I have always had issues spending money on myself to get things I just would like to have. Yet, with moving out, I know there are somethings I gotta get over to just treat myself and take care of me to help me be happy.
No, I am not going to turn OMG BIG SPENDER...but I can't hold back on myself either. I don't normally do things for myself, so I decided it is time I did. I am buying myself a present...
I am commissioning a suit from Media. It is my Triceratops character, Taffy. She is going to be done by MFF 2010. :)
I can not believe I am doing this...but I just sent him the deposit.
Wow.
This feels good and is really scary at the same time, but t I am sooo happy about it too. lol.
I really hope the PNC transfer from National City does not screw up this paypal transfer.
Edit: He got the money...I got the spot! :-D
Check out Media's suits HERE He is going to be opening again for commissions after FWA. We picked out the fur color last night for her...going to be settling with Pretty in Pink for her body color. The Fuschia was to "Lisa Frank" to use for her whole body - which doesn't have a lot of patterns to break up all that color. So we both agreed pink would be the safest bet to be used in such a massive quantity for her entire body.
I am really excited! :) I can not wait to romp around in her at MFF...
And yes...my FinTard will still remain a character with me- she is safe in storage in my closet at the moment. I am going to be doing some refurb on her, but that is going to have to wait a tad bit longer, as someone has spoken up asking that they help with her refurb. I just gotta wait for some other things to clear up first as it is going to be a project that we work on together.
Her eyes are going to be redone and some foam is going to be added in her head to hold her a bit better. Other then that, not sure what else I will do with her, but changing her to much would also be changing her character, which I don't want to do. I just want to make her easier to wear around. :) Everyone loves her the way she is...and so do I! So no worries FinTard fans, she is not going anywhere.
