Posted 8 years agoA while back, the signin protocol for AOL instant messenger changed, and I gave up using it completely. Most of the contacts hadn't been online in years anyway. I can't even remember most of the contact list now, but there were a few cool people who used to chat.

Recommend stuff.
Interesting hard sci-fi would be best. Soft sci-fi and fantasy are good too, if they have a fun setting or if there are sexy monsters involved. Comedy or action films are acceptable.

Has a personal code of honour, and sticks to it most of the time, but has no respect for anybody else's rules. Totally trustworthy, except when he isn't. If you call on him in your hour of need he will probably help, but you can never be sure he won't just choose to eat you instead.
femGeb - chaotic evil
Hedonistic, selfish, and misanthropic. It's rare that she will take the time to talk to you. Her only interest in other people is for sex or food. She can play nice sometimes, but only for her own purposes.
Ansaes - chaotic good
Unstoppably cheerful. He's a happy little dragon, and wants everybody else to be happy too. He will do anything within his power to make it happen.
Mari - lawful good
Loyal to her prince, and enjoys working in his service. She's a gentle person by nature, caring and helpful. If she were ever pushed too far, she would not hesitate to leave, but to a good master she is an obedient servant, and has fun being so.

I used to really love dinosaurs as a kid, then as I grew up a bit I used to love dragons too. My first 'sona was a dragon, and then when I later upgraded them to anthro I switched the species around a bit too.
Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
Physically? No, I can't claim to be macro in reality... I'd love to be a giant lizard if I could though.
Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
Pretty much, yes. The only difference is that there's no reason to hold back in fantasy.
Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
In most things yes, although seamonsters are built to tolerate cold water better than poor little humans, so my 'sonas like swimming in the ocean a lot more than I do in reality.
Does your fursona look like you at all?
I'm a bit skinnier as a human. Also, I don't weigh 80 tonnes.
Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
Uh... I have both male and female 'sonas. So yes. Also no.
Do you have more then one main fursona?
I think of my lizards being two halves of one person. They're both me.
Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
Ocean dwelling lizards don't have interesting backstories. Swim, sleep, eat. Sleep, eat, swim. Eat, swim, sleep.

Since my male and female sides are one person, I suppose you could say they are single together? Now I am confused.
If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?

Dolphins are hard to photograph
Posted 12 years agoMy chosen holiday option has been the coast of Wales and the bottlenose dolphins found there.
Dolphins move fast, can stay under for ten minutes at a time, do not move in predictable patterns, and appear for only a fraction of a second. If you're looking at your camera viewscreen, you miss them entirely. As a bonus challenge, you're standing on a wobbly boat.
Dolphins are hard to photograph.

For all you giants out there, remember that the bigger things are, the more fragile they get.
A steel toy boat that fits in a human hand could survive a hit from a hammer with just its paint scratched. A steel boat the size of a house would be damaged in a crash, but could carry on going. A post-panamax cargo ship like MOL Comfort cannot survive a crash. They're barely strong enough to hold together under their own weight.
So if you're ever going to do this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9991049/ don't rest your weight on the ship! It can't take it! Fortunately for the Maersk Laberinto, Ansaes the fogdragon is much lighter than he looks.
