I have more-or-less confirmed my start date to be next monday! 1 week from today! Until then I'm going to be working a lot of extra hours to make the transition easier on my day job so art will be dramatically slowed until then. I've already sent out messages individually to the clients I am actively working with but to those of you keeping an eye on my waitlist or just wanting to see more art, I will be back on track and beyond on monday!

Well! Do to some unfortunate circumstances around provincial covid policies and my day job likely about to become pretty unsafe, its looking like I might be falling into doing art full-time! A bit scary for me since I don't feel quite ready for such a jump, but a little bit exciting none-the-less.

A few things will be coming with that change:

1. I'm currently setting up a patreon! I don't know if that is something many of you will be interested in, but I'm brainstorming rewards to offer, such as:

- guarenteed monthly commission slots (mostly for smaller items such as doodle scenes or simple scenes)
- private art streams of these monthly commissions, potentially with sketch requests if the above are finished early
- behind the scenes like sketches and alternate versions of art
- highest res art access

What kinds of things would you like to see as a reward?

2. I will be scheduling regular weekly public art streams where I will be taking spur of the moment commissions such as headshots, doodle scenes, telegram stickers and sketches! I would be working on regular commissions where those are not applicable, so streams would happen either way.

3. Hopefully I'll be putting out more regular content other than commissions but that is less of a guarentee and more of a hope, we will see what happens as I settle into my new schedule!

Hello hello just wanted to let you all know I'm back! It'll be a short while before I can post any art because everything I am working on currently is quite large! but I have serveral comic pages on the way and a big seqeunce that has been in the works for entirely too long! lol

In other news, I have been working on a personal discord for a little while now and I'm almost ready to open it to the public! It'll be for updates to watchers/followers for commissioin openings/streams and I will also be posting exclusive sketches and previews there :D just running it through a final test and will be launching that likely later tonight or sometime tomorrow!

Hello everybody, sorry for the relative silence over the last couple of weeks! I've been busy preparing for that change I mentioned, and went for a little trip for my birthday

Exciting news everybody! I'm currently preparing for a test period where I work half as many hours at my day job and lean a little bit more on my art financially!

This is a huge deal for me and I am both excited and nervous about it, I've been giddy all day! This means a few changes are coming up, good ones for all of you I hope!

Most excitingly: more content! More commission openings (once I get through this queue)! Faster turnarounds!

Possibly: Some price changes as I have more time to evalualate them and how long I spend on each one when working in succession. That's one thing I've never properly studied. They shouldn't go up too much, in fact some may even come down. It will just be an adjustment! I'm trying to ensure I make at least minimum wage, and things are consistent between commission types!

New: Art streams! I'm thinking maybe once a week once I get into the art flow I will do a public art stream and likely work on my commissions, or maybe even take a few stream doodle requests! We'll have to play that by ear. I am also considering a patreon, but I will need to figure out what kinds of rewards to offer and how to handle it between my different audiences!

I'm really hoping this goes well! If this works out you will be seeing a lot more of me here I hope!

Ok! I did a quick redo of my commission sheet, they may go through a little bit of flux over the next little while but they are more accurate now and changed a little more than anticipated.
However there is still a variety of prices available, and I am willing to do things with less refined linework for a similar result and price to what it was before, so do feel free to send me a note if you want to inquire about work within a tighter budget, I don't mind at all!

I was trying to decide whether I should update my commission status or not and I've come to the tentative conclusion of no, I will keep them set as open, but for those interested I would like to disclaim that I am in the process of reworking my prices so those listed on my profile are no longer acccurate! I'm also only taking one or two at a time to avoid long waits ^^
I would like to update the types of commissions I offer as well as the rates since those were set very low due to how experimental they were and inexperienced I was. I'm satisfied with my progress over the last couple of years so I'd like to reflect that, I hope theres no hard feelings!

Sorry if it seems strange to jump to this immediately upon my return, I just want to cover all my bases asap since I won't be as active here as before my break and don't want to just completely remove the current prices for personal reference! At least until I've decided on the new ones.

As most of you that stuck around probably remember, about a year ago I left with a pretty vague journal with no real promise of returning. I had to sort out some things with my job and my home and I've since relocated to the small town where I grew up and have had a little bit more time to breathe.
I'm alright! I was never in any trouble and I was never ill, I just needed some time to sort things out and did not see a means of coming back any time soon. Communication was overwhelming and I was not in a good mind to keep up with many people outside of a close few.
A year later I am feeling a little bit more myself and I feel I can handle an online presence here again, though a bit smaller. I will not be using this as a primary media and will mostly just be popping in from time to time to share with you some art and answer a few messages, I hope you can understand. I want to keep myself from becoming overwhelmed as I ease back into things, you may see more changes in the future.

On a more positive note, I believe my artistic ability has made some notable improvements in my absence, and I will be starting off my return with a piece I know a good few of you are going to love! With the promise of another quite large sequence on the way ^^

i was stupid and didnt save because i was on a role with a sketch turned full drawing for one of my commissioners, and my stupid computer crashed for absolutely no reason so i dont think i can recover it
