I Did It, It Happened
General | Posted 15 years agoIt was far from special and I eventually want to do something a little more...organized and cleaner, but here's my mini animation test featuring my fursona.

Don't go there expecting something amazing. It was 4 simple frames and less than 23 seconds. It's fun seeing Gigi moving though. Even if it's only slight movement and only for a few seconds. I love feeling as if I brought her that much closer to life by animating her.

I do love my fursona. This is the first time I can actually say I'm close to my fursona. All my other fursonas have...not quite fulfilled their purpose like Gigi. When I look at Gigi, it's like I'm looking in a mirror of some sort. Maybe that sounds weird, but I feel pretty darn connected to my fursona.

Ugh...the News Lately
General | Posted 15 years agoSince I'm quite the tabloid follower (at least when it comes to Korean celebs that is), it's been quite depressing lately. I mean, with that one member of SG Wannabe committing suicide the other day. I watched his funeral, and man, that was hard to do. Then a couple weeks ago a really popular newscast person...gosh, I mish my old English skills...committed suicide. I kind of miss seeing her on MBC News. Then just looking up all these other celeb suicides that happened in Korea. The list is larger than I thought. Korea's natural death rate might be low, but their suicide rate--omg.
I'm really worried about Big Bang's Daesung right now. Not only because I quite like him as both a singer and a television personality, but because this situation with the dead motorcyclist and car accident is ridiculous. I can't quite speculate what happened since the autopsy was literally only just carried out yesterday, but I'm hoping its good news for both Daesung and the motorcyclist. I'm sercetly hoping the motorcyclist was dead before Daesung hit him because:
1. Talk about a double whammy. Being hit once, and then being hit again. Someone in my family died that way--being hit once and then hit again and then again once more all by the same car.
2. Daesung's been through enough with car accidents. The one in 2009 where he almost died, and the one now where he may or may not have killed someone. (Though it sure wasn't his fault completely given the circumstances.)
Usually I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to celebs because they could literally be acting as someone else, but it sure seems the personality Daesung has on stage and television is legit. He seems like a real sweetheart. Like in the Secret Garden thing, I noticed everytime it showed him in the corner reacting to his part in the SG parody, he looked extremely embarassed. Now, it seems as if he exaggerated his speed just so he could put the blame on himself. I can't imagine what he's going through right now. I really hope he too doesn't break down and add himself to the list of suicide victims.
I really hate the antis even more than usual. With them calling him a murderer and such. It was a car accident not a homicide. If Daesung wasn't an idol, this never would have been blown up so much. More like a passing blurb on the news. At least the taxi and victim's family aren't being rough on him. I really hope he can pull through.

Korea has too many suicides, and all that I have written will not make sense unless you're really interested in Korean pop news.

New Challenge
General | Posted 15 years agoSo I'm going to start the 100 Theme Challenge thing. 'Cept I'm going to use 100 songs instead of 100 themes. I figured it would be a good way to motivate myself to draw more. So I'm going to pick 100 songs at random as use them as my themes. I guarantee you I'll be using more than one song from one group though. lol I'll update this thing when I upload new additions. Songs chosen directly from the songs I listen to everyday. HISTORY OF THE CHARACTER
Appearance/Species Evolution (includes dates) :
Red and white thing with pointed horns and bells tied around his tail, neck, and horns/Unknown maybe 2008 or 2009

Basic Evolution: Omen started out as an omen of death working for Lucifer. He was one of the protagonists for this story I was writing that had a similar plotline to Twilight. (lol God, I hate my old stories.) He was an omen with an unoriginal name whose job was to kill the living he was told to kill, but of course, ended up falling for my Mary Sue of a fursona after being told to kill her and get into hissy fits with the werewolf of the series (Kumete) and whatnot. He eventually became my most popular character despite his Edward Cullen cutout personality (even though I hated and still hate Twilight; hypocrite much) and unoriginal character design. I still fail to see why people liked him more than Kumete, but I guess people like characters like him--whether they admit it or not.
Anyways, so then I left the fandom, came back, brought Omen back and then decided his old self needed to be killed with fire. In late 2010, he wasn't as robotic though. He could think on his own and even had his own indie band, but lately, I scrapped that idea and brought back his robotic personality. However, he is now pretty much asexual and pretty much hates Kumete just because they're both just two faces of the same person yet don't want to admit it.
He's still being revamped though. I'm trying to balance out his original personality with that indie band personality without completely killing his character. Oi, sometimes character development is so aggrivating. OTL

Basic Evolution: Omen started out as an omen of death working for Lucifer. He was one of the protagonists for this story I was writing that had a similar plotline to Twilight. (lol God, I hate my old stories.) He was an omen with an unoriginal name whose job was to kill the living he was told to kill, but of course, ended up falling for my Mary Sue of a fursona after being told to kill her and get into hissy fits with the werewolf of the series (Kumete) and whatnot. He eventually became my most popular character despite his Edward Cullen cutout personality (even though I hated and still hate Twilight; hypocrite much) and unoriginal character design. I still fail to see why people liked him more than Kumete, but I guess people like characters like him--whether they admit it or not.
Anyways, so then I left the fandom, came back, brought Omen back and then decided his old self needed to be killed with fire. In late 2010, he wasn't as robotic though. He could think on his own and even had his own indie band, but lately, I scrapped that idea and brought back his robotic personality. However, he is now pretty much asexual and pretty much hates Kumete just because they're both just two faces of the same person yet don't want to admit it.
He's still being revamped though. I'm trying to balance out his original personality with that indie band personality without completely killing his character. Oi, sometimes character development is so aggrivating. OTL

Excluding all of my fursonas (if you even count them since all of them were completely different from my current), Kumete is the character of mine who's been around the longest without name and dramatic personality changes. (Species on the otherhand...well, that's a different story.) He is loosely based off of someone in my life.

Basic Evolution: Kumete was originally created as the main villian for this heavily cliched, Sue-dominated story that existed in my mind only. As in, I never wrote it down, thank God. He was basically the stereotypical villian that wanted to kill the protagonist a.k.a. my fursona at the time. In this story, he eventually took over my fursona and turned him (yeah, my first fursona was male) in a...Sith Lord named Darth Vader. Why? Because I was obsessed with Vader. So like Anakin before him, my fursona became a villian, and a new fursona was created. I shake my head in disgust thinking about what this story eventually morphed into--a poor Star Wars fanfic. Eventually, I came to my senses and scrapped everything except the fursona I made as a replacement for Darth and Kumete.
Well, Kumete stuck around as my fursona began to change rapidly over the course of about a year, maybe less. Then with the creation of Kiracasso, my fursona before Gigi, Kumete got a revamp in hs personality and appearance. It was nothing big, but it was enough to be called a revamp. He was thrown into another story of mine that was actually written and not as bad (though still far from good). He once again started off as the bad guy after my fursona, but then he turned into the anti-hero and soon, a complete hero. He still had a hardcore feel to him. He was still a werewolf after all. He kept the whole bad but good thing for quite a long time even after this story was also scrapped.
Then Alegna, another fursona that accompanied Kira for a short while, and Omen, who became my most popular character as well as Kumete's rival, were created and got their own story. Kumete also appeared in that story. Basically, he was in everything I did. Then, I temporarily left the furry fandom so Kumete, Omen, and my fursonas began to fade away.
However, late 2010, I came back. I started out with Gigi, Marzeltov, and Sailor then started to create even more characters--and of course, I brought back Kumete as well as Omen. Kumete got a dramatic appearance change. His personality was originally untouched even his profession as an emo poet, which is one of the positions he had in Omen's story. He and Omen were even more bitter towards each other and a third wheel, Corianne, was born.
Right now, I am working on drawing Kumete as well as Omen and Corianne to officially introduce them as characters. So this profile as well as two upcoming profiles are just the beginning.
