Woooooooooo! Fall is basically here! (First official day is Sept 22nd)
What do you guys like to do in fall? Anybody going apple picking? How about a corn maze?

Here is the Boston area I always look forward to: Barrett's, Ghoulie Manor, and Spooky World up in NH. Trying to hit up Trail of Terror this year too!

Was time to take down that AC meme so figured I'd update folks with what I'll be doing in the next few months!
This weekend we're hosting the lovely Acai and headed to Cape Cod for fursuiting, swimming and the July Furbowl.
In August we'll be hitting up the Carnival parade and August Furbowl. Should be on the Cape from the 18th-21st which will be a nice mini vacation.
August and Sept also bring about our birthdays! Strobes will be 26 August 9th and I'll be 25 Sept 4th. Looking forward to hanging out with all our local friends and having a bunch of fun to finish up the summer!

So how is everyone? If you're going to AC you getting pumped it's so close? I'm actually going to FurXoticon this coming Sunday for a day trip but I'm pumped for AC which is our next full length con!

Let me preface this by saying, this isn't your typical con review. It's more about how this con affected me on a deeper level and it's about to get feelsy.
Leading up the the con I have had a lot going on in my life, personal stuff, that I've not cared to talk about. I'm not here to bore you with crap like that. But to be blunt, I was in a cloud of looming darkness and haven't been able to truly enjoy a lot of things for awhile.
I was counting the days till FWA for months, praying that it would be exactly what I needed to get out of my funk, that it'd be my medicine, and it delivered, god damn did it deliver.
Strobes and I arrived Wednesday to be greeted by some of our closest friends that we had the pleasure of catching up with and grabbing a late dinner at Metro Cafe with. That intimate chill sesh would set the tone for this con. After we returned I met up with some other friends in their room and told some stories and made them laugh and smile, all while relaxing and just being together. The night ended with yet another small chill sesh up in another friends room, with hugs all around and eventual sleep.
Thursday morning Strobes, Zuel, Tay and I went to breakfast and then the Aquarium. Gosh what an amazing place that Aquarium is! So massive and absolutely gorgeous. I got to see Whale Sharks, pet sharks and rays, see a Sea Lion show followed by a Dolphin Show and even see some little fish/sea creatures I never knew existed!
After that we returned to the hotel where I chilled with some more friends, went fursuiting, did dance comp tryouts, had dinner with the roomies and went suiting again, in both my suit and a friends.
I imagine you're seeing the trend here yeah?
Friday was lots of fursuiting, more small chill sessions and Floor Wars. I really wasn't into the dancing this con. Like it was cool but I liked seeing my friends dance way more. Went to two parties that night, one that allowed me to meet some amazing folks I always had wanted to! The sets that night were great and huge shoutout to Rahne for playing a song that means a lot to Strobes, Rahne and I and all of us on stage singing and dancing to it. I stayed up mad late that night with some Boston area pals, starting sing-a-longs in the lobby and being absurd.
Saturday was way more fursuiting, even suiting at Hooters with Smudge and Ziggy. I also had more very lengthy and chill talks with some close friends, mostly one on one. I had smiled so much at this point my face hurt but damn I was already on cloud nine!
I didn't make it into Dance Comp and honestly didn't give to shits. I got to sit up front and take great pics of my awesome friends in the comp. And damn some of those performances were mind boggling. I also got to watch the love of my life kill it and get 3rd place at a massive dance comp, that felt AMAZING! All the while I was surrounded by my friends and loved ones as we cheered and screamed like one big family.
That night I attended another amazing party in the same room as Fri night, this time in suit. I met and got to hang with even more kick butt people and had convos with an all time favorite artist of mine about stuff I never imagined I would have lol. So many laughs my tummy hurt! Went to just Kamillex's set that night but damn son that was fun!
Sunday was way more relaxed and I even got to film a new video with my roomie and idol, Tilt Longtail! God damn that was a fucking blast, and after I ran around as Gale cosplaying Judy Hopps! Folks loved my outfit! The rest of the day was a lot of fursuiting, photo taking, hangouts, a snuggle sesh with a close pal, and an out of this world dinner at The Vortex. That evening I had one of the most intense real talks of my life with someone who's become close to me. There were tears and hugs and all sorts of emotions. It was very very important it happened and I'm happy it did. Suited a bit after that but yeah.....
That con was all about very small intimate hangouts and real talk and everything I needed. I got to know so many people way better and truly learn about who they are, what they came from, how they found furry. You few know who you are that devoted a few hours to me, and to you, I say thank you. Thank you for everything. It seems so silly but it's what I needed and as I write this I feel so much better than I have in months.
To my boyfriend, my roommates, my close friends, my new friends, the FWA staff... my furry family... Thank You. I'd be lost without you <3

Anime Boston was yet again incredible! We just went for Saturday but had a blast, Basalt and Gale went out to the conspace. Met lots of cool peeps and had a good amount of folks know who I was and came and said hello. Looking forward to next year already!

Anthrocon Wrap Up and Upcoming Events

So Anthrocon was incredible like it is every year, but this was easily one of my favorite conventions thus far. Good friends, good laughs and good memories. The fursuit parade going outside this year was crazy awesome, one of my favorite moments and I even got to have a private one on one dinner with the Sand Diego Famous Chicken to discuss mascoting. To everyone who was part of my Anthrocon, I love you all! <3
Moving forward the next meet I'll be at is the July MA Furbowl and the next con I'll be at is Furpocalypse. My only two cons left for the year are Furpocalypse and Midwest FurFest. Been working really hard on prep for Anthro New England 2016 as well, so that'll be amazing if you make it.

I have been so busy but dear god it is almost here!
For those of you that don't know Anthro New England in a new convention taking place Feb 27th-March 1st in Cambridge, MA and I am the Director of Operations.
Myself along with Logn Roo and Kota Husky founded the convention and started preparation for it in December 2013 and finally it's about to happen!!!!

Anthrocon.... easily this was my FAVORITE convention this year. Holy shiz the memories <3 Incredible friends, the best parties one of my rooms have ever seen, so much suiting and non stop fun!
First off there was Floor Wars (I finished second.... which I personally think I should have lost to Relic but oh well. Caw DESTROYED me and it ruled)

And very shortly after Anthrocon I flew down to Orlando, FL with my mom to volunteer for the Mascot Games, but come Thursday I drove her to the airport and then made my way to Megaplex. This was a weird con as I was doing Mascot Games stuff during the day Thurs, Fri and Saturday so I only experienced nights and Sunday during the day. It was really fun though, just way to warm!!!

Well in September I got amazing news, I was hired at an engineering firm for like the exact job I wanted to spend my life doing! It took a lot of hard work and perseverance but you can do anything if you don't give up! That quickly took up a lot of my time in the fall, but we managed to do a little something for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

Before I knew it, it was Halloween time! And that means FURFRIGHT..... errrrr.... FURPOCALYPSE! Like always I had a blast, as it's such a fun little New England convention, with good friends, good beers, and good times! I fursuited a TON which was kick ass!

Also I just about cried at this moment. FurFright and now Furpoc are my favorite audience of all time <3 I started dancing here in 2012 and I love this dance comp more than any other. And somehow, despite me thinking I was mid range in rankings, I placed 3rd and Strobes got 1st. It was incredible <3

And like a month after that was Midwest FurFest! It was a good con, very chaotic this year due to unforseen circumstances and a night that smelled terribly like a pool.
But even still, Strobes and I did one of our like favorite dance comps yet. It was just straight silly and fun!

~Midwest FurFest 2014 Review~

Hey all!
Well MFF this year was certainly different. Personally MFF is always my least favorite con, there's just a weird vibe too it that I don't feel at other cons. I had a decent time for sure, fursuited a good amount and saw lots of friends but the whole weekend seemed off.
I'd like to give a huge shout out to the Hyatt and con staff as well as all the first responders (Firefighters, EMS, Police, Hazmat, etc) on how professionally they handled the evacuation and mass return about 4 hours later. Of course there were a few token idiots that were pushing and trying to yell orders that had no right to yell orders, and other idiots walking by officers with their hands up saying "hands up don't shoot" like a bunch of fucking morons, but we can only hope those people grow up.
This year for major events I hosted the SaberTooth photoshoot on Friday, participated in the parade as Basalt while Ed wore Gale, co-hosted Floor Wars with Ronnie, and did the fursuit dance competition with Strobes.
Surprisingly some of my biggest highlights were all our food outings, especially Adobe Gila Thursday for lunch with Strobes, Darkpaw and Nicolai as well as Hoffbraus House Thursday night with Strobes and Reyndog.
Overall it's a con I will most likely attend again to see the friends that go but I will always much prefer Anthrocon for a big con.
Now speaking of which, here are my cons for 2015:
