Posted 10 years ago I've been sick for the last two weeks or so, and to be nice my Mom decided to get me a couple books. Something she use to do when I was younger. She's kind of on/off target when she's being nice XD
First book was "A Stainless Steel Trio" by Harry Harrison. Which is AWESOME! It's a compilation of the first three Stainless Steel Rat books(actually those are like books 6, 7, and 9 in release order =P) Where I have the first run of each book but having the three in one is great because they are kind of old and I don't want to cause more wear to them.
Next one I marked under trying her damnedest. She got me "Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard" by Rick Riordan. She knows I love mythology and confused Rick Riordan with Robert Jordan... I've only seen the first Percy Jackson movie and never wanted to read the books after that. So far Magnus seems to be a Norse copy of Percy, but instead of a summer camp it's a hotel. I noticed Mr. Riordan seems to like the fathers being gone and the mothers dying in the stories then I seen on the spine of the book ~DISNEY~ which explained it XD

Posted 10 years agoWell I've been watching my uncles dog for about 8 months now, he had to move and couldn't take her. August 5th she had an infection in her dew claw so he had to take her to the vet. Then he took her over to his buddy's house because he wanted her, she ran away the next day. We looked all over for her but couldn't find her. Then today we found her in the adoption section of the paper. Here she was picked up the 7th in a parking lot about a mile from my house(20 from where she started from) and was bounced around 3 different shelters. But now she's back with me(can't be trusted with my uncle =P) and first thing she did was jump on the couch and started snoring XD
And my lovely car decided to fuck with me. I tried to put the key in the ignition and couldn't, just the tip would go in. Apparently there is a little metal flap that pops up in the cylinder. Needed to use the file off a pair of nail clippers to pop it back, to unlock the ignition...
So Karma remains in balance once more!

Posted 10 years agoAfter almost four years of living in this rental I broke down and got an air conditioner. I didn't before because the windows are the tall thin type that crank open, so the window AC units was a no go. Then this weekend I seen an ad for a portable AC unit,but it needs a vent to the outside to run right. So the living room window(row of 4 tall thin and useless) looks redneck as all hell with white garbage bag covered cardboard box with a roll and a half of white duct tape blocking the rest of the 6' window that the 4" vent leaves out. Now after $430, an hour of taping, this place is finally bearable!

Posted 11 years agoToday my dog passed away. She wasn't doing to well for a while now but this morning she started having seizures and died on the way to the vet. Miss you my brown eyed girl.
Weird Pets
Posted 11 years agoI know most people have dogs, cats, fish, birds, some even a reptile of some sort. I knew a girl in high school that had rats, even going as far as walking around with them in her hair(also told me that she wanted to get her butt cheeks pierced and run a chain between them to see if it would slice her shit in half... So she might not count as 'normal' in this.) I have seen all sorts of small mammals as pets even skunks(de-musked). Most are kept at home even if seeing a ferret on a leash is cute...
But to day at work I seen a woman chase down her pet rooster. She was just enjoying a drive with him and had to get fuel and he decided to hop out and take a walk around the station.

Posted 11 years agoI'm getting so hyped for Nov 21st.
Now I'm not too sold on Mega Sceptile, or Mega Sableye(the broken Prankster set is better imo)
Mega Altaria looks promising stepping up from being a Sdef wall to a good attacker getting Pixilate(fear the Hyper Voice!), plus being the first Dragon/Fairy is awesome.
Mega Salamence is moving out of the glass cannon set with its def boost. And with Aerilate it finally gets good Flying STAB moves!
Mega Metagross is just OP... high Speed boost, plus Attack, SpAttack, Def and Spdef, with Tough Claws. I think GF is over compensating for the loss of its Dark and Ghost resistances.
Finally Mega Lopunny gains Fighting type and Scrappy ability with a high boost to Attack and Speed, about time it will be able to use all the nice attacks it can get, and see the end of the Switcheroo sets. I only hope they bring back move tutors for Drain Punch.

New Neighbors
Posted 11 years ago Got some new neighbors in the connected duplex. They seem alright enough people, mid 20's and have a friendly boxer mix.
Ever been kneecapped by a dog with a baseball bat? Who would even give a damn bat to a dog? Sure it's cute seeing him swing it to hit his ball, but not when the son of a bitch starts running at you with it! Now when I see him outside I ask if he has his bat or not...
Only other thing is they like to have sex around 1:30/2am and have their headboard on our shared bedroom wall. First couple of times I let it go, young love and all... Then after two week of it I started blaring Tenacious D, Fuck Her Gently every time they really get going.

On and off for about seven years I've played, last time was just about a year ago. But now they have a new expansion coming out and they added a level 90 character boost to the pre-orders where if you have a level 60 or above it also boosts your professions (main, secondary, first aid) and gives you lvl and build appropriate armor/weapons.
Now I had a lvl 81 Worgen Druid healer, but she had shit armor and almost noway to earn gold or Valor points to get better gear... So I used the boost to get the good armor set. And therein lies the problem, it is marked as such so every ass-hat in dungeon finder complains about the "Fucking power lvled NOOB this is fail!!" So that one gets the "noob healer" treatment XD. The only heals they get are from Swiftmend, Wild Growth, or Genesis(AoE Heals). It's fun watching them go into the red :D

Posted 12 years agoSo I'm trying to get great pokemon breed and I seen that Greninja's shiny form is this cool jet black with red tongue scarf. So I start with breeding an Outstanding Froakie with Hp, Def ,SpA, SpD, Speed, timid nature with Protean and a Jap Ditto with SpA, Speed. Now I've been hatching eggs for three days got the Hatching O power to level 3 and several boxes of Outstanding Froakies but no shinies... Then tonight I finally hatched a shiny Superior Att, Speed with Torrent.... So yeah my luck with shinies is holding strong.
Machin Shin is still okay with Expert Belt(poor mans Protean) but now I'm just going to raise one of his non-shiny sisters.

So far I have Twitch the Galvantula with Sticky web to start off the slow down, then Sandra the Goodra with Gooey Ability, Big Bad Mama the Mega-Kangaskhan with Bulldoze(doubles the speed drop with Parental Bond), Falon the Talonflame with Gale Wings(actually allows you to hit before Sucker Punch!) and Flame Charge. And I team them up with some slow tanking pokemon that are faster than most after the speed traps :XD:

Posted 12 years agoSo the Safari zone in XY is now based on you 3DS Friend list. You get one type per person, 2 different pokemon if they don't play/haven't beaten the E4, 3 different if they have beaten E4, and the pokemon have their hidden ability if your friend is online with you at the same time.

With the different transformations, anthro, ar, ap, tg, feral, taur, growth, shrinking, and the like one thing I haven't ran across is what happens with body modifications.
I mean like earrings and most piercings would stay the same. But what about like nipple piercings on a feral morph that doesn't have nipples on the chest(like horse or cows). Would the nipples migrate to where the udders are or just fade into the chest leaving the piercing in the skin? Also what about gauging in humans that is a fatty bit of skin but most animals have just cartilage. So what happens then? Holes in the ear cartilage or in the loose skin near the ears?
Next what about teeth and bones. Most people have at least one cavity filled, so what happens with a were/anthro/feral transformation. Some of the main stream transformations have the teeth fall out being replaced by the more animalistic teeth, but what of the ones where the teeth reform? Would the filling break the tooth, fall out, or just be painful as all hell? Then what if you had a broken bone where it needed a steel plate or screws. What would happen with the shift in bone length? Just have it rip the bone/limb apart in the growth/shrinking?
And finally plastic surgery. How would a nose job carry over to a anthro/feral, would the cut off bits regrow or would the snout/muzzle be really deformed from the bits missing? And finally boob jobs. Now the anthro transformations wouldn't be affected too much, but an AR, tg, or feral how would those sacks of saline react? Well a tg transformation would just carry over to moobs, but how would say a wolf transformation deal with that? Different chest shape and all? Or with the AR how would a child shape hold up to that?

Posted 12 years agoWell just seen the new trailer for X and Y, and all the Dragon-type lovers have something new to fear. The all mighty Jigglypuff as a new Fairy-type has been revealed and is super effective vs those giant beasts. So more to fear than Ice, Dragon, and walling Steel now. So far Marill, and Gardevoir where also shown as old pokemon with the new typing.
Just makes me wonder what Fairy-types are weak too. Steel, going for the cold iron weakness from myths. Beyond that I really don't know what other cause able weakness in the typing. Like willowisps are fire and sometimes called fairies. Maybe Psychic, because if you don't believe they loss power?

Posted 12 years agoI've been getting calls for Davis, be it Mike or Emily, ever since I moved(new area new number...) Now some of them have been really good about taking my number off their lists, all except IC System.
It's a shady debt collector agency(thank you internet because the fuck heads won't say.), that calls 3-5 times a day asking for either of the Davis. Now I have been rather nice each time. First I said wrong number, they don't live here take me of the list. And they gave me the 24hour to remove the number spiel. Then they call back, "Still wrong number."
This has been going on for months, they call "wrong number." or I ignore the call they call back again and again. So I've made a game of it now.
Told the first guy to get the dick out of his ear so he could understand that this was not the Davis home.
Then the perversion started...
Asked the lady what her bra size was, then no tell me your weight first because fat chicks don't do it for me even if they have bigger tits.
Asked the next guy if pedophiles could get off looking at a midget in a diaper.
Asked another if he ever got a hole in one, you know shot your load whacking off and it land in your bellybutton.
Asked another lady if a man could fit a sharpy in his piss hole would it impress her.
Asked a guy that if I washed the carrot really good after sodomizing my girl with it would it still be good to eat.
And yet they continue to call, I'm really starting to like this determination they have.

Embarassing Moment...
Posted 12 years agoMy right knee pops out every once in awhile, more like jams half open, and I have to twist my leg till my foot is about waist high for it to pop/unlock. I've been told to take a hot bath to ease the pain when this happens and with this new place I'm at I haven't tried to take a bath before(I'm kind of on the large size for standard tubs ^^;). So I fit kind of tight in the tub however I didn't think about getting out that I'd have to use my right leg... I end up having to roll over into a pushup to get out.

Posted 12 years agoWell I've been hunting for MMO's ever since CoX closed down. I've tried WoW and that was fun for a bit but that got boring after a while. Now I've moved on to Marvel Super Squad Online https://www.heroup.com/ . Yeah it's set up for kids but it is fun, and also holds some "in jokes" for comic fans(on one mission Miss Marvel ask Rogue to "Stay over there please." XD). It is free to play or $9.95 a month and the free players don't get gipped badly either(just special alt/costume heroes you can buy).
So far my favorite is Firestar(free after a quest to boot!) nice range and her second power move is a moving wall of fire that kills little minions and stuns the others.

Posted 12 years agoJust finished Wheel of Time; A Memory of Light. Wow was it worth the 20 plus years wait to finally see it finished! Kind of sad to see several characters die(but what could you expect from The Last Battle?). Some of the best parts(to me anyway) The return of Noal/Jian Farstrider, Lan's solo charge and duel, Thom's guarding was possibly the funniest part in the book. The only problem I had was with the abrupt end, no really cool down from the fast pace of the battle to yeah we're great now...
I really hope Brandon Sanderson would write a series or even a single book based in The Age of Legends. With all the little snippets of the Forsaken, it'd be great to see their fall into the shadow.
