Show Them Off
Posted 10 years agoI was thinking about posting some Glock pictures to the page. If you have some good stock or custom mod pictures feel free to note me and I will add them to the page. Will also give credit to the owner of course! Also please don't send any pictures of air soft guns, only real ones!
5.56 Ammo Ban
Posted 10 years agoI was going to list some sites with the information but if you are into firearms you have probably already heard about the ammo ban that the BATF is trying to push. If you have not heard about it I will try and give a quick break down.....
The popular "green tip" SS108/M855 that most consider "armor piercing" is getting close to being banned for sale in the US. It is a government grade 5.56 round that is very common in the shooting world because of its reliability and accuracy, along with its low price. They are attempting to change the definition of "armor piercing" to ban this type of ammo. I'm not going to write a book about everything involved with this issue because there are hundreds of stories and videos all over the internet that give you every little detail. I just wanted to get the word out there a little more so that hopefully this can be stopped.
Even if you do not own an AR I beg you to take a few minuets to contact the BATF to get this stopped. It is just a stepping stone in the ban of other types of ammunition. There is already a run on the stores for .223 and 5.56 rounds and the prices are climbing. Firearms are useless when there is no ammunition for them.
How to contact the BATF:
ATF email: APAComments[at]atf.gov
Fax: (202) 648-9741
Mail: Denise Brown, Mailstop 6N-602, Office of Regulatory Affairs, Enforcement Programs and Services, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, 99 New York Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20226 ATTN: AP Ammo Comments
If you would like to add onto this info or give your opinions please feel free to. I am no expert, I just try to do the best I can.
