hope that everyone's is going wonderfully! In Japan, it's mostly a couples holiday, so there isn't a lot for me to do here. We're having tacos for dinner. That's right, we're celebrating a western holiday in Japan by eating Mexican. XD

It was a freakin’ long flight, but somehow we made it. The last week or so I’ve just been doing nothing but preparing and so I haven’t actually been able to do any art. And so that means again, commissions were delayed. For which I apologize. And speaking of art, I guess everything I post now will have to have a nice little censor bar over the ‘naughty bits.’ XD

I kinda disappeared for the past two weeks, so I apologize for that, especially to all of my commissions!

I just got my computer back from repairs, and as such I haven't had any access to the internet for that time, and I obviously haven't been able to complete any art in that amount of time.

But starting from here I plan on getting right back on track, and I've got a bit of catching up to do as well!

I haven’t mentioned anything on this yet, but seeing as it’s coming up in the next month or so I probably should. I will be going to Japan for 8 months for school to study the language and culture. I studied two years in high school and I’ve been teaching myself on and off for the last couple of years.

Anyways, I’ve decided I’m going to start up commissions to help pay for food and the like while I’m over there. As you may expect things are a bit more expensive over there than here, so that’s why I’m staring them up now. I don’t really know what my art is worth, so the prices I’ve got set-up may change after a few experimental times with it and upon the suggestions of others.

One thing to note, is that Japan has that censoring law, so it’s best to get your NSFW requests in if you want them!

About the requests...
I must apologize that they are not going to all be the same quality. Some people are going to get better work than others, and I apologize. I didn't quite expect to start trying out new styles halfway through. They were all intended to be the same thick line-art, no color even. But I'm using some of the requests that are left from here out to practice my new style which I find to be a bit better than my old. So for those that don't get quite as good of a picture, I'm sorry.

But hey, free art is free, right?
