Trying to figure out a good canvas size for my digital stuff. So far it's been mostly 2000 x 1500. But wondering if 3000 x 2500 would be good as well.
I know this would allow me to get more details in but not quite 100% on this. Also, I don't know what size most use on their own digital work.

Starting either this Friday or the weekend. I'll be mostly working on a pic a pet portrait for someone and hope it'll turn out well.

In the meantime, I'm reworking some older works of mine as well as some more character updates, that need it.
Also, a few more comics are coming to my Twitter (and here at a later time). As DD is still "missing". They will mostly focus on Khris and whatever randomness happens.

And finally, while I have a discord. I'm trying to figure out if I want to open it to more since its kinda not as active anymore.

Yep. I am going to miss having a few posts having over 1k views, the highest being 10k, during the "event" on Twitter.

But I'm glad that I was able to pass along the info to others when the FA account was down, as well as others.

Of course, some things going to slow down back to normalcy. Which means, in my case, double digits. Maybe one year I can get those high numbers without this happening again. 😅

However, if anyone wants to catch on to my "boring" works and Wips that I don't post here. You're welcome to stop by here

Now back to my random posting of "meh" things.

For those that havent joined the FA Discord

Here's what went down based on what I know.
After a few hours, the site's link goes to a random site (mostly a mock storefront).
The link seemed back to normal. Until later in the evening when previous Twitter posts talking about the outage "disappeared"
Of course, some thought FA was behind it, not knowing the real truth and it was during this time, that a discord staff member (Luffy) tried to keep things down and well-informed and let others know the Twitter account had been compromised (and for a short time Dragoneer's but the hacker stopped on that for reasons?)

As the "event" continued on. The site was marked as part of a phishing site (etc). Later the site's link kept changing its redirection to other sites and finally stopped on the site known as Kiwifarms.

During this time on the Twitter account. The "hacker" claimed to have found things and said things they disliked (which ended up turning ironic considering what they ended up doing to the account. They would not only end up ticking everyone who comes to this site to share their work but in return... got KF ticked at them as well. Not only that. They managed to "fumble" on the handle, in which someone snagged to hold.

This would continue for nearly 2 days. While this was going on, Discord had to set, at first, a slow mode, and then a lockdown was initiated for the time being. More things kept going as day 2 was nearing its end. Others and I kept posting updates on our own Twitter for non-discord users to let them know what was happening while they were sleeping/ away.

As for now. Everything seems to be going ok. The FA Twitter handle that user WHANOS was holding had been returned and posts made by the "Mr. Fumbles" were removed. (lord knows where they went and better be running for what they did and ticked off)

Now whether or not FA is in total clear. We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime. You can check out their discord and Twitter (which is ok now) for any additional information.

And before I forget. Only the site's link was taking for a spin, not the site, as you can tell.

Well it seems like I forgot to show off my Pokemon Go inspired pics here since last year. Well guess I'll go and do that now.
So just a heads up on them coming on by here.

So after seeing the amount for all thats going on with FA and Dragoneer-related stuff that was mentioned in Fenders journal entry. It's going to be a long road for them and this site.

While I wish I could help, even after being here since 06. I barely have an cash for myself. But I do wish them luck in getting things taken care of with the help of others. (including those that were very close.)

And while even though they're going to keep it up and running. I might start posting some of my things on another art-based site.
In the meantime, I will keep the stuff I've already posted here since I first joined up. But I will start a backlog of those I've posted as well. (or at least a screenshot for my records)

After reading about Dragoneer here and on Twitter. It sucks to see this happen.
Got a bad feeling about it with what they mentioned on their account over there and journals here.

And even though I never met them, I would randomly check their stuff out and such.
Course not sure what else to say that hasn't already been said by other, even though I've been here for years.

Yep. Since AF is nearly over, it's time to show off the pics others had done for me.
No time when Ill post them but it should be soon.

It'll be a mix of the ones I've done and those from others. (they may or may not be in any order)

Thinking about doing some more comics featuring D.D

Last year I did a 5 part comic with a guest character Johnny that is owned by cohpycat (which they liked and I thanked them for the usage)
Of course, while I would like to do more with their character, I figured doing just the 5 was good enough. So I might go and see if I can find another person that wont mind the same at a later time. As for now, D.D will continue to do whatever random thing there is to do.

If you want to get caught up, you can check out the few that's already done in the Comic section. I'll make a new one just for that set later on.

in a couple of days. Some of the newer characters that made their debut in ArtFight 2024 will be posted here as well.

Recently Ive been updating some of my guys on Art Fight to have cleaner linework as well as getting redesigned.
You can see a preview of a few in my gallery here as well.

Also, I will be Reworking a couple of pics from prior A.F. as well.

Finally, for this year, I will only be focusing on just 2 styles. (Lined and lineless)
The reason for this is due to how, in previous events, I tried to get some nice detailed pics done but ended up being in a rush state and had one person dislike how their's turned out (guess they expect the highest quality or something)

However, if there's one or more that turned out good, at least for me. I will go and give it something extra but only after the event is over and I have more time to do so.

in case some might've wondered why there wasn't much going on here last month. I was on my other account doing my daily sketches for last month. If you want to see what I came up with. You can check it out here: regma-sketches

Also, going to do a little mini-series of sketches involving some hybrids sometime this month. And there will be a little lore with them as well.
And there will be different variants of them as well (sketch and colored). As where they will be shown. One version will be on this account and the other on the other account.

It's a new year but like normal I don't have anything set.

Anyway, got a few things coming including having a new speices join my list of previous ones I've done.

I'll have to make some adjustments before it's ready, as there were a "few" things I like and wanted to add but... would be over doing it.
As for what it is, can't say now but it'll be from the sketches that was done for my sketchbook pic account.

Also planning to do some pet pics as well as a few updated reworks.

As Fender mentioned. There's been a rise of scammers and fake accounts.

This also is taking place on deviant art as well. Please note that real companies looking for artist and such will never message you first. Right now there's a least one fake one, with multiple accounts, pretenting to be from "Kabam". (At least on DA)

This will always be fake. Some with any art in their galleries have been getting the same "canned" PM.

I've also noticed that they will be watching those they're going to PM as well in their follows.

So be on the lookout for any messages like that.

It's not too bad. I like the details it can do.

I've been using it to get some ideas and found some good ones, (also some ideas for character redesigns as well.)

Going to make some sketches and see how some of my guys look.

While some dislike others using programs like it. I use it much like someone uses photos as a reference to their work.

All works I post here will still be of my own doing and hands. (sketch and all)

not many takes up on the offer as much, and some don't even follow the simple rules when they do.

Maybe I'll do a poll and see if there's any interest.

Yep. I've seen like 5 journs of others getting into it. And I'm still waiting, been I think a month of waiting.

(Watch it be like once I finally get there, everyone moved to the next thing😅)
