Off to better things.
Posted 8 years agoI don't think I have actual followers anymore.
Oh well, at least i'm putting this out into the void.
Its been about 3 years since I've even logged in.
Being a furry and wearing a suit used to give me that confident push into making friends.
Doing awesome stuff, generally getting out of my comfort zone for the better.
Doing entertainment for a living for so long it was an easy transition.
After being apart of the fandom for so long, its just not fun for me anymore.
Now that confidence stems from myself, and I'm able to experience amazing things.
So my suit is sitting in a box, maybe it will come back out, maybe not.
It now stands as a metaphor for how I no longer need a shell to be myself.
Hopefully soon my dream career will come to fruition. Maybe Ill suit up sometime after.

A breakthrough?
Posted 12 years agoI finally feel like I've found a way to deal with my pain. To keep it apart of me,
my pain makes me real. I know now that Happiness isn't masking pain but instead
changing the things that make you unhappy. In an honest and respectful way of course!
Pain will always be there, and things will still make me sad, but It feels good knowing
I have enough confidence in my own feelings that it wont take over my life.

Posted 12 years agoDo I still feel the ever shifting walls, the ones I once felt so long ago.
Feeling that everything holds it own secrets. Touching down into a world where the nothing makes the most sense.
Where a ripple of a crystal drop of water goes on for hours, staring infinitely into what it must truly mean.
A great emotion of fear and intense wonder. The more coherent I am to waking life, the more I feel a true peace fade away.
Perhaps the sleeping state of my past self, discovered through many years in solitude. Was a real peace.
Today I don't write as insane as I used to, but I still find myself stuck in the middle of a grass field in the fall of night.
I just stare on forever, not to scan stars for their beauty but feeling that I existed within them
I cant shake the feeling, the things I've seen and perceived in the world.
I don't know how many people can stare at a flower, or something as insignificant as a towel for hours on end.
Constantly thinking, Never stopping to wonder why I did it. I just knew within my entire heart that even the most insignificant things could be peeled back to behold marvelous secrets.

It looks like I will be able to finally get a chance.
I really cant wait to see my friends, my old friends, and make new ones again.

There's no need to be sealing, all those pent up feelings.

Questioning your existence and usefulness, guiding to hate, love, all for, and protests.
If only we could all find our perfect way, instead of most who lead to decay.
How can you break far from that mold. when opportunities always get knocked cold.
Perhaps the only way too succeed, is to let the corner of your eye receive.
All the things you keep passing by, because you didn't even try.
Even if my voice isn't heard, at least it might send its own word.
To my mind who is in war, to convince it to explore.
There's no need to be sealing, maybe I should take first steps into healing.

Wading Pool of Rainclouds
Posted 13 years agoWe can always find something that makes us happy. Sustaining it is the problem.
What is everlasting happiness? Finding your true self, finding the thing/things you love?
Do we wait for the clouds to change, or is it respecting all things good or bad.
These questions drive humanity in huge ways.
How in the world are any of us suppose to make a path
when it could teeter totter each way at any moments notice?
Some say to use those fears and survive to be happy, or to embrace and live to be happier.
I have lot's of things to make me happy, but I still find myself striving for more of something.
Many days and nights spent doing nothing, my mind feeling itself fade.
Is this what bliss is suppose to feel like?
Perhaps (at least one way) to true happiness, is to set a driving force behind what you do.
The gratification of wanting to accomplish something and going out to do it out of free will.
The most happy people are the ones who lacked something, and found it on their own.
Perhaps it is easier to not bother with trying to accomplish anything.
But I'm finding it harder and harder to let my mind go to waste.

Cant wait to get started up, with this I will finally have savings!

A moment in the life of a Fisk
Posted 13 years agoNights are long, days are longer. This deep feeling and sense of BOREDOM falls like .. rose petals or something.
Like, uhhhhh.. on a lake, made out of sadness and ... DARKNESS, and sour apple o's, oh yes sour apple O's.
Don't get me wrong, I love those sour rings of heaven, I just don't like lakes.
After a good bicycle ride, or an even better motorcycle ride, I often ponder onto my destiny.
Will I be a famed garbage truck driver, or an unknown singer in an alleyway,
holding a sign that says "Will sing for food".
I know that if I strived forward I could possibly achieve these amazing feats.
My goals currently, get a stage two carburetor jet kit for my bike, AND a new airfilter.
And hydroseed my car so it grows grass all over it, yeaaaaaaaah!
Every day I'm stuck whenever I try to record a song, Its torture not being able to have that motivation.
Now I got to go have fun with my amazing current job: Sign Waver. Formally Lord of sign wind.

The importance of gear when riding in Washington
Posted 14 years agoAs we all know (at least the folks from around here) Washington isn't the warmest place in the world.
As a result even our normal weather isn't really the most ideal for motorcyclists.
Given that the wind chill can literally kill us. Air getting below zero does not feel good on exposed skin.
I've had numb fingers and a numb neck even in our summer time weather.
After nearly going into hypothermia multiple times I've happily invested in in plenty of gear.
With the winter air coming around us, the ride home tonight from Seattle wasn't good.
Just forgetting my scarf to cover my neck, made it an particularly chilly night.
The ride almost made me feel like I was losing my neck, it was extremely painful.
I had to take off my glove to hold my hand against it just to try and bear it enough before I stopped.
I held a glove between my teeth (which was electric so it had a cord) and it took me a while to figure out I was
touching my neck, it was so numb at that point.
But I couldn't get my glove back on, I wasn't able to clutch at all, running at 80 mph I had to made a choice fast.
I ripped the cord off and I was forced to hold the glove in my mouth and ride with an exposed hand until I finally could stop.
My neck had at least a little protection from my helmet but my fingers were facing the wind fully.
It only took a minute before they started to hurt from the intense cold.
Luckily I was stopping soon and was able to quickly put on my glove and save my hand at a stop light.
NEVER AGAIN, I will always carry everything I need with me now at all times.
Being a Washington motorcyclist is tough! I can handle cold, but not this extreme of cold!
Still cant feel neck and I've been home for 2 hours, GAH!
Yall take care and ride/drive safe.
