I don't think of myself as one, but I draw anthropomorphic animals and sometimes use one to represent myself, so there's really no point in saying "BUT NO SERIOUSLY YOU GUYS I'M NOT ACTUALLY A FURRY."

why would anyone be in a relationship with me that is a ridiculous concept
*How long have you been in the community?
Uhhh two months? I created my ~fursona~ about two years ago, but I was still in a LOL FURRIES mindset, so I only drew her ironically haha wow what a hipster.
*How did you find furry?
Seventh grade: "hey look at these funny weirdoes on the internet who draw anthropomorphic animals DOING IT"
*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
I like animals and interesting character designs.

Bestiality. Also, I wish people would realize that furries aren't always sexual, and that even when people draw ~adult furry art~ they don't always talk about it ridiculously. YIFF ^_^ TOUCH MY PAW *PURRS*
*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
I don't identify with the community that much, so it doesn't make me go OH BOO HOO :( but I do get a little annoyed because much of what people say isn't true (see above).
*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
I would probably laugh. "Oh, I see you're drawing yourself as a bunny! Are you like those people on [CSI/The Tyra Banks Show]?"
*We all know furries have alot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
I'm not that fond of furry erotica (aka "the yaff"), but sometimes I enjoy it, although even then I feel like, "Man, that'd be a lot hotter if they were human." Most of the time I don't have much of an opinion about it - I just think, "Oh, more naked dog-people with boners." And sometimes it's hilarious.

Posted 16 years agoTomorrow is 24-Hour Comic Day, so starting at 12 a.m., I'm going to be making a 24-page comic. I haven't done anything of that length since I was 13-14 and drawing ~kawaii yaoi manga~ =^_^=. I'm not even going to attempt colors, but my goal is to get everything inked.
This is a really short and insignificant journal. I'm mainly trying to get the last one, which was really long, off my page.

Posted 16 years agoThis was a character meme that was going around a few weeks ago. I filled it out for my ~fursona~ (oh man I feel really awkward using that term but I don't know what else to call her).
1. What is your character's name? Theobroma Steinberg
2. What is your character's name in another language? THÉÖBROME NOMJUIF
3. How old is he/she? As a standalone character, I think she’s in her mid-twenties in people-years, but as an avatar of myself she’d be younger than that.
4. What is your character's race/species? snowshoe hare
5. Do they have a crush? dead fictional men
6. Do they have many friends? I think she has one (who is also one of my characters).
7. What planet is your character from? Earth, or some parallel version of it in which there are animal-people.
8. Does your character like to eat? No, she HATES IT, she has to force herself to eat just enough to stay alive
yes, she likes to eat. she's slightly overweight because of it.
9. What's his/her favorite food? FAT
10. What's his/her favorite drink? SUGAR
11. Is your character annoying? YES
13. Is your character loved? by her parents I guess :(
14. Is your character hated? This is the first time I'm really showing her to others, so not yet.

19. Is your character normal? My first instinct is to say no, just because she's an anthropomorphic hare. Strictly in terms of personally, I think she’s more withdrawn, neurotic, and introspective than average, but nothing outside of the normal range of human (or humanoid-animal) behavior.
20. Is your character attractive? I don't think so, but I think she's cute, because she's a bunny.
21. How does your character handle emotions? SHE CRIES A LOT and she tries to get people to hug her, also when she’s mad she is terrifying
22. Does your character have other forms? She has different coats for summer and winter. :>
23. Does your character overreact? yes, especially when desserts are involved or when she gets ~offended on the internet~ (hahaha oh wow)
24. Is your character a criminal? In her teenage years, she lied about her age on the internet to gain access to horrible pornography. ARREST HER, OFFICERS
25. Does your character go to school? I think she graduated from lagomorph-college, but I don’t know if she’s in graduate school. As an avatar of myself, she's an undergraduate.
26. What's his/her IQ? idk, she’s relatively smart but really absent-minded

28. Is your character dead? No, although that is the kind of thing I’d do, isn’t it. ZOMBIE HARE INVASION
29. Does your character have a family? Yes, but I haven’t designed them yet. I think she might have a half-brother who is part arctic hare and also a filthy communist, but I’m not sure right now.
30. Has he/she encountered any tragic times in life? She’s been very fortunate and hasn’t experienced real tragedy. Because of this, she takes her rich white kid problems too seriously. SHE CAN’T PLAY ONLINE GAMES BECAUSE SHE HAS A MAC, SOOO SAD OMG
31. What's the best time in your character's life? ONE TIME A BUNNY HUGGED HER and she has fond memories of going to the beach as a child.

33. Is your character single? In the past I considered having Pallas (my marsh rabbit character) be her girlfriend, but as a representation of myself, she is almost comically single. If she were any more single, she would own an anime bodypillow.
34. Has he/she developed any relationships? She has a friend, and she has good relationships with her parents, but she’s never been romantically involved.
35. Does she/he have an element? sodium and also chlorine; her elemental power is seasoning fried foods
