Coming Soon: The Guardian Cycle
Posted 6 years agoIt's been six years of working on writing, editing, and world building, but finally the first book from my lore "The Guardian Cycle" is coming soon. I've got copyright filing and some paperwork with my publisher in the works right now, but in the next week or two "The Guardian Cycle" will be available for retail via Amazon! I'll be posting when the the book is out. If anyone has questions feel free to ask! Whether it be about lore, pricing, or other, I'm happy to answer!
I am no longer doing public art
Posted 7 years agoOver the past two years that I have been doing artwork and commissions, I have grown only more and more irritated with this fandom. People are far to cheap, and even when artists charge prices that are inhumane towards themselves, people still do not buy. If you don't charge about 1/12 of minimum wage, people will not buy the art no matter the quality.
On top of this people do not listen when it is started that someone does not do NSFW artwork, and just spam inboxes full of porn.
So no, I will no longer be doing artwork. No requests, no trades, no commissions. All artwork from this point will be my own.

A SFW discord server
Posted 8 years agoFor anyone who’s interested, I have a completely SFW discord server. I’ve got a trusted team of admins, and a fairly small community at this point, but I encourage you to join!
So many of the discord servers available within this fandom fixate solely on nsfw content, and degrade into purely that. I wanted to create a discord server that won’t do that, where people can share jokes, talk about games, share artwork, and have a good time.
If you join, just let me know if you’d like a roll as a anime fan, and snoot booper, or if you’re a normal person. Everyone is welcome, so long as you keep it clean. (Swearing IS allowed, just as long as everything isn’t a curse)

About the delays
Posted 8 years agoHey, I wanted to say sorry for my lack of activity, both on the site, and with art overall. I have not been in a good place lately, and am trying to get back to a place where I feel able to do anything. I'm sorry for delays, and I thank you all for sticking with me through this.
Contest!
Posted 8 years agoOkay, so I've been debating whether of not I was going to do this, and I decided I will. As a little kind of celebration for my first book's release, I'm going to have a contest. I'll have everything about it below.
Entries:
Because this is a contest as a celebration for the release of "The Guardian Cycle", the entries are to have the theme of the story, and thus should be related to the characters. Submissions can be done in any medium, and I will judge them based on the quality and effort (if you do traditional, take the picture in a bright setting, but not so much as the wash out the work). I've used quite a number of mediums, so I can judge it fairly well.
Submission:
Please email all submissions to foxglove01@outlook.com, with the subject contest. I'd also appreciate it if you'd put the username you go by on furaffinity, so that I can send you a note, and tag you you. (If you (for some reason) choose to do an NSFW picture, I will not be able to post it, so, be aware (basically, no genitalia))
Subject:
I'd like this to be of the characters from the book. Now, this ranges from Kenzi and Seker, to Azerim or Selomane (all on the cover of the first book, characters I've not drawn will require contacting me directly, so I can hook you up with a description).
Prizes:
First prize will be a fall or winter themed picture, fully done in digital, with a background and sky (the picture "Autumn" on my wall is a good example of the quality of work you can expect)
Second place will be one of the quirky little stickers I normally do for my Patrons, and/or a fully colored and shaded head shot/badge)
(there may be some delay on getting these made, but they will get done, never the less)
Submission deadline:
I will be closing the submission period on October 31st, giving a little over a month for work time.
I will also add that all submissions (that are SFW, and look like at least a little effort was given) will be posted on my pages across all my profiles.
The pictures at the top are ones of the characters from "The Guardian Cycle". (the summer arctic fox, and the white fox with red are both Kenzi, just from different points in the story)

I've slaved over this book for a little over a year now, and am happy to see it finally available for the public to get their hands on. FurGather - A growing site for furs
Posted 8 years agoSo, this is a really underrated site, granted it's fairly new, and still undergoing a few changes, but it provides a decent community, and, as of right now, you don't really see more than 12 people online at a time, which is a shame. A lot of the family from FurNation (which shut down several months ago) came over to this, so there is quite a few friendly people (maybe one or two of the less than savory kind, but oh well), and a hands-on staff. I'd highly recommend it.
Now, obviously, I'm not trying to detract from other sites, but there are features that FurGather provides, such as messaging, a live chat system, small groups, and a lot more, that it has, making it a wonderful way for furs to meet up, and share things in a more casual way.

Posted 9 years agoI want to apologize to everyone I'm doing art for, both on here and on other sties, for the delay. I've been caught up in a lot of crap as of late, so things may still take some time. For continuity sake, here's the list of the pictures I need to do, and in the order in which I plan o do them:

3) Sigma Dunset (Google+)

This will take up the end of October, and most likely run into November, so I will have requests closed until the start of December.
For December, I will be doing Christmas related pictures, or I might do one large picture for the holidays, which would become my new channel art. Let me know which I should do (I'll put a poll up on sites that have that option, if they don't, just drop a comment.)

- please don't ask for comics, or transformation, or NSFW
- I'd prefer original characters, I've no interest in getting tangled up in pop culture
- if you post it, you need to give me credit
- if you make a request, please stay in contact with me. I tend to ask a lot of questions
- Preferably no mutilation, dismemberment, candy gore, etc.
- Do NOT ask for multiple pictures at once, over time is fine, but the multi-requests are kind of an insult. (I have a life as well!)
On the subject of how many I will do, I will do two or three in a month, and if I finish those before the end of the month I might allow more. I'll take 1 from google, 1 from FA, and 1 from FN, tumblr, and everywhere else. *This is first come first serve*.
I am open to art trades, so feel free to ask. I also reserve the right to say "no" to any request if I don't feel I am up to it (which is most likely not going to happen all that much).

- Head and torso
- Full body
- Multiple characters (up to 3 in one pic)

Requests Closed and My Plan

Starting in September, I will do one request per week. (Please don't ask for comics, transformation, NSFW, or other thing similar to these) These are REQUESTS, so they are free. Depending on what you ask for, it might take a while to complete.
