It sucks when you realize what bad habbits you develop
Posted 14 years agoA friend of mine, not to long ago, when we were hanging out had told me while we were discussing money, and some of the problems we had. That one of his issues was "When I want to eat, I kinda expect someone else to make it for me" Now he's not a big guy or anything, it's just the grab n go lifestyle the house he lives in has. They really don't go out of grocery trips to keep the house stocked up with relatively easy to make meals, and once in a while they'll make something special that's home made. Outside of that, they go out to eat...all the time.
That costs money. Surprisingly, a lot of money.
I've kinda relized over the last few weeks I've been devloping that same habit. Not quite the same extreme, but it's getting there, alarmingly fast. I'm seeing my thought process turn into ."huh, what do I have a taste for today, what do I want to go out and grab." And then I relizeing early to mid week before I get paied, that extra money I wanted to save up...got eaten. Literally. Now I am always saving money from each paycheck I get, 30% is always directly deposited into my savings account where I can't get to it, but I still need to be getting ahead each week and with how I've been eatting, thats becoming very hard.
Now something I almost forgot to mention. I do still live at home, and seeing as we are so low income, we do get a link card for food. We normally go out on a single large monthly shopping trip to stock up on a few particular things (Won't get into details, that's a whole other can of worms) Either way, we also do little trips here or there to pick up what we run out of , milk and the like. I know we do have food in the house, I suppose I'm just dumb for going out so much.

I go out there, and start mowing the grass ( was going to do it yesterday, but 3 pulls in trying to get the engine to start and the chord snaps, so dad had to go out and get a new one and repair it) anyways, I mow the front yard first. go though our little side area, and mow the back yard.
Turn the thing off, waltz back out to the front and look around in my drive way. 5 seconds later, all of the local tornado sirens go off at the same time. First thought though my mind. "well fuck, better go gear up for the zombie invasion"
Then I realize it's the first Tuesday of the month, and it's 10am, the standard time for the tornado siren tests here.

Posted 14 years agoSo yea, waited in the waiting room for 35 mins, and they took my height weight etc etc. Then waited in the paitent room for another 10 lol
took him less than 5 to remove them, although it stung quite a bit, which i was told would not be the case >.> Of course they were supposed to be removed 10 days from when I got them which was this last sunday, buuut they ended up being in there for 14 days, IE, why it hurt so much for them to be pulled out.
otherwise the wound is clean and fine, doesn't hurt much, if at all now, and everything looks good.

I just got back from Ann arbor MI. I was visiting Snapbat (don't know his FA name) and
jynxkitty for the week. I did have a lot of fun don't get me wrong, and I do know some of this is something like PCD. But It kinda set me thinking. I know there is someone, whom may read this, and wants nothing to do with me now and I understand. I made my choice. You deserve better.
But that's not all I was thinking about. I'm realizing out here in Bolingbrook Illinois that..well there is just nothing for me. I don't want to sound pessimistic, or something dumb like that. But right now, I do have a home. Almost no bills outside of what I choose to buy or, gas I use. I do have a job as well, although part time and not getting a ton of hours. I am doing something I enjoy, and that at some point I want to try going to collage for.
I'm skinny, fairly good looking, and not a complete re-re. I know that can get me places in the fandom. I could make 'friends' easily, and get shit for free, all going on sex and my looks. I have no real grounds to bitch if you look at it that way.
However..out here. I really don't have any friends. I have one or two non furry friends that I see every once and again, but it's not often. There is the local fur meet every month that I go to, and that's almost always a blast. there are people I see and talk to, and there "friends" if you can call them that. But I see almost no one outside of that bowling meet, and that honestly sucks. Yes I did just get back from a trip to a furries house and visited them for a week. however, that will be very rare. I'm just kinda tired of my weekly routine, work, play MH, and sleep. Maybe see one of those non fur friends of they stop by. My town blows for meeting new people, and I'd say about 90% of the 'local' furs that go to the meet all live a fairly good distance away, to the point where outside of a weekend long visit, or a week long visit, it's just not justifiable gas and money wise.
What does all this mean? I've decided, I want to really buckle down, and save up for a half decent car. and start saving and getting ready to move. I don't know where and none of this will be happening soon. but I want to move. I'm tired of Bolingbrook, I'm tired of my shitty friends, and lack of options to hang out with people. And just my sucky position of where I am. I'm in no place to make any of these changes, probably not till next year or even the year after. But I'm more motivated now. I'm realizing that I need to make some improvements. I need to treat the people I meet better. And stop acting so selfish.

Posted 14 years agoWhy in the flying fuck, no one not a single person in my area plays monster hunter besides me? Or should I say, monster hunter portable 3rd. A few people play freedom unite, but sadly I've grown to hate that, glitchey stupidly difficult game. I did play it for a while but got bored, when things were hitting me from places or angles that made absolutely no sense.
Now I've been playing the hell out of this new monster hunter. I'm one rank from max on the online hall, but I've plateaued out. The monsters simply have to much health. Even using top tier gear from other high rank monsters I simply just can't dish out enough damage before times up or I simply run out of supplies.
There is 1 fur that I can play with, he knows who he is if he happens to be reading this. I'm not saying I don't want to hunt with you, but before I do try to hunt with you anymore, you're gonna have to do some hunting on your own, I just can't carry you across any more missions.
Any who, is there -anyone- in the Chicago land area that lives in or near Bolingbrook that would want to play? You don't have to be a perfect best of all time player but a modest level of skill would be nice. x3
And for those who say use my ps3 to play with others? Can't. Don't own one and my older brother won't risk getting banned for it. As for XLink Kai? I don't have the patience, nor the money to spend to get that whole cluster fuck working.

kiba came over around 1:30pm CST, and we got to the con around I want to say 8:30 eastern time. Checked in with no problems. we put our stuff into the room, relaxed, checked the insane line for registration. I was a naughty 'sune and didn't pre reg like I always do, so we said fuck it, and got into suit and started tooling around.
Friday. Me and kiba got up around 8am, got breakfast, which well....NO SPRINKLES KIBA!!!! (inside joke hehe) got registered, no problems. I was a sponsor for my first FCN, although it doesn't come with quite as many perks as a AC, or MFF size con sponsorship, (IE: guaranteed reserved seating, a special dinner for regular sponsors, not just the supers)it was still nice to have all day access to free food, and a relatively quiet lounge to chat. Did some more suiting, bought me a octopi puppet, which was fun to play with and goof around the rest of the con with.
Saturday. This was a really fast day. Sadly I was not in the fursuit parade, by this point I was starting to be a lazy kitsune and not suit as much as I feel I should have. (Ohhhhh hindsight) I did hang out with
jinxkitty 
shale and a few others i can't remember ATM. I went to a traditional Japanese ramen bar, and had my first real riceball. It was orgasmic. The eel bowl I got was good too. x3 Overall slightly boring. Took a nap. Oh! I also sat down with 
dogsoul and started sketching ideas for my fusion concept, which will be unveiled when it's finally done.
Sunday. Me and kiba got up late. Or later I suppose. Hung out with his two friends, which I will need Fa pages for (*pokes kiba) Went to a classy place called "happy sushi" and enjoyed a sushi-tastic meal. The rest of the day was a blur of fun with me, shale and his roommate shroud. So before I knew it it was 10pm Sunday, and I was tired. Kicked the two aforementioned fuzzballs out, and went to bed.
Monday. Said goodbye, to the few furs who were up, as me and kiba left around 9am. It was a really fun car ride, both to and from, sadly the "from" was way to short. I love car rides, and we had a great time. overall. The con was a little boring, but still lots of fun. Then again I may just be a silly kitsune.

Posted 14 years agoSo for a while now on FA, there are quite a few artists I really like. Some are quite easy, then there are those who are fairly easy to commission, some a little more difficult, and still others that seem to just be a pain in the ass.
Now I'm not naming any names, or calling anyone a bad person or such, just that the way some do things makes it very hard for someone who works a baking schedule. (IE, 4am-8am shifts which means I'm asleep the vast majority of the day) There are times when I really want to note them asking about it, knowing the answer to my query. Only to respond offering them, double their price. (I normally -always- get full color, I don't particularly care for line art or sketches) Or hell, depending on the artist I'd be willing to offer them triple. Even if it was just for a reserved slot for the next batch of art they want to do.
As an artist, or a person that commissions art often. Do you think that's an ok thing to do? I haven't done it yet but it's getting to a point where I am starting to seriously consider it as an option. I realize if everyone did that, their prices would obviously change to reflect this, till people stopped, as a quadrupled( if they made the "double" from their original, into their new standard) Could be a fairly extreme price tag.

I don't see myself in the clouds, flying about never getting hungry, or tired, and all that stuff. I honestly see myself on...well earth. with some serious changes, and humans being a vast minority. And religion not being such a ridiculously massive force that has so much power. but still around ya know? Transportation between places, being much easier, cheaper. the world has a singular unified economy, that's not entirely fucked. Starting from hir head to toe.

hir markings. Ignore all the other pictures I have as they are currently dated. Here are hir most current marking. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/.....narasketch.jpg That is hir Left arm, Right leg, and obviously, Hir belly.
Hir cock is supposed to be completely canine in nature, with a thick chisel tip, a good amount of shaft length, with those sexy taperations, as well as a nice fat knot at the end.
All of hir flesh should be white, with the exception of hir nose. So nipples, cock, holes, vaginal lips. etc should be white. Hir innards (for internal shots) should be white as well.
Hir cum should be a deep, rich blue.
Shi does, or should have digigrade legs. Ad that is about it, otherwise have fun.

but I've been seeing a lot and i mean -alot- of the same names from a ton of different artists, those same furs all winning a whole bunch of different contests
I'm not naming names, or calling foul play. But it just seems a little weird when you keep seeing the same people wining contests..almost constantly. Maybe I just have bad luck or it's just a weird coincidence but I dunno. Just felt like making this journal been seeing this kinda stuff going on for quite some time with these same furs.
