My dog hurt his leg on the weekend and wasn’t getting better. Booked an appointment with the vets and got to see them today. Had an xray on his leg and shows he has ruptured his CCL and needs surgery. The cost is $3600 and I can’t afford it… stressing out so much and don’t know what to do…

Just more of an update
Posted 6 years agoSo finally getting around to uploading a few more pictures that I had gotten. Some of which I received during the time I was in hospital so hadn't had time to upload until now XD
So far health wise things are on the mend. I had my next infusion a few days ago and I think it is helping me. I'm getting more colour back so I don't look like a ghost XD A lot of people kept commenting how I looked so pale and deathly. But I'm finally starting to get some colour back. I have a bit more energy too which is good. I'm still rather shaking but I can walk around more before getting dizzy.
I have been given another month off work in order to recover which is good. Problem is that I've almost used up all my sick leave so will soon need to go onto my holiday pay which is a bit annoying. But at least I'm still getting paid which is the main thing.
So, it's good that things are continuing to improve. I'm never going to be 100% of course but I'm getting better slowly which is important. I do still get rather tired but that is to be expected with the less energy. That and it's summer here and I'm bloody melting away in this heat! XD Constantly got a fan going in my room next to my computer because it's so hot!
Also, I'm very close to 500 watchers! Thanks so much to everyone! Means a lot to me <3

Posted 6 years agoHey everyone, thought I should get around to doing an update about how things are going. Spent 12 days in hospital with a toxic mega colon which was close to perforating. Was in a critical condition for about 5 days with surgeons on standby to cut it out if need be. I also have severe ulcerative colitis which I'll be treated for for the rest of my life with medication and infusions. For the most part, I shouldn't really notice anything bad from it but I just gotta be careful.
I am home and it's so nice to have my own bed and not be woken up multiple times during the night for observations. Also not getting blood tests every day is a big bonus! XD
So I am slowly on the mend. I have to take things easy for a while to let my body recover. Standing for a while or walking too long makes me get a bit dizzy but I just gotta slowly work on that to get back to normal. I'm working on getting my strength back and all this before I have to return to work. Bit nervous about that but my boss knows about it and will make sure it's not too much for me and slowly ease me into it again.
So 2019 hasn't really had a good start for me XD 3 days in and was in hospital. I really should have gone to hospital sooner but I had hoped it would go away on it's own. Didn't realise how bad it was until I went in. The specialist there had never seen a case as bad as mine except in a textbook.

The fear isn't as bad now as when I went in since I got used to it but it still is something I cannot watch. I cannot look at needles >.< it also still hurts so damn much. But I can almost breath normally when it goes in XD
I still have a long way to go. But I am just so happy to be home.

Posted 6 years agoBit of a late Happy New Year and Merry Christmas journal. I've been flat out with work and barely had any time to myself to think.
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and New Years and hope 2019 brings you all joy.
I am looking forward to 2019. Got plenty of friends I'm hoping to meet up with this year. It's gonna be a lot of fun to hang out with them all.

Sadly, had to work New Years Eve which sucked. Wasn't meant to be working it but got made to work it. Thankfully it wasn't as busy as previous years but still didn't want to be there XD Best part was getting to fill balloons up with glitter and pop them at midnight! That was fun X3 Meant I missed out on seeing the fireworks over the harbour bridge due to working but I got to see a bit of it. Looked nice this year.
But yeah, thanks to all my amazing friends for being there for me through out the year. You're all so amazing and love you <3 Too many to start listing but you all know who you are <3

Posted 7 years agoHey everyone! Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you all! Hope you have an amazing day and hopefully your year has been pretty good on the whole and hopefully 2018 brings you all joy.
Was about a year ago I really got back into the furry fandom and about 10 months ago I started getting art. Never would have guessed things would be where they are now that's for sure XD
Over this last 10 months I've met some amazing people who I'm honoured to call my friends. Although I can't thank every one of you, I still am grateful to you all. The ones listed here are people I got to know this year that I really want to thank.

Posted 8 years agoSo I'm slowly getting around to actually uploading commissions I've gotten. They aren't really being uploaded in any certain order, it's more so as I think of a title and something to say about it that I upload it. Those that I haven't uploaded yet are ones I'm still contemplating on, but it'll happen. At least I've gotten around to finally doing something =P
