Hey y'all! Just wanted to say that I'm still alive and kicking and have been up to a lot of stuff outside of FA, which is why I haven't been posting too much here lately.

First off, I've been up to, like, a looooot of game dev stuff (and particularly a loooot of wacky shader work). Mostly independent/personal things that have yet to see the light of day, but also a couple of things you can check out and play right now!




In July, I worked on a collaborative project titled Yo! Noid II and I'm really proud of what we managed to accomplish together. Also we are not affiliated with Domino's Pizza Incorporated, this is a game by Noid fans, FOR Noid fans.

In December, for Ludum Dare 40, a couple of us Noid boys got together and made a small game titled Breakpoint. I busted my ass doing some overly ambitious shader wizardry over the weekend and would downright say it's some of the most ambitious code I've written to date. I'm still working on a future performance update because of one really complex behind-the-scenes pipeline, but it should work fine on most modern computers. Be warned, however, since there are a lot of flashy colors and such, so please be careful if you're prone to that.

feeling awful what with the events of the past few days and i've kinda been out of touch with a lot of friends because of it and i'm scared for a lot of them, so i'm hosting a drawpile to just chill out and try to lighten the mood a little for at least a few hours. i might be in and out for the first hour doing chores but i'm keeping it up for the evening and plan on spending a lot of time in there just to hang out with folks and draw some new stuff since i haven't been drawing at all this week.

been feeling really bad about my work lately and haven't been able to feel confident enough in anything i tried drawing for anyone so i'm trying something different and finishing up a thing i wish i had finished.

thought i should post an update since there's been a lot of crap lately.



!) near the beginning of the year, i abandoned my old identity, due to the assholes who voluntarily spread rumors about me refusing to clear things up and repeatedly shit posting about me publicly about things that never even took place, causing people to constantly bash me even in my worst emotional states, as if dealing with what i was already dealing with because of certain people wasn't enough. after continuing to receive hate and actually letting a lot of it get to me since i've already been feeling like the things people tell me, i realized that it was more important that i work on my mental health than trying to prove how strong i was. i've lost so many friends and received a lot of downtalk from the artists who i used to always look up to for years, almost all of whom have no idea what actually happened, once even right after a transaction i had with them which i felt too shitty to accept a refund from.


i no longer post on instagram, and i no longer go by my old name. that's going to stay that way because knowing how stubborn these people are, and how outrageous they are to the point of impersonating me, it's never going to be safe. i've come to accept that.


i'll try being active under gij since at least i have a few friends under this name, but it was a pretty bad blow cutting off literally everyone just because of two complete assholes who wouldn't leave me alone after i used to plead with them not to contact me.

2) for anyone who wasn't aware, i couldn't make it to FA this year since i didn't really find a room mate in time and i had some serious financial issues, among other reasons. i hope to go next year, and in costume. i still plan on going to califur this year, though.

3) all of my tablets broke. yes that's correct, the two tablets i used for digital art, are currently dead. it's likely to stay like that for a while unless i get lucky either financially or i manage to find the receipt to one of them.

basically i sent my lenovo tablet pc in to get repairs before my warranty would run out. i sent it in october, and didn't receive it until january, long after the warranty had expired. they did not call, and upon getting it back, they had cracked my screen, removed the USB covers, and basically uninstalled all of the lenovo drivers making it unusable without an externally powered keyboard and mouse and wifi adapter.

as for my intuos pro, it just stopped working last week and won't even power on with any combination of cords and ports. i started organizing an RMA request but now my receipt is gone.

regardless of if i get these fixed, i still have a commission to complete and if i have to start over again on paper, so be it.







tl'dr it's been somewhat crappy lately and i can't do digital art comfortably anymore. also my old identity is dead. hoping to have some more positive experiences soon, since this is a pretty crappy start to 2k16.



i've still got hope for things to get exciting/better soon, but for now, i just felt like getting that out there for anyone who might be curious about what's with all the pencil doodles and why my old account is at a standstill and is being deleted slowly across the web. also just felt that i should get this stuff off my chest since i don't really have anyone to talk to about some of the more aggravating stuff.

in lighter news, i'm drawing a lot of TF stuff now, and i'm happy about that. it's honestly my favorite subject and the weirdest turn on, so count on there being a lot more of that!

I still have to finish long overdue art, but since it's not gonna be a problem to do it at last, and because I'm kinda needing some extra cash, I'm thinking of opening up for maybe 5 experimental binary animation commissions? I was thinking $20 each but considering how much time and work goes into each one, and the fact that I usually go for a lot of frames, it's not exactly the best for me, but I really don't know what will sell.

so on monday several thousand people attacked me across the internet because some jerk decided it would be funny to make up a rumor that i made up lies and threatened someone who was important to me, and basically all day on monday I was bombarded with hundreds of hate messages that refused to acknowledge what actually happened just because I wasn't as popular as anyone else involved. originally I wanted to continue doing the daily elliot porn but over the last few days i haven't been able to get myself feeling well enough to do much, though im doing a little better currently, and I'm hoping to get back on track tomorrow. Sorry about kinda falling out literally one day after it began, but I'm going to keep back at it.

i guess on the plus side, i got a new computer that i can use to draw on the go, and that's cool i guess. i'm trying to do more yiff stuff, but lately i've just been extremely depressed and it's really hard to get myself motivated enough to even get up in the morning, let alone spend longer than a minute on a drawing. like no matter what i do i can't stop thinking about things after a moment. it's absolutely terrible.

at least i've been coming up with some good scenarios recently for stuff to draw, even with me losing my train of thought to the events every two minutes almost, so i'm very happy about that.

I've finally come forth and made this account public, and it hasn't been all too bad, aside from my friend  kaweki constantly cracking jokes about it for the first two weeks after she found out when I tried making a subtle hint that I draw NSFW stuff.

well i've had it for some time, but i finally got it working again!

i've never really done digital art much, and i originally bought this thing well before i began drawing (about four or five years ago).
i'm currently using paint tool sai and i'm absolutely in love with it!
the only issues i'm having though are figuring out how to clean up line art decently, how to achieve certain styles i want to achieve, avoid using just the legacy pen (cause i always get carried away with it when i wanted to learn everything else like brushes and pens) and trying to come up with ideas for (nsfw) scenes/characters to draw when i'm trying to do digital work, even just for practice!

hopefully i can iron out these issues of mine through practice, but i sure am excited! i may do some streams every now and then once i can get myself to produce something decent with this stuff.


also i'm thinking of doing some kinky mini comics for here; at least stuff that goes past the pencil sketching stage and looks decent enough to post unlike all the sketches i keep posting. i'm thinking of making some stuff around either cutesy romance, sex, vore, transformation, or some oddball combination of some of those. if you have an idea of something you might want to see me illustrate (like a kink or species for character you want to see me draw), please leave a comment or a note! i'd really like to try new ideas (and my mind's been going blank way too often lately).

also i might try doing kinky animations too, since there's almost no one that does that, and of those who do, very few who actually hand draw quality content. if anything, i can at least animate pretty well and smoothly. so maybe i'll try doing some of that for here in a couple months/

I started this alias a little while ago so I could share NSFW work without weirding out my friends and family, and so far, it's been working out pretty well! I have to say, it's nice to see some of the nice but few comments about some of the stuff I made that I liked to draw but was uneasy about. Unfortunately, starting up a whole new identity that I can't tell anyone I know anything about it, it's been pretty dang lonely, and it's real hard to motivate myself to draw all that kinda uneasy stuff I made this account for. :(


It's really overwhelming to go from beimg surrounded by a familiar crowd of friends and appreciators with a lot of close friends introducing you to people, to totally lonely and in the dark, just by switching accounts, but it's even worse when you can't do anything about it!

I want to make friends but I don't know a single person out there, and being the nervous wreck that I am, it's pretty hard to go out of my way and introduce myself to people who may or may not care. I was only able to make online friends through real world connections, but they can't exist for me here...

hey, everyone who's reading this by some chance of a miracle! i'm doing pretty fine myself, but also pretty bored. thought i'd write up a journal with how things are going currently.


i've started working on a lot of brand new art for this place, since most of the stuff i uploaded for the first month or so was old junk and really doesn't represent my current skill.


i've been working on practicing polishing up pencil drawings, since I used to do that a real long time ago. it's real time consuming (about forty minutes for this nicely detailed and polished image (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12108161/) as compared to this image (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12103651/) which took about ten or fifteen minutes (though i had to deal with almost no eraser available to attempt detailing or proper structuring which contributed to the crappiness)) but it is very helpful to work on improving my skills with polishing these kinds of traditional pieces, since i feel i have a lot more control with some things on paper than digitally (not that i'm against digital production or that i don't believe i'll ever get good at it, i just haven't been able to master it as of yet and it's not nearly as productive as my skills on paper are right now), so i might be doing a lot of stuff traditionally for the next little while. i am looking into getting some fine point pens and maybe some black and white gel pens and nice paper soon, so that i can upload much cleaner looking stuff than what i'm uploading at the moment.

so in short, expect some more polished work from me than those really crappy, super quick doodles i've been posting that look like garbage drawn up by someone who doesn't give a shit.



i've also been thinking about possibly taking requests some time. not sure if i'd be able to discipline myself to get them done so fast, but i am starting to improve my ability to get things done in general, so maybe... i'll post about that another time if people are interested enough in requesting from me. i'm pretty open to a lot of things, including some explicit/nsfw content, and wouldn't mind practicing my own style with other people's ideas.



there's not too much other news that concerns this place. i have established two characters in the past week, gij and that scruffy sheep dude. i'm starting to doodle that sheep an awful lot, so expect more of him soon. other than that, nothing really to talk about.

i'm not sure how many people are gonna see this, if any, until long after it's relevant, but it's always neat to document and archive stuff like this, so here it goes.


i've been uploading quite a few things to my accounts as of late. most of them pretty damn old (except for the bears, those are the only recent thing). most of these are pretty sloppy, unpolished, and show a poor sense of my current skill

i have been drawing some new content as of late (particularly practice with full bodies since i haven't done much of that for quite a while and got real rusty, and i've improved well beyond where my old drawings ever were), and hope to make some actually cool, new stuff for this account very soon. i've been drawing this bat fellow a lot lately, and i'm thinking that he might be pretty well received around here.

i've started up an account on here and elsewhere under this new name, gij

so i'm gij. (pronounced g-ih-j, not jij or jighj or whatever other crazy exotic pronunciation someone might come up with)

i decided to start this account to share some stuff people might like or hate. i sometimes draw somewhat suggestive or explicit things, but i do try to keep things classy and tasteful, as well as

i've been drawing for about 2 years now, inspired by a number of different things including old cartoons, but i still consider myself awfully clueless and sloppy with drawing, though that's probably greatly influenced by a lot of people i hang out with who are truly amazing artists, but they tell me they dig my work.
