Me and Blu would like to thank everybody that helped us celebrate our first
anniversary together, last night.

We ate some (well, ok...errr...more than 'some' >.<) pretty good food, and had a
great time after. Thanks guys. ^_^

Blu~ I appreciate everyone coming over , to eat as a group and go somewhere to
hang out and have a good time. I loved it, And seeing us altogether with a new

Just a little re-post:

Me and Blu will be celebrating our first anniversary on Feb. 19th, 2011.

We will start the festivities at that Chinese buffet over on the north side of
the east mall for some leisurely grazing of the wonderful fair they have.

We are looking to start dinner about 6:30ish pm to 7
No later.

After dinner, we will make our way over to Side Street Retro-Lounge.

(Our anniversary is actually Feb. 15th, but that is the middle of the week, and we wanted to go to the bar where we first met. So that is why we decided to move our celebration to the 19th)

Is planning a little get together for my and Blu's first anniversary at
Side Streets bar in Wichita KS, where we first met. Planning on the 19th of Feb.
Our anniversary is the 15th, but that is a Tuesday. We thought Saturday would be
better if we're all going to meet at a bar.

This is an exciting company. They have done work for a lot of stuff we all have heard of. Graphics for movies, and such. Plus he's got some stuff in the works that is so cool. Won't go too much into it, or who they are just yet. (yes, they are that big!)

If I can land this opportunity, it is one of those jobs that will make EVERYTHING I have endured here in this city, worth it!

Yet another chapter draws to a close. I don't know what is next for me at this point. We find out tomorrow when we must be out of our appartment. Seems there is just no way to save it. Blu Wolf will be going into the Job Corps. It will be good for him, and he'll be ok. We sure had a great run. I will miss him so much. I guess it will be better for us this way...tho it doesn't feel that way right now.

I have seen so many journal entries here on FA, just like this one.
I guess I will be just one more.
My mate Blu, and I have no work, nor have been able to get any work for a couple months now. It's getting to the point where we are having to face the real chance that we will become homeless.

I have been talking to a guy about a job, that looks real good on the surface.
$45/hr, webdesign, Flash Architect :: 6 Months-renewable to 2.5 yrs on performance. Wow, right? Sure would solve a lot of worries.

Is what I thought, but on further investigation, it almost looks like it might not be a real job. The address on the contact page shows an appartment complex on google maps. The domain name was regitered by someone in India. May or may not mean anything, but the more I think about it, the more I am scared it just isn't real. What am I going to do now? Keep trying? Of course I will, even from the streets if we get evicted from our humble appartment. I can't help but wonder what I did wrong. Since I moved to this city nothing has gone right. I have made a lot of friends, but I am sorry, but that is only going to carry us so far.

I am so depressed. I just feel so defeated.


On the bright side, I am still looking forward to having a job that I can piss and moan and complain about like everyone else around here...sheesh

Wow. Had a furry dream the other night. Only my second one really.
Was about someone here on FA. Kindof famous...won't say who, as it will seem silly.
The dream was that I was hired to don his fur suit so as to act as a distraction so he could get away from the fawning crowds of rabid admirers.

Hello my wonderful furs.

I have had a ruff couple of weeks dealing with the loss of someone I didn’t really know that well and haven’t even spoken to in quite a few years; my own Mother. I guess now, I can actually be at the point in my life where I can finally let go of the old, old pain that doesn’t now, nor hasn’t meant a thing for a lot of years. I kept that pain alive all by myself, and have no one to blame for it but myself. It has ruined a lot of aspects in my life, just holding this oozing wound that should have healed so very long ago. I was just too stubborn to let go of it.

So now, I choose to let it go.
I choose to forgive someone that I choose to believe, really didn’t really know what she was doing. I am not totally blameless for the relationship that developed between my mother and me, while I was growing up. So I must forgive myself as well. I could have been a better son. I could have stood up to her in such a way as to illustrate what I was really feeling, instead of being a head shy coward, afraid of his own shadow; afraid to speak up at all for myself. We both were to blame; she for her sometimes violent harshness, and me for my cowardly rebellion.

It’s over now, and really has been for years. After all these years maybe some form of healing can take place. Maybe I can has my life back now...no, no...Scratch that...I can now take my life back from the depths I have had it hidden in for all these years.
