This window's open all day, October 26th: 12am-10pm US central time.
Be sure to read the rules before applying to make sure you're informed on the details of this commission type!

4. Excessive details such as tattoos, spots, wings, or detailed outfits can add up to $15 to the price.
5. Not first-come, first-serve. I'll check out your character/idea first and let you know!^^
6. No multiple-slot claims. Sorry, I like to give more folks a chance at a slot.
7. Turn-around time is set for January-February. (at latest)
8. Payment is due within 24 hours of reserving a slot. No extensions, sorry! Failure to pay in time will result in forfeit of slot.

Sketch'em Window in 1 week!

The number of slots I take on will be determined by the turnout of applicants.
Public open-application windows like this aren't very often, so be sure to ready your info

Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the absolutely amazing turnout this year!
Plenty of returning familiar faces as well as a few new ones, all of whom I can't wait to draw! :D

It's the day before the big event and I just wanted to get the details for applying set up.
What: Big Opening for Big Commissions all day long!
Where: Applications accepted here on FA only, via notes!
When: Beginning at 12am Central (1am EST) on Thursday, March 23rd and closing at 10pm CST same day.
Why: The Big Opening Event helps me to pay off any due taxes, so every little bit helps!
How (much): Click to see a full list of my commission types & prices!
This is the only time of year I open for all commission types, including but not limited to:
2-character pieces (SFW or NSFW)
1-character pieces (SFW or NSFW)
Reference Sheets (Flat Color)
Icons (single or sets)
If you are interested in a Sketch'em, there is an official Sketch'em window happening all-day Friday (3/24)!
However, if due to scheduling issues you can't apply Friday, you're welcome to apply on Thursday during the event.
Any Sketch'ems taken on during Thursday's window will not reduce the slots available Friday.
Likewise, they will have the same turn-around-time as the Friday Sketch'em slots!
This is offered as a convenience for those who worry they won't make it Friday or will forget/be unable to apply.
This year's event will be the biggest yet, so be sure to apply and get in for a slot while they last! :D

You've helped me to gauge what interest there currently is for Sketch'em slots.
After reading through and finding a great idea gem from toomanyJs
I've decided to go with a separate Sketch'em window the day following the big opening event.
So for all interested in applying, the Sketch'em Window for March will be
Friday, March 24th, from 12am - 10pm US Central time.
Please note, I will aim to provide slots for this window even if the big opening event reaches its goal.
I want to be sure a handful of public slots will be given out,
since I haven't had the chance to take public slots since last April! ^^;

The official date for the Big Opening Event is Thursday, March 23rd!
We're about 2 weeks out from my annual Big Opening Event so I thought this would be the perfect time to give y'all the heads-up! For those who might not have seen the event before, this is the only time of the year when I take on larger commission pieces i.e. reference sheets, 2-character w/ background, single character w/ background, and icons! I also open for Sketch'em slots, though larger commissions will take priority for slot claim with Sketch'ems being more of a filler in order to meet the end-goal amount.
I don't have any specific numbers for how many of each commission type I will take. This will be decided on the day of the event after looking through the applicants and working out the numbers. What I can say is that my usual goal is around a few thousand USD accumulative. This amount always goes towards my taxes due, which is why this is a once-a-year event. Payment is accepted through PayPal only and is due within 48 hours of me confirming your slot.
All pieces taken on during the Big Opening Event are worked on throughout the year in a focused work order, meaning I work on one at a time and can make all the edits/fixes to present the best piece I possibly can before moving on to the next in line. Turn-around-times tend to be between 2-8 months, so please keep this in mind and only apply if you are comfortable with this.

As you've more than likely noticed, I haven't been holding Sketch'em window openings these past few months on here. To be fully transparent, I was limiting my workload to take on patreon-exclusive slots while catching up on my current art due at the time. In doing so, I'm happy to say that I was, for the first time in nearly 10 years, able to catch up entirely 100% on all my Sketch'ems! I do still have a handful of larger commissions from my big opening earlier this year, which I plan to get the ball rolling on next. Honestly though, I'm so incredibly glad I took this small break and was able to.
Thank you all for your patience thus far, especially those waiting to see when the next window will be. I don't have a date to announce just yet, but I may look into having a separate window from the patreon slots, so that public folks will have a chance at a slot still too. Please stay tuned for future journals to keep up-to-date. I'll be sure to post here as soon as I have any new news to provide.
