So apparently we have to write these report things about AC? or they're expected. well my AC 2010 was probably one of the happiest weekends in my life. I met so many new people, and actually got along with all of them! so many inside jokes developed that i feel like we're running out of closet space for all of these, and we'll have to start moving some boxes to the basement. I regret not saying hi to several of my favorite artists, becuase i do admire their work, and would have loved to tell them in person :) i also feel that if given more than five seconds time with them i'd have ker-sploded from fangasm'ing too hard. x3

Hung out with Stray, Deg, Kall, FW, Pilot, Chubs, Ryken, Jir, SD, Dimi, Bendor, Suni and a bunch of people they know.

roomates included Mustoshi, Mordekai, Landis, Anya, and Lodoss and JHuskey (both of them only stayed for a night, first and last night respectively)

One thing pittsburgh needs to realize is that i'm thirsty after 6pm. I need beverages from Dunkin' Doughnuts, but none of the stores/resteraunts are open past 6.

i slept randomly in other people's rooms :P particularly on their beds.

never really witnessed people that were intoxicated before this weekend. Interesting to say the least.

I need to bring more money and less snacks next time :3 see you all next year~!

So i just finished highschool. Finally! I feel so relieved. Now i'm just waiting for AC to start my summer off right before i head over to Athens Ohio to attend Ohio University. I'm super psyched. :)

So, i haven't been dead. Just playin' lots of TF2 and spring breakin' and whatnot :3 Gettin' over some stupid stuff, the largest of the stupid stuff being HIGHSCHOOL. Went to visit Ohio U, and had a blast. I wish i could start the fall semester in 5 minutes ago, cause i just want to be there! it's gonna be cool.

i'm sick today :( sick as a dog. That phrase never made sense to me, but if i had to equate sickness with some animal, i suppose it would be a dog. Mine tends to get sick a lot at least, but he also has seizures :( i wish i was in the mood to draw.

Many of you may/maynot be familiar with XKCD. the author of this comic usually includes humor involving tech/computers/programming/intelligence/velociraptors/other such topics. I have been a part of the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) program, for 3-4 years now, and this is by far the coolest thing to have happened in relation. Each year we get a challenge around January 3rd (this year however it was released on the 10th) and we have 6 weeks to design/build/ship a robot that meets the design requirements. We compete at regionals with other teams to hopefully be placed high enough to get a ride to internationals. This year the game is soccer based, and I fell out of my chair when i saw this because i knew all my robotics friends (who also read XKCD) would be laughing just as hard as i was to be able to see and understand where this simple comic had gotten its inspiration :]

Just went and saw my [SUPER-SEXY] friend play for the Orchestra in something called Copacabana. If you are unfamiliar with it, it's a musical. I was unaware, but i love musicals so it's okay :3 Now i'm conteplating acting instead of Video Game Design. Maybe acting just as a side project of mine. I really enjoy the theater and be vocal/gestural. I've always wanted to play an evil character >:3 dunno. Seems like a cool idea, just dunno if i have time for it. I got accepted into college! maybe there'll be some acting club going on that i can check out.

here's my tangent/rant journal to prove that: i am still alive, i have enough motor skills to type/read, i have internet access (although it's not reliable)

Been feelin' pretty crummy as of late. Marching season is over, which means no more drumline. This also means i don't have to march around with an extra 45 pounds strapped to my front. Although I will miss it, it's been giving me plenty of problems. It's interfered with the already retarded robotics schedule, i had to suspend my job, and it's provided me with several months of working closely with people i've developed pretty strong feelings for, who i probably won't see a whole lot for the rest of the year. The same thing kinda happened last year, so i guess i should have seen it coming, oh well. Good news is i should be uploading some of my arts soon. I just finished a wrapped form piece in art class, and i have to say i'm quite proud of it :) i have a crappy picture of it that i'll upload tonight, hopefully i can try and get a better pic/scan it sometime this upcoming week.

so, i'm completely sore from dancing in a clown costume, kinda bummed about stuff. I need something to draw. Been working on a wrapped figure drawing in Adv D/P at school, that's lookin' all right. Hopefully i can get a quality picture of that and upload it. I know i've been dead for-ever. any suggestions? i dunno how technical i can get >:

Eggads! My art teacher (kindof a prick) assigned us a project, with 6 weeks worth of time (this was about two weeks ago). We have to draw a wrapped form, and spend all 6 weeks on it. ;___; i think i'm almost done and i have no idea how i'm supposed to spend four more weeks on an oblong shaped stick wrapped in cloth... hopefully i can get a picture/scan when it's done cause i'm liking the time i'm actually spending on getting the shading right, and i'm -hoping- my texturing is noticable, since we're only using pencil. I also learned that vinyl erasers > any other eraser. I know i haven't drawn anything in a while and that's cauuuuse, i've got less than zero time! :D hopefully i'll bust out the tabby here pretty soon and start cranking out some post worthy products :3

Yup Sunday, and my internet was down. For some reason even though the internet isn't connected to our phone line, the phone went down and so did our internet. I was without FA for several days D: But Yesterday i got a reaaaallly nice 21.5" monitor for my compy, and a nice High Def graphics card to go with it. :B it's purty, and i can get my display in 1920 x 1080 pixels which looks super cool |D

so tonight was easily better than the previous 'awesome night' i had. First me and a bunch of people were supposed to go see "Year One". But after picking up my friend Danny and going the wrong way on the highway TWICE, we ended up not making it there in time.

Best part was no one else showed up anyways.

So we were about to go home when i saw that The Hangover was playing in 5 minutes. So we went to see that.

Funniest movie i've seen in quite a while. We couldn't stop laughing. So a crummy night turned into a good one, until this horrible storm blew the power in the theater, so the movie stopped for about 20 minutes.

When it came back on it had no sound, and it was at the end. Eventually the situation was remedied and we saw the ending, and laughed hysterically, but now it was 12:30 and we needed to get home.

We decided to take some back roads cause it was raining really really hard, and the way the highways are over here, it's an accident happening before we decided to merge. So we took some backroads, and this HUUUGE TREE just kinda fell over earlier.

Danny and I flip on the emergency lights, hop out of the van, and are determined to move this gigantic tree.

Sadly we couldn't move it very much cause it was still rooted to the ground. But we managed to bend/snap most of it to clear a path for one car to go through at a time (by now there was a huge line of people going "wtf?!" and either staying to watch us try and move the tree, or turn around to find another way.

Needless to say, we felt like badasses, and good citizens. So we went home pretty happy and I finally get back to my place at around 1:20.

In other news, I was trying to find some music for a Ms.  DonCass and could not find the one song she wanted >: to compensate for my failure i gave her some almost equally amazing music. But apparently failure is rewarded by art these days cause she says she's gotta draw me something now x3 even though i explained she doesn't need to. But apparently she wants to <3 so now i feel all modest and stupid, but at the same time i should not look a gift horse in the mouth. (even though she's not a horse :B)  DonCass please slap me if i ever refuse your art again because stupidity is not an excuse for denying oneself of SUPER AMAZING PICTURES! and i mean seriously. Even if it's while we're at AC next year eating chicken and drinking mountain dew like we said we would.



If you can't tell.... i'm tired

So I originally intended on having a coupla guys over at about 3 so we could all head to Cici's pizza (where we all used to go for events and whatnot) and nobody was interested in going at 3 so i changed it to 6 minus the Cici's, and mostly everyone showed up for some video gaming fun. Then we called one guy to ask where he was, and he said "we're on our way" which meant he was bringing his girlfriend :\ we didn't mind it was just kinda odd. So after everyone showed up and playing some Brawl and Time Splitters, we all went downstairs for some of the giant cookie i had bought prior to the party. Then we went outside in the backyard... bad idea. Some of them started wandering into other people's yards and hiding, it was very awkward. Then we got back inside and my friend Danny started playing the piano. After a while some people had to leave cause they had to get up early the following day, so with 5 people left we cracked open Pandemic to try and beat it. 5 Mountain Dews each later we were so wasted on caffeine that we were just laughing the whole time. My friend Colin never has soda, he doesn't like it. He had a Mountain Dew, and ended up getting really really hyper. He relieved himself in the middle of the street when going home...

I've been feelin' kinda down lately, probably all the sappy music i'm listening to. You'd figure a guy with a diverse taste in music would be able to listen to something upbeat. :I guess not. hehe. Anyways, because it's now summer, i've got a bunch more free time, when i'm not working/smelling like coffee. I plan on getting better at drawing by just uploading all my crap, logically if i get all the crap outa the way, then i'll be able to start drawing all the good stuff right? right.

So, this week i have many exams, and to relieve stress, it probably is not a good idea to 'not study'.... i've been distracted by a few things, primarily xkcd and all it's wonders. Also the fact that my music is restricted to my laptop. This should all change tomorrow. I will be getting my speaker/dockingstation/alarm clock for my Zune, and that means i will be able to study by my desk/ in my room, without the distraction of the computer. And after this week i'm taking a road trip, shortly followed by another road trip. I hope to get many sketches done, and scan them and whatnot when i get back :3

So, a balloon just popped up in the lower right hand corner of my screen, informing me that I am running out of space on my C:\ drive. I now have a time-limit for when I need to build my computer: Before I run out of disk-space. This is partially due to me not wanting to delete anything, being lazy. When I do build said computer, I will be playing many many many many many games, but i'm hoping to also work on drawings more as well. :3 If anyone has: Steam, free line-art, OC 1.1, other various programs related to either gaming and/or digital art, I would really like to get to know you better x3

Sketch book scans /should/ be coming soon... but there a bit sketchy (pardon the pun). I just don't think my sketchbook has anything good in it yet. All sketches worked on it it have probably taken about 5 minutes tops. so they're all mostly doodles.

Not much to say though.

I found my tablet :3 hopefully i'll start drawing on the computer soon. It's kindof a pain though, because my laptop sucks. Luckily, I now have steady income, so i am building my own computer :3 one that won't crash whenever i try to open photoshop.
