Well, got my writing mojo back a little bit. Now to get back into drawing. Only problem, my tablet isn't responding properly, which means I need a new one. Blah.

So, I know I really haven't been active as of late. Sorry about that. Anyway, I got a random burst of inspiration, and hopefully, you'll be seeing more work from me soon, be it in the form of stories or art. Hopefully both, though I need a new tablet first for the art.

Anyway, just thought I'd put that out there. Hopefully I can keep up the motivation. I've been having issues with depression, so it's been tough. And now, to work!

What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
I had a bit of an Egyptian history kick, and yeah. Although, I don't see so many black-backed jackals on here, so that helps her be kind of unique.

For the most part. She's pretty shy, like me, and I'd like to think that I'm brave like her.

Gender, yes. Biological sex, no. As of my current active duty status, I'm unable to do much, but my physical sex will match hers some day.

Work in progress, but nowhere close to my own life.

Not as much as I'd like, but I also need to work on my artwork, so hopefully the practice will up the amount. :)

Many a time. I enjoy it thoroughly. Well, as long as the person(s) I'm RPing with don't get creepy.

Very much so. She is like an extension of my inner self, just more free, in a way.

So, I'm watching the first season of Digimon on Hulu... and I was reminded of Bleach. Joe's digimon, Gomamon, digivolves into Ikkakumon. Then I thought about bleach, and the crazy bald dude named Ikkaku. Now I'm imagining a bald, water-mammoth thing.

I really do. I always wind up stabbing the crap out of my fingers and thumbs.
However, there's something supremely special about sewing on your own rank insignia's when you make it to the next rank.

I was having a great day. Went to Urban Outfitters with a friend, and got myself a really cute dress, and a couple of tank-tops. Then, on the way back, I lost my bag with all of that in it. Over $120 just gone.

I just feel like crying right now.

So, I read this awesome book called 'Being Emily'. It's about a Trans-girl stuck in her male body due to her parents not understanding. It's about her journey to finally getting the life she wants, and becoming her real self. It's a great book, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Anyway, I myself am transgender, but I have to wait to do any of the major stuff until I'm out of the military. It really sucks, but I've learned that I can still live kind of the way I want, part time. Well, this book gave me a lot of awesome ideas on how to accomplish that, and with the help of a few of my friends, and a good chunk of voice training, I'll be able to be myself, 'Evelyn', at least part of the time while I'm away from the ship. I'm super excited about it, and I can't wait to get back from this next underway, because my wig and stuff should be here by then.

So, here's to having the chance to truly be the real me, for the first time in my life. Wish me luck. ^.^

A friend of ours, who works with at a Berkley facility researching hyenas, informed us that they had their funding cut a few weeks ago. As such, they will begin euthanizing animals when the last of the funds have dried up. Our friend and a few other people are currently racing against the clock to move the remaining twenty animals to zoos or sanctuaries (three will be going to the Oakland zoo later this week.) They are taking donations to keep the hyenas fed until all of them can find homes. So, I write a lot, even though i haven't posted all that much here. Recently, I've been trying to do a few more adult works, but I'm having a bit of an issue. Every time I get the writing the part with the actual sex, I get so distracted that it's hard for me to continue...

How the heck am I supposed to focus on writing, when my writing is distracting me?

Not really. That has nothing to do with anything right now. Apart from the fact that bacon is awesome.

Anyway, on to the point.

So, I had my appointment with the gender therapist on Tuesday. Was super nervous and all that, but there was really no reason to be. We just talked about stuff, really.

I kind of withheld some things from her as we talked though, and I realized in hindsight, that wasn't a good idea. It's just difficult for me to trust people sometimes.

I've got another session scheduled this next tuesday, so I'll be talking to her again, letting her know some of the things I left out, and hopefully it goes better, overall.

Though maybe I shouldn't be. I'm happy, too of course, but afraid.

See, I just called Military One Source, and got set up with a gender therapist. My first session is on Tuesday. I'm really happy that I finally made the call and got it set up, but I'm more nervous than ever, and anxiously await that first session.

I so hope everything goes well.
