Currently in the process of wrapping up my 3rd quarter at school (half way done!), and it's getting busy as all hell here. I'm working, trying to gather enough money for important things in life, and hopefully get Zeezy down here before GenCon in August.

Unfortunately, due to lack of $, time, and other matters, I haven't been able to get Zeezy down here yet, but working frantically to do so.

To all my commission people, I have reached an epic milestone in failure, and nearly 1 year has elapsed since I got my first one from Dranslin. I would like to formally apologize, and say that I have not forgotten you, and I thank each of you who has been able to stay in constant contact with me (hopefully thereby letting you know what all is going on in my life, in detail). Your art is coming, I just can't say exactly when it's coming.

To those who have watched me recently (in the past 2 months), thank you for watching, faveing my art, and leaving me a shout. You all rock my socks, and I love all of you.

In conclusion, I just want to let everyone know that I'm still around, I'm still keeping a presence, I still paw off to your art, and I have art to be uploaded (hopefully sooner than later). See you all ASAP.

As you all know,  Spark-Tegu died 3 weeks prior to this journal, and I've been slowly recovering from losing him. It's a tough gap to fill in your heart, when you've lost a loved one who took up such a great residence in it. Nevertheless, life goes on, and memories remain to carry with you, be they sweet or bitter, life lessons were learned.

In place of Spark's perch atop my head, his brother, whom I have named "Bolt", has assumed Spark's position of pet and best friend. I've been slowly warming up to him, even though his personality and attitude are vastly different than Spark's, I am hoping that in time, he will grow to understand me, and vice-versa. He is quite a bit larger in mass and length than Spark, but Bolt is just as friendly and loves the kind of attention that would drive most people crazy. I hope he turns out to be a rock star, just like Spark. (:3

As for pictures, I am going to be uploading them on Spark's page. The account has not been abandoned, so please go watch him if you are interested to see what little Bolt is up to. He is large and lovable, and I know you're all going to love him. n=n

Finally, my best wishes go out to all those who replied to my previous journal, and let me know how many people really cared. Thank you all. It really does mean a lot. Times haven't been easy, and are still heading down with my school schedule, money problems, and housing issues. I really want to aim for getting  Zeezy down here by June, but things aren't looking so hot at the moment. Albeit, I'm going to try getting more hours at work in order to pay for his plane ticket down here. I'm hoping to get him a ticket to Australia for February 2010, to come with me for my cousin's wedding, which I will be photographing.

 Spark-Tegu passed away this morning, March 15th, 2009.

As much as he loved to sleep next to me, and loved to burrow under things... I was afraid something like this would happen. During the night, I seem to have rolled to the side, and he had tried to crawl under me to stay warm...

I woke up this morning to find that I had accidentally broken his neck, and he had stopped breathing. I feel absolutely horrible over it, and am regretting not getting him a cage to stay in.

I only ever got to see him on weekends, so I didn't think to get him one until I'd moved to my new apartment. He loved to be out and roaming, cuddling up next to me and falling asleep, or resting on my stomach while I talked with friends.

He was loved by so many people. My friends here, friends at school, my parents' work mates, acquaintances at the weekly movie we went to, and even total strangers. He was loved up until the end, and I just hope he knew how much people loved him.

I'm sorry I have to post this... I feel at so much fault for his death, because it was wreckless of me to have such a small animal next to me while sleeping. As I type this, he's laying on my chest, still and quiet, as though he was asleep, still warm...

I may be taking a hiatus from here for a little while. I apologize. I will try to be back in a week.

XD I just got my Sea Dragon in the mail today. I'll post a nice photo of it tomorrow.

Finally finding enough time (early in the morning) to get a chance to sit down, take a breath, and get back to the routine. You wouldn't believe how stressful getting back to school on a new course-set is. @.=.x

Anyway, Disney world with the blue one,  Zeezy went well for the most part. We didn't get to roam around the parks as much as I'd hoped to, mainly due to the fact that we'd been walking everywhere so much, that our feet were killing us halfway through the day. XD Still, there was much great sushi to be had, and the photography venture was quite fruitful! Thankfully, I got to celebrate the New Year with my best friend, and that's all I really wanted during this whole trip.

Just as a small announcement, Zeezy and I are no longer mates or anything, due to some small talk, and I'd really rather just keep that under wraps, unless I specifically tell you myself. It's nothing bad, and we're still best friends ever, so no worries (Neither of us is available either, so do not ask). I'm going to keep my art of he and I up because I do still love him as a friend. <3

Lastly, I am for-sure getting a new laptop sometime in the near future. A Dell Inspiron Mini 9, and here are the specs:

Laptop is officially dead in the water. The team I had working on it to fix it, said there was a recurring hardware malfunction, and the HDD is failing. It's like having a pet die to lose this Dell Latitude D610... it was such a great computer for nearly 5 years. Would have been 5 years old this Christmas... v.=.v

But where one life ends, a new one begins. I'll be receiving a new ultramobile laptop for school, starting in a couple weeks, and here's the setup:

Dell Inspiron Mini 9
-8.9" LCD Screen
-Windows XP Home (will be upgrading to XP Pro SP2 / Knoppix Linux dual-boot)
-32GB SSD (w/ slot for SDHC expansion (32GB SDHC plz))
-1GB RAM (will be upgrading to 2GB)
-3 USB ports
-36W/hr battery (4+ hours) (hoping to find a larger battery too)

In any case, I'll be getting my poor dead comp back soon, and will see if I can get it back in working order with a new HDD. Better to have 2 laptops than 1 anyway.

Until then, I'll be on my iMac til Dec. 24th, and will be in Florida thereafter. If all goes well, I'll probably be borrowing my brother's laptop and running a Knoppix Linux live disc session to get online, possibly back on XP within a couple days thereafter.

EDIT: The people working on it were able to salvage 20GB out of the 24GB I had stored. Better some than none, I guess. :\

Ok, so before anything else, I'm not going to be asking people out there to send me any money to help buy a new computer, UNLESS you'd like to... All the more power to you and your checkbook if you do.

Do NOT partition your hard drive using any partition managers you download. I was hoping my to set aside a separate partition on my computer in order to install OSX from an iAtkos v1.0ir2 ISO, but after running a full HDD defragmentation and disk cleanup, XP now refuses to launch.

Just another reason I hate Windows-based OSs. Getting a new computer? Get a Mac...

So now, here I am, running Linux Ubuntu 8.10 from the livedisk (no, not installed, because the HDD is locked up, and I'd have to wipe it to install it, but there's no way in hell I'm going to do that).

Well..... here's just another $2500 I'm going to have to spend. v.=.v

Only 2 weeks left til Christmas, and then  Zeezy arrives. I'm feeling a lot better than my last journal, and am happy that I only have 1 day left of school, with just 1 last easy test to take.

Zeezy doesn't travel a lot, so I'm getting him out and about before we move out to Oregon in about 16 months. So our next destination is something a little more enjoyable than GenCon; Disney World! :3

Where the hell do I begin? I'm going to break this journal into 3 parts, so only read what you're interested in.

1: MFF

I guess I can start by saying how much fun MFF was. I didn't get to meet up with who I was looking for, but hopefully we'll meet up next year. I want to shout a big thanks to everyone who hung out with me, and taught me to play Dragon Storm. I'm finding myself wanting to get back to playing it, and am really considering going to StormCon when it rolls around. This game was definitely the highlight of the whole con. Props to  FirHax for introducing me to it.

2: Drakkoid's Visit

 thedrakkoid stopped by for a visit this weekend, and we got to hang out. Was a little short-lived, but hey, we'll meet up again sometime. Spark was with us the whole time, and Drak really liked holding him (and at points, wouldn't give the little guy back). Anyway, hope to see him again if we get time.

3: Depression setting in...

I don't even think I should bother posting any of this, since it usually just gets overlooked and frowned upon, but I have to make it known for some reason, so that I don't do something stupid to myself, or inadvertently hurt someone. I've just been feeling incredibly stressed, lonely, and depressed in the few weeks before Zeezy gets here, not to mention lazy as all fuck.

I hate having to apologize for something that should never have taken so long, but anyone who is waiting on me for something, please bare with me. I'm at the point where the pain is becoming palpable. I am struggling to get the money together to buy a plane ticket for Zeezy, I'm trying to get him a christmas present, but am having trouble getting it in time.

Looking around, I'm seeing a lot of there, so I thought I'd toss mine up, even though I've mentioned it in oh what? 3 journals so far?

Anyhoo, going to be heading up with a few good furiends (they know who they are). Going to be bolting from school, to the apartment, all the way up to Bedford, IN from Louisville, KY; from there, switch cars and drive all the way up to Chicago. Tomorrow is going to be a heck of a long day, but well worth it, I'm sure.

See you up there if you're going! I can't wait to meet lots and lots of new furs! Look for me, I'll be wearing my ash/black Colombia windbreaker, most likely a pair of black/blue fingerless gloves, and my hair down to my eyes. ;3
