Almost done with the test comms (I'll post them when I can) so I'll be testing out my new requests format shortly.

Alright I'm back and ready to start drawing stuff again! I have a few things to post that I've been too lazy to, so those will probably be going up some time this week. In addition I've decided to change up the way I handle requests, trades, and commissions I guess that will hopefully make things run a little smoother around here.

Requests
I hate pretty much every part of drawing except for the sketching phase, since they're dull and take forever. So in the interest of time and not burning out, requests from now on are going to be left as sketches. I may or may not color them, I haven't decided yet. Regardless I'll include B&W versions of each piece since I'm no good at colors anyway. Here's a good example of how future requests might look. I hope you'll excuse the messiness of it, but it should be more enjoyable and let me get to more people that way.
Also the current plan is to open up for only a few days, but more frequently, perhaps at the beginning of the month. Should help prevent me getting overwhelmed I hope.

Trades
I've been very bad at keeping up with trades so far, and not all of them have gone very well. So from now on I'm limiting trades to friends and/or folks that I watch here or elsewhere. Sorry to anyone that doesn't fit the bill that has asked in the past; I need some sort of rule here to keep things orderly.

Commissions
Yeah I still don't really know how to go about this. I have some ideas for prices but I don't know how exactly to handle this stuff. Once I get back up and running properly I want to do a test run with some of the people who have asked for comms in the past, but I don't really want to go asking around for people to give me money. So if I know you somewhat and you're interested, let me know maybe? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still have some gift art to finish up but after I do so I think I'm going to try and reopen requests with this new rule set, and hopefully make better progress as a result.

Considering we're nearly 3 months out from when I opened them, I'm going to go ahead and just stop on the requests (not like I really started though).
I dislike working on requests that are months old for obvious reasons, sorry to anyone that posted somewhat recently.

It's a shame; there were a lot of requests that I really wanted to do but I just can't summon the will to actually do them.
I might get in contact with some of the people that have been requesting things and see about getting something going at some point, but who knows :/
Also, I wanted to test run commissions with some folks that have been asking a lot but I'm going to put that plan on hold since I clearly can't keep up at present.

Along with that I'm gonna go ahead and just say that I'm going on "hiatus," though that's only half-true. I'll probably still draw in the rare instances I want to and sketch things up for friends as I have been, but as for the illusion of a schedule that I've been trying to uphold, you might as well assume nothing's coming. I'll just post whenever there actually is something to post.

Again sorry for not getting to nearly as many requests as I wanted to, especially with this all time low

I know I've promised a billion other things to peeps, from trades to gifts to specific characters to an animation (that I definitely have been working on and am not at all stuck trying to plan out even the first frame), BUT like the masochist I am I'd like to open up another requests journal here shortly since it's been so long.

It's a terrible idea I know, with the amount of stuff I have "owed" already and potential job application stuff on the horizon, but I do wanna offer up at least one more chance for free shit before I inevitably start doing commission stuff, not that I'll stop then anyway. I just want to work on stuff for you non-Discord pals too, that way everyone is happy... or at least as many people as I can manage before motivation dips, oops.

So yeah, guess I'll open up at the start of February maybe? I'll try to at least, though I am notoriously bad with promises :D

Forget to post something about this yesterday but finally I can say I've officially graduated! Free from university at last woo!
Now I await the crises to roll in :)

With that said, college was a little busy the past two weeks so I've got nothing for this weekend, though I suppose that's nothing new to hear.
Additionally I'm not sure how much time I'll be needing to spend on looking around for stuff to do with myself so I can't promise much of a schedule in the next couple of months.
But hopefully I'll be opening up for requests in the coming weeks, and I know I have several trade and other obligations so I need to get to those too.

I started this account when I was 18 back in early 2016. It was a shitty year for me so drawing and posting my "art" served as a good distraction from the otherwise generally bad time I was having.
I'm glad I started when I did, but the mindset I was in was one I didn't want to spread to others, so I would act falsely cheery in descriptions / comment responses and otherwise avoid talking to people.
Even as things improved I kept up with that behaviour because it was just what I was used to doing here (hell, even now I still throw around tildes and other "cutesy" responses despite that not being the way I normally talk).

I tried to get away from my antisocial behaviour somewhat by opening a Discord and Telegram, but I've ended up relapsing there anyway.
Out of the maybe 30 people that have gone out of their way to add me and try to strike up conversation, maybe only half have I had more than one exchange with (a couple none at all) and only like 3 or 4 that I still keep some degree of contact with.
And I certainly get why: "You must message me first. No small talk. No RP. No fun allowed blah blah." And even when people would follow my stupid guidelines I would just randomly stop talking anyway. It's not fair and, given my charisma is that of a sock, definitely not worth it.
I just think I've been too formal, distant, and selfish for the most part, and I'm sorry.

Believe it or not I'm here to make friends too, not just to draw smut and silently applaud the smut of others, so I want to start putting some effort in there.
From your comments alone it seems that a lot of you are really nice, and from the profiles I've read I know that many of you are as shy as me, if not more so, so it isn't fair for me to expect everyone else to take the initiative.
Thanks to the few that have kept contact with me despite all this; you're cool and I appreciate it.

That was a lot of rambling so let me get to the point (which involves more rambling):

I'm going to try to start keeping more contact with the people that already have me on Discord, especially those that I haven't talked to in a while (or at all). Unfriend me if you don't want that, it's fine; I understand the mindset.
I also want to add some of you folk I see around a lot that have a Discord. You guys and gals seem nice, and I'd like to at least return the friendliness.

Now here comes the part I'm probably going to regret saying. I've said "no RP" for a long time because it's always been something that was a little weird to me, but 3+ years have passed and admittedly the idea of it has become more appealing over time.
Still don't come out of the gates saying "hey let's RP," especially if it's of the more risque sort, but if we've talked a while then I'm not... necessarily apposed. You'll still have to hold my hand there though. I'm not a beacon of self-confidence.

And obviously small talk is fine. What a stupid-ass rule that was, right?

First, I'm going to have to postpone art to next weekend again because I'll be gradually moving back to campus over the course of this one.

Second, the current request journal is well over 3 months old now, so I may only do 1 or 2 more before closing. I didn't get to very many of them so I apologize, regardless how people might defend that because "free art."

Third, I probably won't reopen for requests for a little while because I wanna work on personal art, trades, and an actual goddamn animation for once. I asked for ideas on that front months ago but then forgot, oops.

So, I'll ask for any suggestions you have for an animation yet again. Note that this isn't a bid for requests, so no OCs. Also it will almost certainly be NSFW and will probably be no more than 12 or so frames. If I can think of some concrete ideas myself then I might add them and the suggestions to a poll or something.

I have a couple of things to finish up and post first, and then I'll be opening up for requests again (and trades I guess, since I've had a couple people ask). The current way I take requests could use some tweaking though; I don't like that I'm only able to do a such a minuscule percentage of what is requested. Does anyone have any suggestions or preferences regarding how I should be linking to pics on my alt account?

For pictures that I can make simple edits of I can just include a link in the description (like with the recent Lucario pic), but I'm not sure how to handle pictures that I can't easily make toned-down versions of.

That recent Lucario pic somehow recently became my most favorited image somehow, even more than the animations I've done, despite it being a simplified edit of the real picture.

Never underestimate the furs' love of Lucario and also dick I suppose. Thanks if you like it, just know that I look at you with slight intrigue.

I was trying to bum-rush a DELTARUNE pic for yesterday/today while it's fresh but my classes all want projects and exams done before turkey break so guess not.

Requests are starting to grate on me so I'll probably do a couple more and then stop for a while.

After that I'll be working on personal art and such, and I suppose I might as well start on another animation since people seem to like those.

Note these aren't requests; I may well use none of the ideas you elect to give me, but I would like a general idea of what people might like to see. Also note that I want to make simpler animations for now, as those last two were needlessly complex for how short they were in the end.

That all being said, this kind of thing takes a while (especially for me) so don't expect me to have anything done in the immediate future.
