jabbershire-cat ) back after the holidays though :) I haven't had it as an avi for very long ^^
uh....
so this is a short journal XD

Posted 14 years agoAhhhhh That feels much better. uploading the Tangible hearts pages I have finished feels GREAT. not only will I be able to continue working on it now, but It won't feel like dragging myself through mud and nails....

Posted 14 years agoWOW today was GREAT! I got off work early, went to the art room, finished my watercolor painting, saw jabbershire-cat, ChimeraDemonX , 
pure-ruby-dragon and my old art teacher :) Then ruby and I went to coffee traders for hazelnut hotchocolates and got to talk with 
vivlandi-basil over the phone in the first time since omg-forever, and then we ran into our old librarian, and had a nice chat, and now I get to decorate a legit Gingerbread house! homemade tasty gingerbread... yum. this thing is gonna be beast. Not as big as the one we made a few years back though...that one was a model of our irl house, and it was HUGE. like, MASSIVE HUGE. like BIGGER THAN A 9x13 in PAN OF CAKE huge. yes, that huge.
Life is GREAT! oh, and did I mention Ruby got me this SWEET steampunk pouch with 3 glass bottles in it? and it's real leather too....I will post pics in a bit :3 .MY LIFE ROCKS SO MUCH!!! <3 <3 <3

Posted 14 years agohey! so I thought I'd update my journal so I don't have a depressing one about me upchucking the day before thanksgiving on my profile for a year and a day XD
soooo I was better thanksgiving morning, seems I'd just caught a 24 hour bug. (more like 12 hour, but whatev) Which turned out to be a blessing, because I didn't have to help prepare any of the food, but I still got to enjoy it ;D (and with my family thanksgivings, there is a LOT of food to prepare! this year we had over 23 people, I believe!)
mnyeah. what else to say.....

soooo I was better thanksgiving morning, seems I'd just caught a 24 hour bug. I was hoping it was just something off that I ate (since I was okay right after upchucking, and was able to eat lunch...) unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case since I literally lost my lunch a couple of hours later. :iconruncryplz

So I've been a very naughty girl. You know that project/manga I'm supposed to be working on?
....only 2 pages done as well as the title page/spread.
shame on me, shame. : runcryplz:
well, what can I say, I was in a rut for a while! but In the last two days I've done 6 small sketches, and 3-4 big ones (full page) so I think I'm back into the artsy mode.
before I was watercoloring a picture too, but that was more of a 'lets try adn kickstart creativity, shall we?" and it worked a bit :P : iconthatsgreatplz:
*sigh* oh well. Good thing I have a 3 hour car ride and a thanksgiving break to do more of the pages x3
STRESSSSSSSS - Registration for my college classes begins in TWO DAYS! and I still havn't figured out my schedual for sure. it's so confuzing! I hope I selected all the classes I have to/need to take......

[btw, plz ignore the absolutely non-flowing randomosity wtf-ness of this journal- I'm too lazy to try and make things relate. XD]
I've really begun to love owl city and Adam young more lately, I mean, I've always loved it, but lately I've been in a very contemplative mood, which always makes me want to listen to his great music. I read some blog posts of his and now I'm hooked. he really does have a way with words. : iconiseeplz:
Doctor who made me beat a pillow in unhappy bewailing frustration. The episode where the tenth doctor dies is JUST TOO SAD. :icon cryfaceplz: I mean, I love the eleventh doctor, too. he's funny, quirky (no like bacon, but like FISHTICKS AND CUSTURD!??!?!) but I really miss david tennant. I've never hands down had a favorite actor before, but I think I have found mine in david tennant. He's also spectacular in the Royal shakespere's company production of Hamlet.
and HURRRGH I NEED TO GET A USB! I cannot find the two I have =3= methinks the siblings borrrowed em' and the school ate em'

uh....and I found some socks I really like! :D they are this argyle [probably not spelled right, my little sis introduced me to the term :P yes, I fail] pattern in greys, black, and bright pink skinny lines x3 I've actually had em' for EVER but I never really wore them. I wonder why.....

neolucky is in the end stages of renal failure and has been on dialysis.She's been going through a very hard time, and we can help her! donate towards her kidney transplant!
I haven't met her, but some great people I watch are personal friends of hers. All I've read points towards her being a very nice and caring person.

Posted 14 years agolol, actually, it's not that much of a spam..only 4 pictures....but oh wells. :) I figured that I might as well take pics and put them up (since you guys NEVER see my traditional stuff :P)
not to mention if I waited to scan them...well, the apocalypse would've come and gone by then.
and most of em' were big enough that a scanner would have to be FREKAIN' HUGE to fit em'.

and you may see art a little less frequently from now on, as I have to get my rear in gear, cleaning my room out so I can leave for college in January, and I have a big project I want to get done by christmas for you guys :3 (I'm talking a one-shot manga thing. VEeerrrrrry short, but whatevs like....max or 16 pages prolly XD ;P)BUT YOU CAN'T SEE ANY OF IT UNTIL IT'S DONE! which is gonna kill me, cuz one of my pet peeves is once I finishe something, I GOTTA upload it RIGHT away or I go insane! hahahahhahahahhaahha I'm stupid. let's see how long I last.
and i'm also working on a realistic piece that is gonna take a year and a day to finish >8I

I love Graduation if only because of this. I mean. I Gots me a LAPTOP! SQuee face! & its a touch screen with a built-in Wacom! you can rotate the screen & Click it back down so it is a tablet that is the screen! happy face! not to mention the pen handily slides into the base of the laptop So it's no bother. also, it looks retro n' stuff, which I like & that will make people not want to Steal it, coz it looks like its older!
Love Love Love! Icannot even begin to express my happys right now! AND my Dad found the long lost Corel painter installation CD that has been eluding Me. And the best part? I wrote all of this via pen. This laptop is truly magical & can read my handwriting. :3
Plus it has this cool Fingerprint login thing, so someone Couldn't hack it easily if they wanted to.... X3
either way... I am so thrilled! YAY!
I love Graduation if only because of this. I mean. I Gots me a LAPTOP! SQuee face! & its a touch screen with a built-in Wacom! you can rotate the screen & Click it back down so it is a tablet that is the screen! happy face! not to mention the pen handily slides into the base of the laptop So it's no bother. also, it looks retro n' stuff, which I like & that will make people not want to Steal it, coz it looks like its older!

I am graduating from highschool.
it's about time.

WORKING ON: Manga, like, a bajillion and seven roleplays, a few personal projects, watercolor painting, ect
READING: High School Debut, Cryers Cross

Duck stamp is finally done and sent in! good riddence. I honestly think there is no way I will win, I don't like it and I think another one done by a girl in my school is WAY better. :\ also doesn't help that the last week where I was going to touch it up and get help from my teacher, he was sick *cryface*
WON RUBY'S CONTEST! whoot! it was fun, and I had to practice: a) drawing guys (XP I suck at guys) b) drawing people I know to make it look remotely like them c) drawing other people's characters (pretty much all my art is OC's)
