My friend needs help!
Posted 5 years agoLike seriously, he could lose his house/car/place to stay if he can't make rent this month, because his workplace hasn't accepted/acknowledged his medical leave (was on it before for a back injury, went back to work, got hurt again, workplace is screwing him around).
But yes, if you can help my friend
jandan in any way or form, even if just a sketch comission from him or something, that would be super great! He does SFW and NSFW! (Send me proof you have done so, and I can throw in a inked/coloured fineliner pen headshot of your character for FREE! Please only send SFW refrences to me)
If you want a recomendation, commission some lines from him, print them off and colour them in at home!it makes for a fun quarentine activity! (Just make sure you credit him for the lines!)

Ok, not really, it's a joke...I can't visit him in the USA because they've closed borders due to Covid-19, but apparently I can mail myself over there if I'm a "good" so he bought me as a mail order bride for $1. I have the email to prove it, too!

2) You must provide a visual reference of the character. Please nothing too complicated.

New free art raffle starting soon!
Posted 6 years agoI'm planning to do another free art raffle thingy in June for watchers, something which may be pretty different to the usual free art raffles you get on this website, which I'm hoping people will like. Some of my watchers might be able to guess what I'd have in mind going by some of the things I have been posting lately, that's the only hint I'm leaving. I shall sit and leave you to guess what fishwolf has planned >:3

Posted 6 years agoOk, first of all, thanks a bunch everyone for entering my first ever art raffle! I was only really expecting maybe 2 people to enter, so 6 is quite a turn out! I'll be holding another free art raffle in the future, maybe around summer time, so stick around and keep an eye out!

2) You must provide a SFW visual reference of the character. Please nothing too complicated.
3) What class (rogue/mage/warrior) would your character be? and what weapon would they use?
4) You have until the 10th of March 2019 to enter. At which point I will use a random number generator to pick a winner.
5) furry characters only please.
6) to enter, reply to my "RAFFLE ENTRY" comment. Comments with entries that are not a reply to "RAFFLE ENTRY" will not count.
I work with lots of different styles/things, so I have lots of examples to show for ideas of quality of the final art. If you want the art drawn on a 3DS or if you want it to be drawn with fineliner pens let me know, or I will decide randomly how I draw your art.

The reason I draw
Posted 7 years agoI looked up lyrics to a song the other day ("Someone to Stay" - Vancouver Sleep Clinic)... and was immediately inspired to put a video together (Warning: some artwork in the video contains blood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oit.....ature=youtu.be) Unfortunately the video isn't a full blown animation (I've spent 4 hours on 1 second worth of shot before, and 3.5 hours on barely another second, that's enough to drive me nuts), but looking through some of my older stuff I managed to scrabble together just enough artwork for this video (although I had to edit/cut the song down by about a quarter to do so)
I kinda tried to give the video a story? I'm not sure if it really shows, the age of my artwork being out of order might spoil it a bit in places, but yeah, I've tried to work with what I could find (doesn't help lots of my stuff has been sent 4,000 miles away, so taking clearer pictures of some things is physically impossible, although there is good reason for said work being 4,000 miles away now)
I've been meaning to post this video for a while but it kept slipping my mind, a lot of things have lately (like trying to grab slimy slugs that have been drenched in butter) but yes. A video I did.
I listened to a song while I was working on animation the other day, and something suddenly hit me: if it wasn't for listening to that song, after reading part of a story, I never would have done a certain painting in the first place... and I may not have gotten to know you, and so many fraggin' things would be different... I might not have been able to get the bus on my own, there's people I wouldn't have met, things I wouldn't have done, places I wouldn't have been... There's quite a bit of my life that might not have happened at all if I hadn't met you...
I made the video for my dear friend, jandan... None of the artwork in the video, or on this page, would exist without you.
