April Update
Posted 6 years agoHey guys! I haven't been active on FA for some time. Those of you who also follow me on Twitter might already know this, but my absence was for medical reasons. I had a thyroid cancer scare back in February, followed by surgery this past March. I have a follow-up treatment at the end of the month that will keep me away from my PC for roughly a week, but I'm thankfully back in drawing condition! It's been a surreal few months, but I'm glad to be settling back into routine life and getting my art back on track.
My new commission rates will finally go live this Easter weekend, which I'm excited about. On top of that, I opened my Patreon as well! You can find it here, if you would like to support my art. Right now, it's mostly just functioning as a tip jar, but once my treatment is out of the way, I'll be finishing up the tiers and goals to help include you guys in the process as I finally make full-time art a reality. As usual, you can also find me on Twitter @purplpuss and ask me anything on my Curious Cat profile.
I want to thank all of you so much for all the support you've given me over the years. I never expected to have such a bizarre start to 2019, but now that everything is stabilizing, I'm very happy to finally be able to commit myself to improving my art and getting you guys all the thick butts you deserve! I'll be uploading the art from my Twitter in sequence right after I post this journal for those of you who prefer to follow me here. I'm open to suggestions on where else to upload as well. Art Update

I’ve been posting less and my commissions have slowed down, but not without a reason! I’ve recently managed to get a full time job, and as such, have much less time to draw than I used to.
I’d love to draw that often again, but I’m totally destitute financially and have student loans to pay, so this is just something that I have to do for now.
For those of you that are receiving commissions from me, don’t worry! They are being worked on, but the pace of progression has slowed somewhat because of my tighter schedule.
I will still be able to take future commissions, but I will have less slots available to ensure I don’t have people waiting more than a week or so. I have about four I’m working on right now, so it will be a bit.
I’ll still be posting art, so don’t worry about me dying! It’s my dream to support myself entirely with my art, but my financial needs are too dire for that at the moment. I need the security of a full-time.
So that’s all! I just really need to save up some money. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for all the support you guys have given me. You’re all great! I promise to keep on drawing no matter what.

Millions of years ago I posted some preliminary commission info for whenever I decided to open them proper.
So uh, they're open! I've uploaded an info sheet that has all the important information on it. You can view it here
You can get in touch with me via FA, tumblr, or my e-mail address if you would like to discuss a commission. If reserving one, have an e-mail address ready for me and you're set! Paypal is used for all transactions.

Commissions Opening and the Rest of Inktober

After an eternity, I've decided to open up commissions! Perhaps I want to really start to take art seriously, or maybe I'm just completely broke. Who knows? That's part of the mystery.
To start with, I'll have 5 slots available for commissions, with one already being reserved. That's four up for grabs as of this writing!
I'll fill out the details soon, but just to get some numbers out there:
$10 will get you a nice, monochromatic doodle
$20 will make it into some touched up line art
$30 will introduce the wonders of flat color
$50 will make you the proud owner of shaded color
Detailed backgrounds and multiple characters are up to discussion!
If you'd like to reserve a commission slot, send me a message at fluffyfrumples@gmail.com to discuss specifics. Make sure to check with me before sending money. I will only accept PayPal!
As for the rest of Inktober, real life interrupted my steady flow of drawings. I'll still be working at it though! It will just be Ink-vember at this point.
