I do plan on watching the inauguration tomorrow, it'll be the first one I'm actually gonna care about watching.. despite the fact that tomorrow is a day that's probably gonna be in the history books for the rest of our lives as the first Black President takes office.

He is also going to be the first President to have his inauguration be declared a "State of Emergency." as well as the first President to probably have more than 10 assassination attempts on his life in the first year of being in office.. last I checked, he hasnt even taken office yet and he's had... 4-6 attempts/threats openly caught and prosecuted.... and he's just the presidential-elect.

Sheez.

I guess I need to watch CNN/Fox News online a bit more...

Well, its official... my 'holiday' retail job is over.. and its back into 'normal' retail job.

Actually, we're in recovery.. but its a good way to kill time when there's finally no customers to bother you. Still, two weeks after Christmas and my mind is still a puddle of mud like it was during the Holidays... might need to on my next day off, spend most of it in bed, do nothing but sleep... might help. Who knows.

Jus' need to feel recovered... anyways.

Gaming wise:

Back into WoW, don't want too.. want to play Warhammer, but everyone who told me they'd play, left and went back to WoW...... so... I followed em back cause I don't wanna play alone. So after a year clear off of World of Warcraft, I picked up the expansion and started leveling my warrior on my IRL bro's server. Bleh. I only really wanna do PvP....

Then I learned the other day at work.. FOUR games are coming out back to back. Three of which are on the same day... so I'm gonna have to drop one or two of them cause the game companies are jerks.

X-Blade - Looks interesting.. HORRIBLE Dubbing though.

OneCambria Bikini Zombie Slayer Squad - I'm wanting to buy this because IT IS BAD. Its sorta like a good B-movie. Just gotta collect it.

FEAR 2 - Staying reserved, no matter what. Can't stop me.

Street Fighter 4 - Same as above... I won't be as good in it as I am in Soul Calibur 4... but.. we'll see. GO CAMMY! :D

I think I'm gonna have to hold off on X-Blade and OneCambira.... Bleh....

For my first con, I had alot of Fun. :D

I'm not really hardcore furry, I like the art and I like the people, and I even roleplay some. I didn't know what to expect when I got to MidWest Fur Fest on Thursday night, I roomed with  CooperVulpaw and a coupla other of his friends.

First day of the con, I kinda just wandered around. People and Fursuit watching, as well as chatted with  Ignatius_husky and  tiberius both of which I was able to grab Con Badges and some commishes from both. SQUEE!

Also got to meet up with more artists and some really good friends, like  Despoiler :D

Also, I 'Finally' and I will say 'finally' was able to get a commission from  Maxblackrabbit which has been a LONG time goal in such a long. He's a nice person to talk to, I'm glad I got to meet him.

I also decided to Gopher a bit for the con, got in abotu 5-6 hours of con work in, the staff was awesome, and well.. I agree, MFF is one of the best cons for newcomers, due to its average size and mostly laid back atmosphere.

BTW: 2 the Ranting Gryphon and Uncle Kage... ROCK.... especially if they're drunk. XD

Well, the bane of my existence is now here.

Two weeks of games that I'm gonna buy, but not able to play fully due to the amount of them coming out.

Fable 2 and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia came out today. After much pondering, I played Fable 2 over Castlevania.. and now, after getting that over with, about to pop in Castlevania after 4 to 5 hours of Fable 2. (Also helps that people sleep in the same room as the gaming tv.. so gotta turn it off SOMETIME.)

Fable 2, as of right now, is awesome... MUCH better than the original and more fulfilling since MOST of the promises this time actually MADE it into the damned game.

So... been playing TF2 and Warhammer Online lately, but wasnt motivated to play any of them today... bah....

HA... the Sonic game to do this well in years... isnt even made by SEGA or Sonic Team... I guess that's a hint SEGA..

Unless Sonic Unleashed actually does well.. then... we'll see.

I'll be picking up Sonic: TDB when I can... which will probably end up being on Friday when I get paid.

Yeah.. another birthday, gonna come, gonna go... meh.

Well, I'll make quick to note that I live in Southern Indiana, right on the Kentucky Border/next to Louisville.

Ike 'hit' us on Sunday, about 1 pm est time. No rain, no hail, nope.. just wonderful 80+ miles per hour winds that took out almost every tree in the damned area.

This state/county wasn't made for hurricane winds like the stuff in the south. About 2:30 pm est time, I had just gotten in from clearing a tree from the ROAD.. before the fire department even got there, just in time for our power to go out.

Now we're one of the lucky ones, the company actually had our power up and running 23 hours after it went out.... its been stated over news and such, that power will be out in some places for up to over a week.

60% of Louisville, as of yesterday night, was still without power.
90% of Southern Indiana, as of yesterday night, was without power.

....100% of most places in Texas, where the hurricane hit full force... dont have places to live, no power, no water...

*Sigh*

Damn you 'Ike' why do you have to be so cheap. (SSBB Brawl ref.. :P) Hopefully everything will be good here soon.

In case and point... I was supposed to have worked yesterday (Monday) and today (Tuesday), an' have wens off... looks like a 5 day weekend this week... with a coupla 12 hour shifts starting the day the power hops on.. weeeeee.

Weeeee... I turn 25 September 17th... joy and all that stuff.

I'm getting two new front tires for my birthday... its strange that I'm not asking for a video game and all that, but... games wise... I work at a GameStop, they cant really get me video games now since I get em cheaper then they can. LOL

Well, the tires are needed anyways.

Heh... 25.. almost out of drafting age as well, then... the next thing to look forward too will be a midlife crisis...

Well, my very FIRST furry convention is coming up in November.... yeah, its going to be MFF (Midwest Fur Fest).

To those who have been to a furry con, any particular things I need to avoid, need to watch, need to visit? I'm not exactly 'hardcore' furry, so I don't really know what to expect.

I went with Mount Gunrock because it needed more people. I also went with it because I got impatient. The server I played on during Closed Beta wasn't around.. or if it was.. it was crammed full because all the characters were reset anyways.

Been playing the order more this time around to test em out... been having fun. So having a hard time deciding what I want to play overall.

I dunno which server to play on... bleh.

Okay, overall it was a fun event.

Now there were some issues Wends and Thursday that could of made this event alot more fun in the end but they didn't. I had saved up about an extra 300 dollars or so more for GenCon so I would have something to fall back on in case of emergency or if I felt the need to actually spend a large amount of money on something fun for once.

Nope, hotel screwed us this time around and they tried to do it multiple times throughout the entire event.

One: Hotels should NOT charge 22 dollars per car, per 24 hours to sit in THEIR OWN parking garage. Why the hell would you want to tack on an extra 220 bucks to my account? Ruin my day? You guys sure did it. This instantly removed any and all extra cash I had to fall back on.

Two: Do not ADD a third vehicle onto my account under the 25 bucks a day/valet parking. I only had two cars in self parking under the 22 bucks a day, your NOT gonna charge me a extra 75 bucks for this, and I'm not gonna take it.

Luckily for me I kept my urges to buy crap under control and ended up with 60 bucks still in my wallet in case they overcharge me again... I still have the receipts and I was able to confront them over the valet parking for our mystery car... and got it removed though apparently they didnt contact the parking people and they almost didnt let us out of the garage because I wouldnt pay the 75 bucks. (I had the receipt still on me, so I was able to show them they removed it.)

In the end though it was still a fun con, won the Soul Calibur 4 tournament on the third day (Lost the first two to cheap players, but on the final day I decided I didn't want to play fair anymore and did the same thing they did... I won.. I guess I can be low and cheap if I want to as well.)

Got to try out Champions Online and Warhammer Online... just in time for Warhammer's Beta to reach me so I can play it at home now. :P I wanted to check out Dragon Age by Bioware, but couldnt get in line fast enough for the preview they had, was always too full. And Xbox 360 was there, but nothing too spectacular was seen.

Hentai Dubbing was a big highlight and was really fun, as well as again meeting furry artists there and chatting with people I knew.

It was a great event All and All. :D

And again.. I get to go for free next year.. woop!

As for Warhammer Online, I have a character named Wani on the Beta servers, cant remember the name of said server, but it's popular.. had lots of people on it, and could play low level characters. :3 I'll edit this post later with the name.

Was awesome. Said hi to both  dhstein and  hbruton as well as winning free entry into next years convention by winning the Soul Calibur 4 tournament....

I'll explain more later when I am not lacking sleep.
