No stream today or Friday - Happy Thanksgiving!

There won't be a stream today or on Friday due to the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. I'll upload the Leafeon TF this week sometime, and will be back to streaming next week with the 3-person Cow TF commission.

Technical difficulties - stream starting late today

I'm experiencing technical difficulties following a Windows update, so today's stream will start late (currently posting this on my phone). I'll start asap but it could be a short while longer.
As a heads-up, I'll also be out of town visiting my grandmother and unable to stream the 15th-18th, so next week's schedule is going to be a bit mucked up. I'll make up the time with extra streams, and will post another update when I have the schedule worked out.

Streams Resume Monday (Oct. 3rd)

Hope everyone who was in the storm's path made it through safely. It veered around where I am, so luckily all we had to deal with here was some strong winds and the power flickering.
Just needed to let you know that streams will resume Monday, October 3rd, but first I need to sort out my mental health/anxiety. Today's plan is getting my work space back together and tidied, and sorting out a daily schedule. My anxiety has run a bit amok the last week, but I'm still working on commissions as able even if it's taking longer than usual. I'm so sorry for the delays, but just let me know if you have any specific concerns! I also need to go through all my notifications/messages and get existing projects posted this weekend.

Sorry for the delay in streams, I fell down a deep depression/anxiety hole while adjusting to a new antidepressant and figuring out dosage. Doing better now (and so is my dog, thank goodness - the cough turned out to just be mild bronchitis), so today I'm getting back to streaming and commission work with a slightly shifted schedule.
Streams will (for now) be from 3-6 pm Eastern MWF instead of 2-5 like before. I'm going to see how that goes, and we can shift it again from there if needed.

My dog is having a particularly bad day today (yesterday he started having some breathing issues and an intermittent rattling cough) and I need to closely monitor him, so I won't be streaming this afternoon. Fingers crossed he improves and, if so, I'll be back on Friday.

I apologize for being gone so long. I've been fighting depression after finding out that my dog has a very aggressive form of cancer (hemangiosarcoma), which is what caused the masses on his spleen. When one of the masses burst, it created the internal bleeding that required emergency surgery. The survival rate for this particular cancer is extremely low, even with chemo. On top of that, he's older and has neurological and heart problems that mean chemo isn't an option, so he only has a couple of weeks to a maximum of four months left. which really sucks, because he'd just gotten a check-up after having part of his jaw removed to remove a melanoma and was told that if he was still clear in six months the doctor would have declared him to be in remission.
So it's been a rough couple of weeks. :(
He's been getting all of the love and attention, though, and I've been giving him as much of his favorite foods and treats as he wants. The least I can do is make his last few weeks the best he's ever had.
I'm finally feeling more mentally stable, so I'll be back to the regular streaming schedule starting on Monday (August 29th). Looking forward to seeing you all again, and just send me a note over the weekend if you have any questions.

I'm so sorry for the unexpected stream hiatus, but I need to take care of my dog this week. He's recovering from major surgery and internal bleeding, and needs to be constantly supervised so he doesn't hurt himself. My housemate who would normally watch him while I'm working was told they need to work from the office this week instead of from home, and I can't bring my dog into my usual work area while he's still healing (it's full of aquariums and isn't sanitary enough for him to be in). For that reason, I'll be taking a brief hiatus from streaming this week and working off-stream from my laptop, which isn't quite up to the task of streaming and running Photoshop at the same time.
Sorry about the unexpected hiatus, but I'll be back asap. :( Just gotta take care of my doggo.

Posted 3 years agoHi all, sorry for the short notice, but I won't be able to stream today. I was up most of last night taking my dog to the emergency vet because he suddenly started acting weird and wouldn't move. Turns out he had several masses on his spleen that had burst and caused a lot of internal bleeding, so they had to do emergency surgery and a transfusion. He made it through surgery okay, but we're still waiting on more info and I'm a bit of a mess at the moment. I'll update again when I know more.
Update (Monday, August 8th): He's still at the vet, is a bit anemic, and has a fever but is overall doing better. I've been spending a few hours every afternoon there visiting with him, which seems to have helped his separation anxiety at least. I'm going to visit again today, and if his fever is still low they tentatively think that I can take him home this evening. Still waiting on a biopsy for his spleen, but won't have that until later this week. If everything goes well, I'll be back to streaming on Wednesday and will post any more updates here as well.
Update (Wednesday, August 10th): Got him back home last night! Will be back to streaming today.

Time for a schedule and commissions update!
First, I won't be streaming for the next two weeks while I recover from dental surgery and wrap up all of my current projects (YCH auction final detailing + story, some Telegram sticker commissions, a BG extension for a prior commission, a trade, and a personal WIP). Streams will resume on Monday, July 11th. Apologies for the break in streams, but this will give me time to rest while also getting some work done, and be ready to hit the ground running when I open commissions.
And there's the good news:
I'll be opening 8 commission slots on Sunday, July 10th, at 2:00 pm Eastern time. You can find all of my commission prices, terms of service, what I will/won't draw, and other info on my FurAffinity commission info page. All prices are in U.S. Dollars, and I currently accept payments only through Paypal invoices.
If you'd like to try to claim a commission slot, please send me a note here on FurAffinity with the required information after 2 pm on Sunday, July 10th. If the time stamp on your note/DM is before 2 pm on Sunday, July 10th, you will need to re-send the commission request at the correct time.
Commission slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and slots often fill up very quickly, so your best bet is to write out all the info beforehand and paste it into a note to send after 2 pm only.
Incomplete information will not result in a saved commission slot, so please remember to include answers to everything the first time!:

I'm getting my air conditioner fixed tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, May 11th) so unfortunately I won't be able to stream. It was either tomorrow afternoon or next week, and given that I live in Florida and summer has long been upon us, sooner is always better (especially with heat-sensitive pets). I'll be right back to my regular stream schedule on Friday though, hopefully with functional A/C.

This is a heads-up that I'll be posting an eeveelution YCH auction to FurAffinity tomorrow evening (Monday, May 2nd) at 9:00 pm Eastern time. Bidding will take place in the submission comments, and bidding will officially end 48 hours later at 9:00 pm Eastern on Wednesday, May 3rd.
There will be 5 test subject slots (human to your choice of any eeveelution, any gender, TF or TGTF) and 2 scientist slots (human or anthro eeveelution), and the final YCH will feature:
- Final dimensions of 30x24 inches @ 300 dpi
- Detailed shading (examples here)
- A very complex Team Rocket laboratory background
- Both SFW and NSFW versions (though each slot winner can choose to be SFW or partially covered in both, if they wish), and...
- A 5,000-word story.
Bidding will start at $5 per slot, with auto-buy prices for each. AB prices will be $250 each for the front three (currently Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Umbreon), $225 for the back two subjects (currently Espeon and Sylveon), $55 for the full-body scientist holding a clipboard, and $45 for the half-body scientist with crossed arms.

One of my favorite pet fish just died from injuries after unexpected aggression from a long-established tank mate (I'll spare the details but it was... horrible), and dealing with that has left me completely drained and not at all in the right frame of mind to draw. 😞 I'll see you all on Monday.
