Foux is Now Known As TigsyKai

I want to apologize for the long time it took for me to get this account back and updated to let you all know I go by the new username of TigsyKai now. If you've been looking for me I took a break from furry art for awhile an posted other art and illustrations on Instagram and Facebook as TigsyKai.
This has been my new name for quite awhile now. For those unaware, I moved to Hawaii in 2015 after getting engaged in 2014 to the best person I've ever met, I am a very lucky lady to have him in my life. Now If you don't remember or know, Foux is the name of my main fursona and oldest fursona I kept as my main, and I wanted to be able to use a different name for ALL my art, not just furry styled art. I decided with all the great changes that were happening to me after such horrible dark times I was definitely in need of a happy refreshing new Username/Art handle. Something that I could easily fall in love with, identify with an be ok if I was to die being known under that name. A name I would want to keep forever onward as I grow old. TigsyKai is this name!
SO the story on how the name came to be is pretty simple I think. My darling love named Jaime started calling me his cute Tigsy. I am the sign of the tiger in the Chinese zodiac and I have collected tiger objects since I was a small girl, many of my tiger objects started out as childhood gifts. I also just absolutely adore tigers, they are one of my greatest loves and a symbol of my strength an other personality qualities. Anyone lucky to get close to me (cause I don't easily share my personal space with strangers or people I don't know deeply) would undoubtedly see inside my bedroom the wall to be covered with images of the tiger, a tiger calendar, a tiger wall scroll...faux tiger striped fur blankets along with super soft tiger mural comforters on the bed. In shelfs little knick knacks, old tiger toys old tiger plush/stuffed animals,and tigers in my jewelry as well as most obvious tigers in my artwork.
Besides having the tiger as my chinese sign I was often told I was cat-like, said to have cat like eyes, said to be cute an adorable as a cat, playful and shy like a cat, graceful in my dancer moves like a cat. Maybe even naughty like a little manx! Before long, kitty nicknames became tigsy, tiggy, tiggles.
Now you could be wondering why Kai? Also simply to put, When Jaime called me Tigsy I called him my Bunny, as rabbit was of course his Chinese sign. I often called him my Jai, my Bunny Jai. My real name is Kimberly, it in no way is Hawaiian, but without even thinking much we took the first letter of my name to match his and there was born the nickname of Kai. He was my Bunny Jai and I was his Tigsy Kai. Later I researched what Kai meant, and it indeed was a nice Hawaiian name. I was happily surprised it matched me so well. In Hawaiian the word Kai means "The Sea/Ocean, or Ocean water." I thought to myself, how perfect, It's like calling me the tiger of the sea, which was my new path in life, since I was moving from Nevada to Hawaii. It was perfect for the new found me.
The name Kai is not just hawaiian, it is used in many different cultures and each language had a great meaning attached. I am happy to share the other meanings that the name Kai has...
In Japanese, Kai has a number of meanings, including "ocean" (海), "shell" (貝), "restoration" and "recovery". As a surname, it means "Worth" (甲斐). It can also mean "forgiveness."
In Navajo it means "willow tree."
In Basque, kai is a common word meaning "pier of a harbour" and a variant of the first name Kaio (from the old Latin name Caius, meaning "happy").
In Burmese, kai means "strong" or "unbreakable".

Posted 18 years agoI dunno why but i'm just not seeing a future in drawing furries anymore, I have trouble drawing them lately... I feel more pressure to draw other things, that are better off taking me to the career in graphic art I wish to have.. *sigh* anyone else go thru this?

Draw a picture of my character Foux! you are free to put her in any outfit,
any surroundings, any pose you see fit. Please do try to be considerate, I don't want a picture of Foux dead or being eaten alive, nothing like that, no vore, she's a friendly little catfox mix so the scene wouldn't fit her personality. You are allowed to draw her nude and can be sexually suggestive if you want, but keep in mind, she's a bit shy.
Important notes: In trades I've done, people usually make her ears not big enough, so be aware she has Fennec fox ears, so their gonna be big. At the top of her ears are tufts similar to what you'd see on a lynx's ears, even tho she has no lynx blood in her.
Her tail is fluffy and long, she could hide under it...

Well hey guys guess what I really want stuff of Foux, cause seriously NOONE ever draws her for me so thats right, I'm holding a Foux CONTEST!! It's really really simple!! omgggg.
So here's how this will go down.
What you need to do to enter:
Draw a picture of my character Foux! you are free to put her in any outfit,
any surroundings, any pose you see fit. Please do try to be considerate, I don't want a picture of Foux dead or being eaten alive, nothing like that, no vore, she's a friendly little catfox mix so the scene wouldn't fit her personality. You are allowed to draw her nude and can be sexually suggestive if you want, but keep in mind, she's a bit shy.
Important notes: In trades I've done, people usually make her ears not big enough, so be aware she has Fennec fox ears, so their gonna be big. At the top of her ears are tufts similar to what you'd see on a lynx's ears, even tho she has no lynx blood in her.
Her tail is fluffy and long, she could hide under it...
She likes to wear collars, stuff with bells and bows.

Artists who think their too good to respond to you
Posted 18 years agoYou know what pisses me off? When other artists think their too good or something to respond to your questions (One simple question!) and just fucking ignore you, and it's clear that their ignoring you because they answer other people and are posting new artwork. I know some of you would say we'll it's cause their popular and busy, but seriously after sending a note, making comments on artwork and on the the main page, my one simple question (about commission price) is still unanswered, it really bugs me! I will not name the artist but it bugs me!
FUCKIN PISSES ME OFF and I lose respect for that artist and ultimately don't want to commission them any longer een if i like their artwork alot.

Posted 18 years agoIn response to all that posted on my journal titled 'Suicide Girls" Suicide girls is a site many consider softcore porn, in my opinion tasteful artistic nudity. So Why did i ask? I wanted to see what the furry community thought about them. Well, I sent out an app (kind of out of curiousity if they would like me or not) believe it or not they did. I have heard many stories of SG girls being mistreated and that scares me but I still want to give it a shot, see how it goes...if by any time I get uncomfortable/don't like the way things are going I will withdraw.
They emailed me back and told me I was perfect for their site and now would like to see me submit a set, pretty crazy thing for me to jump into since for one thing Ive never even flashed anyone on my webcam. Lol.
