New Species: The Cursed Ones
Posted 8 years agoWhat you're about to read has not been proofread and will need editing but it's just to give you guys an idea.
What are they?
Beings born with the mark of the cursed in many forms, doomed to live out lives with aspects of the original cursed one leading to villainous and destructive behaviors regardless of intent. Each one has a trigger that will send them on a rampage, the trigger can be small such as watching someone kill an ant, or large such as living your life in servitude to an abusive owner. The reactions however are usually proportional to how much damage the cursed one causes, those with small, frequent triggers may break a fence, those with large, prominent triggers can destroy civilizations which has happened only once.
Many have owners or masters, they rarely live in solitude in an effort to keep their powers at bay as once triggered, only the words of someone cared about, or exhaustion, can end a rampage. They tend to need a lot of love because of this, but the smaller their trigger, the less dependent they are on this. Even with the aid of such "Buffers" however, a rampage is not ensured to stop.
Why are they chosen to be cursed?
"Misery needs company" An average family of any race can end up befallen with this burden. They simply walk, usually on an outing, usually with a wife who is pregnant, when suddenly an old, frail, vagrant woman crosses their path. She asks for a small donation so that she may feed herself. If the family obliges, nothing more happens, but if they do not, they are stricken with an invisible force that they do not even feel. This is the manner in which the cursed one replicates herself, she causes those who have scorn her to give birth to another cursed one. She needs this to remain alive as she draws energy from ever cursed one in creation. It is believed that the degree to which, and the manner in which, the family denies her dictates how dependent on buffers the cursed one will be. Families that apologize for their denial are given cursed children who have small triggers, inflict pain on her however and you end up with a monster.
Appearance
Few things characterize a cursed one but the aspects that do, stand out immensely. Their hair, ears, and tail are often the same color and very wild. It is difficult to maintain "stylized" hair but not impossible. Cursed ones are often mammals, with reptiles, avians or aquatics being rare. They have a "Were" form, it is in this form that they cause the most damage. And finally, they have large, robust paws instead natural arms, outside of this they are flesh creatures.

-Resell for more than you paid unless you have BOUGHT extra art for the adopt, extra pieces from gifts, art trades or done personally may not be included in the resell price
-Make drastic changes to the goo color or orb color, those must be run by me, minor ones I will likely approve, but they will still need approval
-Use commercially, or trace the pose from your adopt (or any of my stuff) to use in other art (you may trace the limbs if you have trouble drawing them however)
-Take it out of it's species (if you buy an astro gool, you can not label it as an alien that is totally not an astro gool, it must stay an astro gool, you can describe it to another artist as however you would like to in order to describe the Astro Gool species, but it's gotta stay a Gool
-Claim that you created the design

Posted 10 years agoThis will bee the full journal for the lore of my closed species Astro Gools! i will be editing it and updating it as needed but this is their official debut!
Their colors are based off the souls they are most attracted to, everyone of them being born attracted to either
Souls that have died heavy with one of the seven deadly sins resulting in sin eaters who have darker goo with brighter soul orbs
Souls that have died heavy with one of the seven virtues resulting in virtue eaters who have pastel goo with darker glowing soul orbs
They feed specifically on the part of the soul that houses the sin or virtue they are pulled to the rest of the soul remaining suspended in their goo. They are able to take small amounts of nourishment from living souls taking only the part of the soul filled with the sin or virtue they are aligned with making tgem welcomed in some societies as they can absorb vices or inhibitions
Those with white or black goo are known as full soul eaters and use all parts of the soul and need less replenishing, they are very rare but are still aligned with either sins or virtues. These special goos are able to take entire sinful or virtuous part of still living beings leaving them completely maladjusted to society as they lose balance
Appearance
They typically have humanoid skin and bodies with limbs comprised of their goo*. The limbs are detached and cut off at the shoulder, elbow or wrist for the arms and the upper thigh, knee, or ankle for the legs. Their feet often take a simple pointed form but there are variations that are not uncommon. Their hands usually take the form of large clawed clubs with gems at the center that absorb the souls they consume, but there are variations to this shape as well. The gem and claws however are always present and are the same color as the creature's eyes. Most have animal ears the same color as their hair an other extremities that are made of their goo, such as tails or fins, that are detached like their limbs. It is thought that this is due to their strong connection to nature, further proven by the fact that those Gools that live near the water often have aquatic creature extremities and those that live purely with humans and work in settings with few animals (such as those that help run shops)** will have no animal parts at all. They commonly have white or black sclera and vibrant eyes***.

Goo Properties
By default their goo has some morphability properties. Usually they are able to at least form clothing out of it or harden it in self defense or to form weapons*. It is compactable to a degree even being able to fit into things such as boots or special made gloves so they can hide if they need to, amongst humans. Through training and practice, many gools can learn to change the shape of their "clawed clubs"** to be more paw like or more hand like in order to complete certain tasks, however it costs them so much energy that it isn't usual. Their claws are movable, retractable to a point and their thumb claws are even aposable, so there is little they can't do with them In any form making shape shifting of that area more of a cosmetic thing than anything else. In any form their claws are always present as they are attached to their goo, removal being a form of injury*.

Each Astral gool can be affected by the sin or virtue they are drawn to, and it is seen in the sclera.
Virtue eaters not affected by the virtues they eat have naturally black scelera and usually show a range of emotions with the exception of the virtue they are drawn to. On the contrary if they are overcome by the virtue their sclera becomes white and they are overtaken by the need to express that virtue however they can to the point of obsession but not compulsion. This means that they constantly seek out ways to express their virtue but only if it is in a way that is conscious so that they will be aknowledged in their expression.
Sin eaters not affected by the sins they eat have naturally white sclera and usually show a range of emotions with the exception of the sin they are drawn to. On the contrary if they are overcome by the sin their sclera becomes black and they are overtaken by the need to express the sin to the point of compulsion but not obsession. This means that they will often without thinking express their sin without regard to who may be viewing.
Society and Mating
Put simply, they have none. Being anomalies they don't usually exist in the same realm as each other but if they do they can seek each other out, though they usually don't feel the need to as they can adjust into most societies that have other monsters or creatures though they rarely live purely alone. It is not uncommon for them to live among humans, their usefulness outweighing whatever fear they may cause and can hold an array of jobs from merchant to soldier, doctor to model.
They can phase in and out of the plane of the living or spirit world, usually opting for wherever they are more welcomed and can hunt in peace. They can reproduce with most species after absorbing a part of the soul of their perspective partner. This will change their body to coincide with the species mating habits, forming genitalia necissary but by default they have human genitalia for recreational use though coming into existance with other genitalia by default (such as horse) is not unheard of especially in males. Regardless of species they stay attached to their young forming mateships, females actually incubating the young in their core in the form of an egg that absorbs souls unti it is ready to hatch, a process that can take a while as the egg converts to energy that seeps out of the mother over time, collecting in teh form of an infant being outside of the mother (or sometimes pushing themselves out of her lady parts, if they're a little antsy).
Self Defense and Injury
How a Gool defends themselves is purely dependant on what world they live in as they are adaptable but by default they are fast learners of combat and can pick up magic abilities with varying success. Their claws can grow and are sharper than most known and even unknown metals.
If they live in a world with artillery they learn how to use weapons. Melee weapons are easily formed from their goo, even bullets. Things such as guns themselves are too complex to be formed however and must be obtained.
If they live in a world where magic is a common capbility they can learn it with varying proficiency. Spellbooks and or mentors are usually required however.
If they happen to live in a world with both however, the capabilities are near endless (imagination is encouraged)
Many Gools are passive though and usually don' seek battle unless they join a military, they can be used as weapons if persuaded or paid with souls.
Injury usually only results on any part of them that has flesh. They can be healed with any form of medicine from modern to spells. Their goo alone has no healing properties but can be used to fill a wound to stop bleeding until it heals or injected to erradicate things such as poison from their veins as their blood is comprised in part from their goo.

Those who make it through the physical process have bodies still vulnerable during the mental conversion, a torturous process I which their memories are warped and played over, good ones becoming bad and bad ones becoming worse. If they break during this test of psyche and commit suicide, they often become full soul eaters, having white or black goo. Those who get to this point may or may not keep their full Zianite status
---It should be noted that the last sentece is PURELY for my screenplay, unless rp-ing with me no Gool is considered a Zianite as they are really only a thing that exists in my story further explanation can be given upon request---

What kind of monster girl should I get?
Should I try to make her myself?
What artists THAT ACTUALLY DRAW DESIGNS AND AREN'T PERPETUALLY KNOW do you know that I can comm for this endeavor?
Should I just give some monstrous fluffball were form or something? with big giant hands and stuffs?

All art cancelled for this weekend
Posted 10 years agoI had planned on working on some art but I have to cancel anything I had planned for today until teusday evening
Then I will commence
But yeah I got back from spring break and school hit me with EVERYTHING it had
So this whole weekend is dedicated to school
Now to hide my tablet from myself

Had a job interview yesterday
Posted 10 years agoOkay 1st it really sucks when you have a real serious announcement to make on april fools but I figure today will be perfect because some of you WILL think this is a joke but those who know me will know it's not
Because I had a job interview yesterday for a fulltime position at the Macy's down the street from my school if I get the job I am either going to
A) JUST stop commissions
or
B) Quit all art for a little bit to get the hang of my job
It's something I've really wanted to do, I can't stand to look at my art and I go off and on with this but if I get this job I simply won't have the time and quitting comms will be a definite
Many of you, if I don't at least have a sketch for your work will be getting refunds
Sorry, I just can't be a fulltime student, with 2 parents to help take care of and a fulltime worker with mental illness and have to worry about art
After I quit for a while I may come back to it and try to do it for therapy but this will be good for me
What this means is if you have not been a loyal commissioner in the past or a friend you may never see my art
So yeah
I won't be leaving FA but I may spend most of my time on my other two accounts
agentm-chan and 
atlasandou because I'll still be buying art
Especially with what they'll pay me hopefully *eyes sparkle*

TO BE CLEAR: I am looking for an art trade, You will be drawing one of my dreamies. This is not a dreamy art trade however as I cannot draw dreamies well so the character you give me to draw will not be a dreamy. Sorry just not going to get into an art trade where I end up being a let down.
ALSO I can draw cute characters, I draw my sona all the time and she's adorbs, but I excel at cute and sexy. SO just look through my gallery BEFORE asking if a trade is what you want

Posted 10 years agoI have a friend who will remain anonymous who has some questions maybe someone on my watch list can answer.
"I recently started binding via the folded camisole method, and when my breast (Normally a/b cup) are flattened down, one is at least half, probably a whole, size bigger than the other, and wont flatten. I'm having a hard time finding a sports bra without cups, and buying a real binder isn't an option. Does anyone know how to help flatten the stray boob? Or would a sports bra work better? Or, could this maybe be a health issue, and should I get it checked out?"
