Split personality (fursonality?)
Posted 13 years agoI´ve got a problem, lately a new personality, fursona if you like, have appeared. Jinxter is his name. I´m now writing as the creator, or human behind these fursonas, and I do not really know how to cope with this multiple fursonas.
Should I delete Garm the wolf and register one of my ordinary internet-nicknames and post pics of both my fursonas, like a master personality? I am not ready to lose Garm, even though I am more satisfied with the looks of Jinxter. Garm have definitvely a "charming" personality ;) And I have just gotten to know Jinxter for a few minutes at a time for a few times. I have the feeling that Jinxter is more outgoing and more of a trixter than Garm, who on the other hand is more of a grumpy old man. But then again, I do not know him that much yet. Only one person have yet seen him in real life and this evening I sent two of our fursuiter friends a picture of him.
The plan was that Jinxter as a full suit, would make his first appearence at Eurofurence this year, but due to near real life experiences he will just appear as a partial. At this time I just have some minor work on front paws and furring of back paws left before the partial is finished.
I am very lucky to have Lyria as mate, otherwise I would probably not have finished Jinxter at all.
I, Garm and Jinxter hope to see several of you at Eurofurence next week.

Garm explained by his creator
Posted 13 years agoI think I need to explain a thing or two about Garm. He is mostly quite harmless, but he has a temper, and also a bit bitter and grumpy. This does not mean that he dislikes YOU as a person, it is just the way he is.
He is seldom seen jumping around, playing with children or playing with toys. Often he is seen with his arm crossed or posing with obscene gestures. Don´t blame me, I think it came with the ragged look and the metal/goth clothes I gave him. When I lent him my tux, he became a bit nicer than usual.
I was a bit nervous about letting him out with other (unknown) furrys at the first outings, since I didn´t know how they would react to his behaviour, and I asked him very politely to TRY to behave. I think the possibility of hugs and new friends got him a bit more polite ;)
He is a bad wolf in more ways than I feel comfortable writing about, but he is aware of the importance to behave in public, and know that leg humping and other things like it, is not appropriate behaviour... if not encouraged and in private ;) I seem to have failed stopping him from giving the finger to everything and everyone though, but I do not want to rob him of all his personality either... ;)
So far, it seems, people and furs have accepted him the way he is. and as far as I know, he have not even gotten slapped.
