I just wanted to pop in and thank all my loyal watchers for your patience. I apologize for the lack of artwork lately. I just finished moving from Alaska to Maine and I am working on finding a home for all my things, get going in my new job and get trained so I can start focusing on college classes. I am hoping I can start back up on some drawings and commissions here soon. I have been really down lately and want to work on some things. Thank you all for being so patient!!

So I'm sure everyone has noticed the bombardment of journals and postings going on about how everyone is leaving FA....... I haven't the slightest idea as to what is going on. I appreciate and love all my watchers here and I'm really working to build some friendships so I would hate to see so many people leave :( If you are one of my few watchers that are leaving I'll put a few links where you can find me elsewhere. Just let me know so I can watch you back at the new site ya? I'm working on updating my other sites here soon. I just recently created a Weasyl account so don't worry if my art is missing, I'll get it up there shortly. FA will still be my first and main site for posting work, unless I hate the new updates, but I will do my best to check the other sites often and keep them up to date! What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
-My favorite animal is a wolf so I decided that would be best for me. I'm spiritual and to me a wolf symbolizes protection and a strong sense of family and commitment.

Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
- I try to make him as close to me as possible. I can't say that it's exact but pretty damn close. At times I make him what I wish or want to be.

Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
- A little more outgoing in certain aspects but otherwise yes!

Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
- .......Uh...yeah?? (kinda repetitive)

Does your fursona look like you at all?
- Well, I don't exactly have a tail or a perfectly tone body (close and working on it BTW) but he definitely has a lot of resemblances and his clothes do match what I actually wear.

Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
- Yes. I have a few gender bender picks of him, but I want to relate myself to him lol.

Do you have more then one main fursona?
- Nope! I have quite a few adoptable characters that I am trying to bring out more, but Frost is my main sona. Though in the Fall around October, Jack my HalloFox gets pretty close.

Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
- It slowly builds over the years, more to resemble and build a back history similar to my own, but to be honest he was just a wolf I came up with when I first joined the fandom.

Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
- No T~T I did a few adult pics with him in courtship but he nor myself are mated :( But if I find someone down the road then I see him possibly having a certain special someone in his life.

If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
- I guess you could say yes and no. He is looking for a loving mate, but a swinger on rare occasions.

Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
- Of course! It's not what a character looks like necessarily, but how we put ourselves "into" who they are. Though I haven't seen many blue wolves with lightning bolts as markings and a brown muzzle.

Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
- Oh yes quite a few! Some that I do, and anytime I find the artists I really like with an open slot, I try to get him in :)

Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
-Never never never no way in heck. I built him like me. (fruity quote ahead) To give him away is to give away part of me. I couldn't see him try and switch with another persons interests. I don't even think he will be replaced or pushed on the back burner. He is too cool like that XD

If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
- I do!! I haven't had a chance to suit with him yet but I plan to when I move! Haven't decided if I like suiting or not, so whether I continue after the first is another question.

Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?
- I have but it wasn't really full on RP. I'm not really into RP because to me it makes me want to turn away from the life I am living. The life I was given, and although it would be cool to live in a side universe I want to focus on what I have.

Do you consider your main fursona to be a part of you in any way?
- Yeah. To me he is not only my sona, but has become my guide. When others look down on me for being a furry I just ignore it and continue to enjoy my imagination lived out through him!

So because I'm in the military I will be moving sometime in June! I got my orders the other day and it looks like my new home will be Southwest Harbor Maine. I'm really going to miss it here in Kodiak Alaska. It was a beautiful area and I got to work with a fantastic group of people. I'm looking forward to going back to the lower states and hopefully getting a chance to meet some new furs in person and actually be able to afford travel and go to a con. If anyone happens to be in that area let me know! I'm still looking up the area to see what it's like and all there is to do there and any help would be fantastic.

So I have been really busy at work and shifted hobbies again for a little bit. I was working on a little side project with a friend and then I ended up putting the requests on hold again. I should be getting back to working on them tomorrow so I can open the list up again. I think I just have one more to work on before that happens. I'll be posting a journal when I open for requests again so keep an eye out!! I also want to thank the rather surprising increase in watchers that I got recently *holy cow* I was a little shocked because I haven't been doing all that much work, let alone something watch worthy >__< Thank you guys soooo much! It means a lot to a hobby artist like me that just doodles in my free time.

On a side note I do have a question for my watchers. How many of you actually look at the art that is posted under your submissions notifications? When artists you watch post something, how many of you take the time to look at them? I know I don't always favorite a piece or comment on one, and it sometimes makes me feel guilty to delete the submission. I do try and look at all the art, but how do you guys go about it? Do you just look at it, or comment, or fave, or save to your computer? Just trying to get an idea really. Thank you again to all my faithful watchers!!

Finally (after much arguing and throwing of stuff at UPS) got my tablet in! I wanted to upgrade to a Cintiq 13HD now that I had some mullah. I thought it might help me if I could look at what I am drawing. It may take a little time to get used to but now I have the motivation and desire to continue working on my request list! Thank you patient people!! I hope you won't be disappointed!!!!

(I do work off of references a lot better than pics though) It's first come first serve so if you miss it this time around there will be more slots later once I finish these! I will not draw adult theme artwork,(I haven't practiced drawing sex parts) Excessive vore, religious or racial slurs, offensive gestures, or extreme fetishes. I work full time and drawing is only a hobby for me, so turn-around times will vary and may take some time. I haven't drawn a lot of different characters so some species and designs may take longer than others to finish. I don't like putting crappy work out so I may take some extra time to get it right. I do send WIP's via email if it's provided and requested. (Emails are not shared or stored and are promptly deleted after the finished project is sent) DO NOT post any WIP's I send you as they don't represent my finished work, however feel free to keep them on your computer for personal use. I will send 2 versions of the picture when I finish them. One original size for your personal use, and one resized for posting on websites. If you would like a specific size please tell me before I start. All my work has a copyright signature on them that is not allowed to be removed in anyway. If you think it is distracting to your picture I will move it. I appreciate credit when posted on the web, though it is not required. I will not draw other copyrighted characters without the owners consent unless it is for a surprise gift, in which I will discuss as it comes up. I hold the right to refuse any artwork or idea that I am not comfortable drawing. Hey everyone, sorry for the absence lately. I just got back from a much needed trip home to see my family and my younger brother graduate High School. I had a great time. Got to go Zip Line through the trees at an awesome place in Durango Colorado and a Jeep rental 4WD trip in Ouray CO as well. I dd manage to get a little practice work in.

So! For the main reason why I am sending out this journal.......I will be opening for requests here soon! I have my first request ever on this site that I am currently working on for  FoxyDarkWolf and once his is finished I would like to open for a couple more. I have been working on canines of my character for so long that I would like to branch out and experience drawing other species and characters. I think it will be good practice and help spread my name as a hobby artist. Practice leads to improvement! And maybe some day I can be happy enough with my work to do commissions.

I will probably open up for 3-4 requests at one time and work on them as I can. I will send out an "officially open" journal when it comes time! Just comment here if you would be interested. It won't be official, just an idea to see how many people would like one......and how many actually pay attention to the stuff I post ;) lol.

Rules of thought for that time: Because I am only a hobbyist artist I can't spend all of my time on artwork and at times hardly at all. I do like to mix up my schedule, and it may be a little while before I get you WIP's or finished artwork. However that doesn't mean I take many months. If I do....yell at me. Some creatures and designs I haven't done before so it may take me longer to work with it, until I get it the way I like. If I'm going to make a name for myself, I can't do requests half-a**. I usually will do flat color pictures with 1-2 characters and depending on whether or not I have a good idea, I will attempt a background. I will also at times try working on shading as that is my biggest weak point, next to anatomy. I will have a full TOS and whatnots later. :3

Oh my god, I forgot how long it has been since I have posted anything new or made a journal......SO!

I have been really busy at work and trying to get started with my college classes. I also admit that I have been spending a lot of time on my other hobbies to balance them out. I am working my around and I am back to drawing again. I have a picture I am currently working on for the holidays as well as some improvement memes so I can see how far I have come. After a year I have to say I am very happy with the improvements I have made. With so many awesome people I have had the pleasure of meeting here and helping me out with tips and tricks to improving my work, I am truly grateful. I want to thank each and every one of my watchers too! It makes me feel like I want to keep working at it and improving when others like to see my work. I know I don't post much but thank you all soooooo much!

Hey everybody,
I apologize for being so quiet lately. I have been stuck out here in St. Paul for about a week and I won't be leaving until later this afternoon. I actually won't even be home until tomorrow, but I did manage to get in a few sketches that I will probably upload and then move to scraps once I ink and color them. I didn't bring my tablet because my laptop is a Mac and can't run SAI. And there weren't any scanners and I hate taking pictures or my stuff with a camera so I can't upload them here. Just letting you all know that I should have a few pieces to post as soon as I get home!

So I have recently taken a notice to a lot of Flash icons and art and I was wondering if anyone knew someone who could get me started on working with this type of media. I really want to learn how make flash art, but I am having trouble finding a good program and tutorials on how to make them. If you could send me a link to someone who can do this that would be so awesome!!!
