I will try to summarize the situation: thanks to the trends of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) TikTok, a large number of people (including children) come to the FA to "earn money from foreigners". at the same time, most of these people set extremely low prices (like $5 per art) and do not like furries at all. they do not understand that in order to earn money you need to work hard, love your business and your customers, and not destroy the economy and community.
I thought for a long time whether I should write this post: after all, due to the fact that I'm just experimenting and not so many people know me, I have to take commissions at low prices. but then I realized: I really like this site, this community and I cannot let it drown in people who do not value their work or the furry community.
initially, when I came here, I didn't know exactly what to do and how people would accept what I was constantly experimenting with in my drawings. I was even scared to draw NSFW, which I like, but when I received good reviews, I really loved this place. it helped me find myself. no kinkshaming, trolls or criticism. I endlessly love drawing monster girls, furries and beautiful characters that you let me draw. and I do not want people in this place to be perceived as money bags. of course, no need to be angry with Russian artists!! a lot of my friends are Russian and they love this community. but it is worth paying attention to the appeal of a person to their drawings and customers.
please please read this post and help spread it. I don't want people to feel like this about the furry community!!
