I wanna do something Christmas related with my characters in a future pic, but I can't seem to come up anything. Maybe a parody of a movie?...Party scene?...I don't know. Maybe an idea will come to me.

Another great Furpoc has come and gone. A weekend I really needed.

I left for the con after work on Thursday night. It rained the whole way, but got there safely. I roomed with  allan at the Super 8.

Friday: I got a commission from  likeshine which will be uploaded later. Also I participated in the Furry Little Liars panel hosted by  davidn

Saturday: Attended the Saturday Morning Cartoon panel as usual. Later that evening I co-hosted the Open-Mic Comedy panel with Dtales Dragnawolf which went surprisingly well. People actually showed up! Then there was the Masquerade where I gave one of my best stand-up performances. If anyone has video of it, please let me know.

Sunday: Pretty slow day. Spent most of the time drawing and hanging out with friends. Left for home Monday morning.

So I've had an awesome time Furpocalypse 2016. I definitely wanna go back next year!

That's basically what's been holding me back on my art lately.

My job's been giving me nothing but stress, anxiety, and frustration for the past few months. Long story short: Received another poor performance report and got written up for it. I'm trying to hold on till Furpocalypse next month; but I don't know if I can...*sighs*...I miss working in the warehouse...

Anyway...as for my art...I've been doing some sketches here and there to try to keep my creativity going. It's just been so difficult lately. But I'm doing all I can.

Just got back home from MFM 20. It was such a relaxing weekend. I really needed it after the month I've had.

I spent most of the time just hanging around the con, talking with friends, and did some drawing. I've been working on a new pic featuring members of the Babsiwuff club as well as making a few changes to my fursona. You'll see them soon.

I did good in the Masquerade this year. Even  saizaku; who's my toughest critic; got a few laughs from it. I consider that performance a warm up for what I have in store for Furpocalypse this year. ;)

...I need to vent for a bit.

These past two weeks just kicked the living crap outta me. I've received a poor performance review at my job. I've felt like crap ever since. It feels like all I ever do make mistakes. No matter how hard I try, all I do screw up. I never do anything right. I'm doomed to fail at everything I do.

All my life people (dad and grandpa mostly) have told me never to cry or show weakness...
...*sighs*...I can't do this any more. I need an outlet. I just wanna let out one big cry and just be done with it.

Starting Wednesday I'll be on another business trip. This time I'm off to New Kingstown, PA to help out at another parts distribution center.

I should be back by the end of the week. I'll have my tablet with me and God willing if the hotel has WiFi I'll stay in touch.

Just got home from Pittsburgh. I've had an awesome weekend. What a great way to end my week off from work!

The only downside to the whole weekend was I didn't get a chance to perform my stand-up act at the Open Mic panel. There was a large crowd there and I didn't get picked. Oh well; there's still Mephit Fur Meet and Furpocalypse. God willing I can still make those conventions.

Mostly a HUGE thank you to  allan for introducing me to  keenyfox, who I FINALLY met in person! :-D It was so awesome hanging out with them all weekend! We even did art for each other, too! I'm back home from my week long business trip. The one thing I didn't get a chance to do while I was away is draw. I've been out of it for a while and I really wanna get back into it. So this weekend I'll try to do some sketches and also work on  lilifox's latest art challenge.

This week I'll be back up in Wind Gap, PA working in the distribution center for a few days. I just bought a new tablet so I'll be able to stay connected with you guys while I'm away from my computer. I can't stand being offline so long periods of time. :P

Starting Wednesday I'll be working at the distribution center in Wind Gap, PA helping with their stock. Depending on how much work gets done, I should be back around Friday.

The reason I brought this up is because I wanna share some things with you. I was raised in a Christian home and I'm very active in my church. I've also been a Furry for over 10 years now. As much as I love being a part of the fandom; the one thing that always bugged me is its very negative view on Christianity. Which is understandable since there are so many people out there who don't represent religion in the correct way. And that angers me so much. The right to express our religious beliefs has been heavily abused by those who use Christianity as a way to either argue a point, judge others, or hide what they do behind closed doors.

Those of you who know me know about my faith and the struggles I go through in life. I am not a perfect person. I deal with anger, depression, self-doubt, temptation, lust, etc. just like everyone else. When you're 35 and single you deal with those all the time. :P Anyway, I've stumbled a lot in my walk, but I still get back up and keep going. I've made a ton of mistakes in my life and I'm going to make more in the future, but I know God loves me in spite of my imperfections. Anyone who tells you that God doesn't love because of who you are is a liar and a hater pure and simple.

I'm always trying to be a better person as well as a good friend. I have a lot friends who are atheist, gay, lesbian, bi, trans, etc. I may not always agree with them, but I do respect them. My upbringing is the reason why I am the way I am. I care about my friends. I love my friends. I care about those in the furry community no matter who or what they are. I wanna show them the same type of love I was shown since I was young. That's why I post comments of encouragement of positive thoughts when someone's going through a tough time...and why most of my stand-up routines end like a church sermon. *mic drop*:P

I can go on and on about this, but maybe I'll save that for another time.

Well my time off from my job has been approved!

So assuming I have 4th of July and Labor Day off as well (It is a new position I'm working in after all); I'll be attending Anthrocon, Mephit Fur Meet, and Furpocalypse.

Now that Zootopia's a hit, what's the best way to continue with the story? With a film sequel or an animated TV series?

Whatever they decided to do, I think they need to explore more of the world Zootopia lives in. We've only seen a few parts of the city (Rain Forrest, TundraTown, Little Rodentia, etc.) and it would be great if we could see more of it. Plus more ways on how different animals live in such environments.

Here's some ideas I've been thinking about. They could work for either a movie or an episode of a TV show:

- If Nick and Judy are going to be the focus, put them in situations were their friendship can be tested. Let's say they had to go undercover to stop a smuggling ring or whatever. Nick would his scheming ways to infiltrate the gang. Then he would have to struggle between reverting back to his old life of being a con artist and staying loyal to the police.

- Or what if Nick ran into one of the bullies who picked on him when he was young. Nick may seem confident, but may still have some issues dealing with confrontation. Judy, being a more resilient character, could offer him tips on how to confront his past.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Feel free to comment or share some of your own.
