Help a kitty in need?
Posted 12 months agoHello friends, I hope you’re all well.
My friends yesterday found an abandoned kitty in the park and he’s in a sorry state.
He also needs help finding a possible furever home.
If anyone’s able to donate, even if it’s just a dollar, it would be forever appreciated.
Thank you!!

Seattle or Bust
Posted 7 years agoTo whoever it may concern:
I am looking to relocate to Seattle at the end of this coming June.
I am looking to establish myself with some of the individuals in or around Seattle and hopefully find a place to rent, preferably a room to rent.
I am more interested in the Everett/Auburn area- but this isn't a must.
I am currently looking for work and am working towards getting something nailed down the closer the time comes.
I will be driving and bringing my car with me, so parking would be a must. I don't have much coming with me, only what I can fit in my little wagon.
I enjoy cooking and am passionate about baking, roughly half of what I'm bringing with me is clothes and kitchenware.
I hope to speak with you soon. Thank you so much for your time !

One reason my fursona is a feline is my curiosity
Posted 7 years agoExample:
Me barely awake and reading the news on my phone: BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.... stocks... BLAH BLAH Wegmans
Me, now thinking: The fuck is a Wegmans?
An hour later I’m in Burlington, MA.

Posted 9 years agoWell - I'm taking the plunge.
I decided that what money I have been able to save up to splurge some and reserve a room for ANE.
I have been in the fur community since 2008 and I haven't been able to go to a con yet. I was supposed to go last year, but emergencies sprung up last minute.
I'm hoping this will prove to be the much needed vacation that I need. And not to mention - Boston is a lovely city that I adore and I'm also hoping for a chance to do some much needed exploring atop of everything.
Hope to see some of you there! - YAOI

I'm So Glad Someone Could Explain It So Eloquently
Posted 9 years agoSo for those of you who aren't familiar, Oh Joy Sex Toy is an amazing webcomic by Erika Moen.
She reviews sex toys, sometimes with her husband, sometimes she explains sexual health or explores discovering one's sexual identity. Many of her comics can even be used for sexual education or self awareness. For that I applaud her!
However Erika every so often has guest artists on to either share some smut, humor, or in this case to explore a one of the many facets of sexuality.
Grey White has submitted a nice comic about fursuiting and fursuiters that I thought was a very nice way of explaing who and what those things exactly are.
Have a look!

I wanted to send a shout out to some notable people
Posted 9 years agoI don't know how to start a journal like this, however I'll do my best.
I know whenever I submit a piece of artwork, commissioned or gifted, I tend to give a quick blurb to the artist which to sum it up is usually boiled down to, "EL OH EL! THEY'RE AWESOME!" I know I can do better and this is a chance to give these people the recognition I feel they deserve.
FIRST UP!
qwertycat . -- This gentleman just finished up an amazing piece for me. Using digital mediums he is able to create realistic portraits with amazing details and accuracy. He is also able to capture emotion in an amazing manner as well. I don't know how he does it, but I can safely say I look very much forward to his work in the future.
theredbandit . -- Yve as she is known is a friend of mine hailing in from New Hampshire. She is a lovely badger that can light up a room with her wit and humor - safe to say I adore her. She is also one of the most talented individuals I know. Her crafting and artistic abilities border on Martha Stewart whether it be watercolors, sketches, and yes, freaking plushies. She even makes costumes and puppets... you name it I know she can do it.
nightlinez . -- I have met Linez a few times during various NH furmeets and she is as lovely as the artwork she creates. The best way to describe her style is whimsical, charming, and sometimes downright adorable. Her work is also original and uniquely hers. I love perusing her galleries especially if I've had a bad day - her work has an amazing ability to make one feel a wee bit better if they surely need it.
Last but certainly not least,
ludwig.goff -- A gentleman I am proud to call my friend and have in my life. Though I have not had any work done personally by him, I still felt the need to give him a shout out. (That and lets face it, stoats and other mustelids never get the recognition they deserve, as I have discovered). Having seen his sketches and traditional works I usually would pour over them looking at the intricacies and details put into them, and one can easily get lost within the worlds he puts to paper. However, it isn't just visual. His short stories are is if he has painted with words - always enjoyable and again, easy to get lost in the worlds he has created with his descriptiveness and originality.
This isn't to say there are other great individuals within the fandom, however these are individuals I wanted to give a shout out to - for now. - YAOI

How to Shut Down a Cashier in Today's Day N' Age
Posted 9 years agoI am probably one of the few people left that actively pays cash for everything.
I bought a wallet with a change pocket in it for this very reason - I love giving exact change or getting close to it.
Now something I have noticed is how hard it is for many cashiers anymore to process actual math.
If I cannot pay the exact amount, I pay (if able) enough to round it out to the nearest dime or nickle. And example is if you're bill comes to $4.49 - I will usually give a $5 bill and four pennies to get back 55 cents - two quarters and a nickle.
Lately the common theme is being handed back my clinky change as they process the bigger bill and give me even more pennies, ask me why I would even give them clinky change and then proceed to argue with me that the big bill is sufficient to which I retort with some thing called -oh I don't know -"logic", and today was a new one as I stopped for a bottle or water.
I broke the poor kid behind the counter.
My bill was like $1.98 and I gave him two dollars and 3 cents and he just stared at the bills, then the three pennies and continued to do so in what I can only describe as waiting for a divine intervention - until the smoke started pouring out of his ears and I had to explain to him that he is to give me back a nickle, and not two pennies.
This confused him more until he actually put the totals into the register and then smiled when my math was correct and he gave a relatively innocent, "Aaaahhhh...!"
We're a doomed society....

Posted 9 years agoI'm researching vehicles at the moment and for some reason or another ended up reading reviews and research on minivans.
I discovered that Kia was one of the last manufacturers to offer an ash tray (and lighter!) built into the dash console of their minivans... UNTIL 2014!
More so from lack of updating the vehicle from it's initial conception in the early 2000's, however you can't help have the fleeting thought:
"Despite the political incorrectness of today's world... that probably was a *HUGE* selling point for stressed out mothers everywhere. "

Clothes Shopping Can Be Hard On Men Too
Posted 9 years ago Today I was out thrift shopping trying to find some decent outfits when it hit me like a ton o' bricks; women have to work tirelessly to find clothes that don't overly sexualize them - AKA: find clothes that aren't "slutty."
Well today I discovered the male equivalent! All you need is a black under shirt, a frayed A&E t-shirt and tattered looking jeans with a "cool" pinstripe design on the ass encased with enough rhinestones to make you king of the Provincetown Biker Bar.
I'm sorry, but not every man wants to go out dressed like a spikey haired I-Hit-My-Girlfriend-Bum-Smokes-From-My-Friends-Mom-Pays-For-My-Gas-My-Car-Has-No-Muffler-'MAGA!'-I'm-Totally-"Jersey Shore"-Though-I'm-From-Delaware DOUCHE NOZZLE.
So I settled for what can only be described as "maternity jeans" and retreated back into the ethers.

Yaoi Buys a New Car - Gets an Unexpected Fan Club
Posted 9 years agoSome cars that you buy will sometimes have people, enthusiasts or general admirers, coming up to you to talk about the vehicle of which you have purchased.
Some cars are so popular they might as well have a cult following, for instance, my coworkers and their Minis. Hell, if you drive a Mini and pass someone else in a Mini, you're supposed to wave. That's some L. Ron Hubbard level shit right there.
Yet some people buy cars that are so utilitarian they might as well be a toaster and that is the point; only psychotic people will really care and an example would be my 1998 Toyota Camry and the only person to come up and comment me on it made me wish I had bought some pepper spray... or better yet, mace.
Well..... I didn't think buying a stereotypical "old persons" car (A 2003 LeSabre "Presidential") would mean I would get attention and I can assure you it wasn't my intention.
First time was I had just bought it, was putting gas in it an elderly gentleman with a leather jacket and a Vietnam Veterans cap came up to ask me about it, but all I could truly focus on at the time was the -10F wind chill making my balls slowly work their way into my chest cavity.
Second time I was bringing my mother out of a doctors appointment and as I'm loading her, and then her walker into my new Land Yacht of the Early Bird Specials an elderly man walks up to comment on how great Buicks are and is asking me how I'm liking it. I'm giving him short but precise answers as I am bouncing between him and my mother who was now working her way into an asthma attack from laughing so hard when I mentioned to her, "Wow... he's the second guy to comment on this thing...."
However, today marks the third time in about two weeks an OAP came up to me to talk about my "Beautiful Buick", this time as I was loading the passenger seat up with some ordered Chinese food steaming its way through their paper bags.
Today was a lovely German woman named Rose who adored "Oversized American saloons," especially ones with the "Cloth tops and bench seats," and then went on to tell me the only redeeming feature of her Subaru was the AWD and how she and her husband didn't know "Just how much they would miss their Oldsmobile."
In all honesty, I love meeting new people. I just didn't know my car would be a magnet for some truly colorful people.

I called Ludvig one day and told him I was picking up lunch. I proceeded to ask, "Do you want to eat at your place... ermine?"
Why did the letters of the alphabet have to "P"? They drank too much "T".
I went to Canada once. I found their humor to be quite cold.
Before you head out, always ask yourself, do you have your spectacles, testicles and do you look respectable?
I met up with my friend who happens to be a flag. I said 'Hello," but he never responded, just waved.
Remember when a web was a spider's home, a mouse ate cheese, and if you had a 3 and 1/2 inch floppy, you never told anyone??
"Barney, stop eating my Pebbles!" Would have a completely different meaning in later years....
I met up with a friend of mine who happens to be a chimney. After a while he asks me, "Hey, wanna smoke?"
Candles aren't very smart, in truth they can be very dim.
Growing up and having tried gymnastics, "The Nutcracker" had a totally different meaning.
Taco Cat spelled backwards is... well... Taco Cat.
I remember when I was a server for a while. Someone came up to me to complain saying there was a hair in the salad. I had to go back and politely inform the patron that it in truth, was actually a rabbit.
When someone starts complaining, just go up and ask them: "Want some cheese to go with that whine??"
Ok, I think I'm done.

Fursona Meme stolen from Gazpacho
Posted 11 years agoI stole this meme from

What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
I dunno, I just picked a tiger out of the blue. My mind immediately went to "TIGER." After so many years, I think me being a tiger is hear to stay.
Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
I do wish I were thinner, yes. My fursona is more who I want to be, I guess from a physical stand point. Minus the smoking. I'm glad I quit smoking.
I however did base Yaoi a bit off of the late Hunter S. Thompson. Granted if he knew a furry based a character off of him I'm sure he'd be rolling in his grave.
Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
I did base Yaoi off of me a little bit. I am a writer by trade. I am sarcastic, dry with my humor. Yaoi is too. Yaoi I would say is more my internet personality mixed with a small sprinkling of who I am in real life.
Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Obviously not. Yoai likes to smoke. I do not.
Does your fursona look like you at all?
OH GOD I WISH. I wish I was thinner. But alas, I am too lazy for my own good.
Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
Yep!
Do you have more than one main fursona?
I entertained the thought for a short while. However, I thought it was a silly idea and it never really came to fruition.
Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
No... should I?
Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Sadly no. Yaoi and myself are both single.
If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
Yaoi is a bachelor so to speak. I am swinging from man to man, but will stick with the right one when he shows up :)
Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
He wears gawdy amounts of purple. He has a cigarette holder, a purple trench coat, and purple glasses. I don't think so. :-P
Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
I do, and I just want to give a shout out to the artists that have done work for me. I am and will forever be grateful. THANK YOU GUYS, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
Tiger man is here to stay, folks.
If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
No. I'm not big into the fursuitting thing,
Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?
Hahahahaha! Of course! I love RPing.
Do you consider your main fursona to be a part of you in any way?
I admit, he is merely a pawn in this game called "Cyber Space"
Is there anything else you'd like to know about my fursona? If so, feel free to ask!

A WAAAAAYYYYYYY overdue update. Formy is comin' back to town
Posted 11 years agoDear Friends -
I know I've pretty much been dormant on here as of late. and what I mean by "As Of Late" i mean, a few years. A few very long and hard years.
I've spent 3 years grappling with unemployment, the last 2 helping my mother with a sudden degradation in her health, the last year helping her getting accustomed to being blind and the past 6 months struggling with what work I have had. Mix into that a year lost to dating a drunken, pot-riddled man child and you get my life.
Needless to say, none of this was a conducive environment to writing some short stories. By short stories, I mean smut.
However, I am now at a stable job where I can balance caring for my mother and work, and couple that with Santa Paws gracing me with a new computer that I DON'T have to share with anyone (yay... PRIVACYYYYY!!!!) I will be back onto the band wagon here before long.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Happy Chrismakwanzikah guys.

I've been a bad tiger. I have lost some motivation and I blame the crash of FA a while back. LOL.
Before the crash I could write smut like no ones business and had an urge to do it. Then the crash came along and I lost my motivation because I was actually forced to do something called... "sscchhooolll wooorrrkkk"
But anyways. I wish to write something for you, my fans, so please go ahead and leave some ideas and I'll pick up on what I feel I can mold neatly.
Like, a general character, a scenario, a guy humping a car.
ANYTHING
EXCEPT:
Scat
Vore
Water Sports
Inflation
Macro/ Micro
Keep it vanilla. I am a bland person.
