Sorry it's been a while since I posted anything. My family has had a rough time with illness lately, not to mention my computer dying, so art has been rough.
I wanted to make a journal since FA got hijacked.

This past week or so I've been having computer troubles since an update seemingly bricked my pc. I managed to reboot it before the update and grab my files, but when I went to shut it down for the night it auto-updated without my say and bricked again. I, thankfully, have all my files, but my current computer situation is dodgy at best. I'm typing on an old laptop that is on it's last legs. This thing will turn off for no reason or blue screen at random. The poor girl is real old, but does what she can so I can at least doodle a little and listen to music. As long as I practice saving every 5-10 minutes I feel pretty safe drawing, just maybe not extravagant pieces. I will try to get my pc back one way or another, but until another update fixes the one that borked my pc, I'm walking on egg shells.

All I can say is thank the gods for cloud services and external hard drives. I really hope I can get back to normal soon. I may need to buy a brand new pc sooner rather than later, but I don't have the funds for that at the moment :\ Technology really sucks sometimes.

Hello everyone! It has been...yeah, but! Easter is coming around the corner and I hope to deliver you all a bunch of egg pictures since life has been keeping me on my toes for a bit.

General life updates:

-kid's book-Finished that and got burned from drawing for a while. I don't know how things have been going with it since Covid-19 decided to rear it's ugly head. Last I heard, everyone liked it and the client was looking into using it for some things. (I hope everyone is okay because I haven't heard an update in a while and the client wanted to keep me posted on things)

-Burnout- Yeah...couldn't really doodle for myself even though I was done with work (I had several other commissions to do alongside the kid's book. Did I mention that? I was so busy I'm sorry) The plus side to burn out is actually playing games I bought I don't remember how long ago. Also spending time with the family was nice without the stress of constant work.

-Slowly getting back- I have been drawing a good amount for the past couple months or so, but I haven't finished much. I have more doodles and concepts for things, but that's about it. Admittedly I did stray away from social media during my burnout which has lead to a few pics building up (both SFW and NSFW if anyone was curious) so that's good.

-other life stuff- my grandparents have moved in with my parents due to too many accidents at their home (which is 3 hrs from my parents place) for comfort. They moved in a few months after I decided to move back with my parents for personal reasons. With a VERY busy house things have been chaotic, but my mom couldn't be happier that I'm home. I and my partner keep her sane as she deals with my grandparents. She needs someone younger than 90's to talk to once in while especially when my dad was working. He's home now due to the virus.

Speaking of virus-no, nobody's sick (so far) and we hope to keep things that way. Recently I learned that people with kidney disease can be affected pretty badly by Covid-19 and both me and my mom have PKD. Needless to say my partner is VERY cautious of me and has banned my mom and me from getting groceries.

Other than that, things are okay and I really hope to make Easter this year eggy. I have been doodling and trying to actually finish stuff in preparation to Egg day. Oh! Speaking of eggs, my life is soon to be expecting chickens, so IRL eggs will be happening! I am super excited ^w^ This will also give me a good excuse to go outside, which is something I don't do, much to the dismay of my partner. Hey, I walk the damn dog at least!




Okay, that was probably the longest journal I have written yet and I'm sorry for that. I just never talk and felt it might be nice to actually update you guys since I've been gone so damn long. I didn't expect life to take me to the places it has, let alone where things are going these days :\

All I can hope for is that everyone here is healthy, staying safe, and are as happy as they can be, which I know can be hard.

I'm getting tired of updating people with "Life got in the way", but that's what happened.

After planning something big for Halloween, my plans fell through when I suddenly got a burst of commissions along with another book deal! I had been planning and working hard for months on a big project, but corporate work kept on popping up and interrupting me. Some family issues also put a damper on things, but I won't go into that.
But, yes, after doing the one children's book I got commissioned a few months ago, I got commissioned for another book! This is huge news for me and I'm really excited as well as anxious because this book will need more images than the last one, which means I'll be damn busy for a while.
Although eggs will be delayed again, sadly, after I get all my work wrapped up I hope to get back into personal work and eggy work.

I really wanted Halloween to be special, but what can you do?

I have been meaning to make this journal for months now and I cannot express how sorry I am for being so absent lately to everyone.

Been very busy lately. Ever since the start of the new year life has thrown me all kinds of fun stuff (both good fun and sarcastic fun)
The start of the new year brought me lovely blue screens of death to my laptop, which scared the ever living shit out of me. It started with one blue screen every once in a while then made it's way to two. So, had to grab new one ASAP. Then there was the tiny problem of swapping art programs because this new laptop came with windows 10 and SAI doesn't seem to like windows 10...$%@!$
Tried my hand at photoshop, couldn't really get it into it during the trial, and decided against it for the time being. I still want to pursue it one day, but until then I've been using FireAlpaca. That took me a bit to figure out and sent me into a little depressive spree due to most of my files being SAI files and having to convert those bastards into PSDs. While working on learning the program, my favorite headphones that I've had for a few years decided to die on me. Oh well, just more money to spend :P
It was all a mess that my brain may have made worse, idk. I have been doing some soul searching and discovering things about myself that I don't really like and should try to fix for the better. For instance, my mate has been telling for years to stop beating myself up so much and I'm finally going to try to stop doing that. I honestly need to find an ego, which sounds terrible to me, but that's kind of the point I think lol


So after feeling shitty about my set up completely changing right down to sound quality (I sound so dramatic right now-geeze) I get a bunch of emails about work! From youtube banners to twitch icons to logos, I have been a very busy bird, which is good. I've recently been hired to illustrate a children's book, which is a huge project-somewhere around 30 full page illustrations. So that's been taking up a lot of my time. It's always good to get commissions, unfortunately, I haven't had any time to work on eggy pictures. I managed to get a couple out for Patreon, but then I've forgotten to post them here >.<; I'm going to fix that!

Generally speaking I have been super busy, super distracted, but hopefully on good track.

Hey, sorry if I haven't gotten back to you today. It's my birthday and I've been busy with family all day. My phone has been buzzing with texts since I woke up.

Today I am officially 2 years away from being 30...damn time flies o.o;

So, got swept away by family and stuff and....aw damn. That month flew by faster than I could blink!
Seriously, though, I lost track of all time. I have to partially blame my parent's new puppy for that. I was helping them take care of the little ball of energy. My parents were more than grateful for all the help ^^;

Other than that I've been busy with other little things like personal projects, etc. Nothing really special has been going on, but that doesn't mean I should be so quiet. So that's why I'm letting you guys know what happened to me.

I have a few things I plan on posting soon. I won't let October get away without one spooky egg picture! >83

After weeks of waiting, sending multiple emails, and cleaning up things, I have my patreon page back! I am so thankful that mess is over.
I really hope anyone else dealing with this gets things taking care of as well. I know I was far from alone and I'm sure there are still people waiting for something from Patreon. I really feel for all the artists affected by Patreon.
For me, I asked what I did and they didn't give me a clear answer. They told me I had violent their ToS and that was it. They didn't specify how I violated it, just that I did :\ I would have appreciated a tad bit more detail. Anything from- fanart isn't allowed, your banner was too sexy, you said the word "shit" in the description of your patreon. Anything like that would have been nice. Regardless, I cleaned and swept up as much as I could and that seems to have been enough. I'll miss my Isola banner, but I can manage :P

Thank you all for the comments as well as advice on what to do about this situation. I have made as many changes as I could think to calm Patreon down and hopefully get my account fixed. However, I have sent Patreon several messages about what I've fixed and such and still no reply :\ I understand Patreon is currently swamped from every damn artist on the planet complaining to them, but still! My Patreon is fully censored. No tat-tats exposed, nothing risque in the slightest, even my wording for posts has been changed. All I'm left with is wondering when this review will be over.

Having Patreon paused isn't stopping me from drawing, but I do feel bad to those who have pledged and I owe something to. I have not forgotten anyone. I write down everything both digitally and on paper.

My patreon is under review by the trust and safety team, which means no one can view it :\ They say I broke a guideline, but after reading through the guidelines I can't tell which one I might have broken. Everything seems fine to me. I've emailed them asking for clarification and it's been about a week and a half and they have yet to get back to me. So meh =3=
I've also seen other furry patreons that I know are 100% within the guidelines that are also under review. So I don't know what's going on.

Ugh, been dealing with that and a sinus infection, which had me up the wall for the longest time. Being sick for roughly two months sucks. If the patreon team gets back to me soon I will feel much better, but until then tissues and alka-seltzer :D


I'm sorry for those that have been missing me and wondering what's going on. Life's a bit of butt, but we all gotta push on through.

If anyone has been wondering what happened to me, I got the flu. The timing of it was so awful, too, because I had a lot of plans for this month T^T

I wanted to draw a bunch, hang with friends, and a few other things, but damn this hit me and my family hard. I could barely think and stayed in bed coughing and blowing my nose. I went through a couple of boxes of tissues and bottles of honey. I drowned myself in hot tea and alka seltzer. I hadn't been that sick in a long while and it SUCKED SO HARD! I felt like shit not being able to work or socialize, but there was nothing I could do.

Thankfully I am FINALLY feeling better and just have to shake a stubborn cough. Again, I am sorry for being gone so long. Getting sick sucks and I hope all of you are doing well and feeling good.

Damn does time fly when holidays are a foot! I am so sorry about that >.<

I have been working hard behind the scenes to gather up some lovely images for you all. I've been busy sketching and working on projects and too many things. I need to learn to sit down and work on one thing at a time ^^; A few corporate commissions slowed me down a bit too, but it's all good.

So yeah, out of the 12 people who have pledged to me last month, 9 of them had been marked as fraudulent. I'm hoping most of this is just a simple mistake and they didn't set up their paypals properly or something, but it's still really disheartening to think 75% of the people "supporting" me were actually just there to see some WIPs and early pics and then took off without being able to spend $3 to help me make rent. Like that's super disheartening.
Last month was amazing with a sudden burst of pledges. It really encouraged me to work hard. I was drawing and posting something nearly everyday. I was looking forward to chatting with people and getting some input on future pics, etc. It also meant I could take on less corporate work, which is the reason I made a Patreon. I'd rather draw a beautiful figure laying eggs than a man in a business suit pointing at a graph.
Seeing this drop has hurt me. It takes away motivation and I mean, if you think my art isn't worth $1 then why should I bother with it? I love all the watches and favs I receive, but those things can't pay my rent or buy my food.

I have recently gotten a bunch of support on my patreon and I cannot thank you guys enough. All these bits are starting to really add up and are encouraging me to keep on drawing.

With every new pledge I want to make more, but I do need help sometimes. If you pledge $5 on my patreon you can suggest things for me to draw each month (just so long as it's egg related) They can be anything from fanart, your characters, my characters, etc. If something peaks my interest I'll doodle it :)

I also have a poll open to all patrons on what species you would like me to draw more of. I tend to draw a lot of reptiles and birds and was wondering if people would like to see something other than those.

Hey, yeah, sorry I haven't been around. A lot has been going on in my life. Recently my grandfather passed away and that really rattled the family. I'm thankful I was able to see him one last time before he left. (he passed away the day after I saw him) The funeral was nice. It was bright and sunny and I got to see family I haven't seen in years. All in all not a bad day.

Other than that, I've been busy doing coroporate stuff, logos, illustrations, etc. I don't really like advertising, but just a reminder I have a patreon and the more funding I get on there the less corporate commissions I have to take and the more I'll be able to draw eggy pictures for you guys.

What else? Hmm, I think that's about it. Between family and corporate work I'll be working on new egg pics so don't worry. I'm not gone, just busy.

Wow, just wow.
So Patreon just updated their terms of service and I think just screwed over a lot of people. Normally I don't read terms of service updates unless I find it really important. This time, however, I felt impulsed and found out that you can no longer have raffles as a reward.

Really?

I know a bunch of artists who RELY on raffles as their selling point on Patreon. What the hell are they going to do now? I honestly feel so bad for them. I don't feel good with this update seeing as I just launched a few days ago, but all those other people who have been doing this far longer...man. I just don't know what to say.

Idk, I am just really peeved right now about all this. I really hope good people aren't banned because of this raffle nonsense. Seriously, almost every artist who uses Patreon has raffles :\

So it has been brought to my attention that apparently this has always been a rule and I guess everyone just ignores it and does raffles anyways? So my plan right now is to do raffles until someone tells me to stop (terms of service implies I'll get a strike) Also a few of you gave me some good ideas for how to get around this by hosting raffles on other sites and stuff like that. The problem being if I get that strike I won't be able to explicitly state in my rewards that I do raffles so I'll just have to tell you guys elsewhere and people will just have to be in the know.

I know it's been a bit and I'm really sorry about that. Recently I was on vacation with my family for about a week. It was awesome until we all got sick a few days later TT^TT God, it was horrible. I think we got the flu cause we all were coughing, sneezing, and had pretty bad body aches. I was not able to draw at all during that mess, but I'm doing much better now :D

So I’ve been completely blown away with the success of my recent ych auctions and this account in general. I mean, I really didn't expect this many watchers this quickly and I wasn't even expecting anyone to bid on my first auction. Now I’ve had a few and the winning bid is steadily increasing. I've had a couple of people who can't afford to bid 50+ dollars and asked me if I was ever planning on doing cheaper ych at a set price. so I had the idea of doing this simple little ych. And if you're not interested in this pose I will probably be doing more of these in the future.

That way I won't be spamming everyone's inboxes and the buyers can download theirs for reposting.

Hey all, sorry it's been a while since I've posted anything. A lot happened in a little amount of time.
I visited my grandparents for a few days and helped them around the house. They don't have internet so I couldn't check my messages or post anything. (or draw porn in case they walked in on me >///<) My fiance recently had his gallbladder taken out after being in a lot of pain for a long time. They had to cut him open because his gallbladder was too big to pull out through a small incision (it got infected and inflated) so now he has to chill at the hospital for a a few days. He's doing fine, but I'm currently at my parents house and away from him. It really sucks, but thankfully he's keeping me posted with phone calls and such :)
My dad almost got into a car accident after a sudden dizzy spell hit him. He made it home safe, but damn the look on my mom's face almost gave me a heart attack when he called her to tell her this.

So yeah, there's a bit more, but those are the main things that have put me back on the eggy stoof. I promise I will have lots of nice things to show off soon :D
