MFF and Street Fighter 4 Tournament.

Going to MFF next week, gonna be helping run the Open Video Gaming room on Thursday Night, then running the Street Fighter 4 Tournament on Saturday Night.
I'm still trying to debate on a prize. As of right now, if I cannot think of something decent, it'll be a GameStop (Even if you like them or not...) Giftcard worth 30 - 40 bucks.
Anywho, the Street Fighter 4 tournament will be limited in spots due to be being a 1 on 1 fighting game, not unlike Super Smash Bros where you can thin it down with 4 people at a time quickly.

One of my favorite artists ever since coming to the fandom. I got two commissions from this man, he was really humble and we talked quite a bit when we could over the internet.
His Lupin the 3rd style and the furry look behind it always made me smile, and his Ace and Queenie comic was wonderfully done.
I will miss him.

City of Villains and WoW
Posted 16 years agoI have gotten back into both again... though that will be quickly sidetracked by GhostBusters coming out soon... woo.. some Busting action.
I have been playing City of Villains more and more though, though I am working on multiple characters... one has really caught me. I call her Spoil of War...
I dunno why though, she's just so fun to play... and even more fun to look at while drawn out. :D

Posted 16 years agoHe wasn't a close friend... but he was a friend. We had a group of friends that, every morning in High School as well as during the Lunch hour.. we would play Magic the Gathering....
2 of the group died about 4-5 years ago, almost back to back. I hear today... another died yesterday (5/5/09) morning....

Posted 16 years agoAhh.. finally, no more High Fructose Corn Syrup... and now with REAL SUGAR! Hell yes. Now, I'm not saying soft drinks are healthy by any means, but this.. well.. is SO much healthier then what I've been drinking fro the last gazillion years.
The flavors ain't too far off, I think its a bit less sweeter, but in any case.. I'll be buying these instead of that crazy Mtn Dew.
This also has the REAL LOGO as well. Its Mountain Dew guys, not Mtn Dew. :P

Posted 16 years agoI'm not going to be faving anything for some time... I screwed up and somehow fried my motherboard. I cannot fix it, until my paycheck next week. By then I'll be able to afford the new board and new computer case... then I gotta build the thing myself once more.

Posted 16 years agoGot sickly about 2 am, woke up multiple times, went to work, left work early due to being sick, slept for 3 hours..

Posted 16 years agoI... reached a snapping point. I'm frustrated with everything.. I should be happy, I have a steady job, lots of electronics, good friends, but why do I feel so frustrated about everything!? My sister and brother are doing much better than I ever will. Brother is a Park Ranger, Sister is about to graduate with her art degree in the top of her degree, with a fully paid scholarship backing her. My older brother is in the same boat as me, degree in Biology but working in a Museum.
Here I am.... Assistant Manager at a GameStop, I used to enjoy this work, but now its stressing me out too much. I got a degree in Graphic Design. Didn't help. Fucking people didn't want to go out of their way to train someone, always - 2 to 4 fucking years of experience needed and no one wanted a internship. I was willing to work for FREE! FREE!!! Nope.. someone with more experience or better showed up. Tried a backway in through disney.. that didn't work either.
Only thing I can do now is get a degree in business and hope to shoot past the Manager stage and not have to deal with customers directly anymore. But I doubt that'll happen. People who have worked for the company for 10 years still havnt been promoted yet. I doubt I'll be able to get out of this anytime soon. Even if I save money I'll never get to do what I want to do.
I'm stuck.

First 10 matches or so I learned you cant play anyone that cant hit less then 3 hits per attack.
I've gone with Sakura, big time. She's got a fireball to counter ken/ryu's fireball. Her Hurricane Kick arcs at a angle to jump over them. And her Dragon Punch hits multiple times, even more so with EX (5 hits with Strong Punch, 8-9 hits with EX.)
Her Ultra/Super Combos are easy to pull off as well, as they hit low as well as high. Doesn't do much damage over all, but its enough.
Anyways, I'll be on there a lot more now that I figured out how to beat those guys.
Still having trouble with Blanka Spam though.. stupid electric zappy.

Posted 17 years ago3-5 inches of snow here in Southern Indiana, 2 inches of ice under it... businesses surrounding the mall are closed, yet they refuse to close. Despite the fact that everything is supposed to get worse as the day goes on.
