The puppet of the gryphon speaks - question and answer meme.
Posted 12 years agoThis was confiscated from :paradox043: after he tried to conspire against me. He will suffer more, rest assured.
But yes. This is the human puppet who I dominate in order to experience life through his eyes. He's rather cute, if a bit dim - he has the audacity to think I'm just a creation of his mind! Yes, the little fool really thinks he's "making these stories" up, rather than the truth: that I simply project them straight into his brain. Silly little creature.
Anyway, this is him speaking now. I may drop in occasionally.
1 Name:
Owen. Far better than if I'd been female, in which case I'd apparently be "Polly". I lost so much respect for my parents when I found that out.
2 Age:
Mentally? About three. That's three months. X3
3 Sex:
No thanks, we're briti-oh. Okay. Male, then.
4 Height:
Above sea level? No? Oh, okay. 5'10", then. Hoping I might reach six foot before my body fully gives up the ghost, but... it may just stay like this. Oh well. :3
5 Hair Color:
Strawberry blonde. Strawberries not included.
6 Eye Color:
Blue-grey.
7 Body Type: Difficult to say. I'm fairly muscular and heavily built, but I actually tend to look quite skinny 'cos I have long limbs. Beh.
8 Religion:
Officially (I did put it on the last Census), I'm a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Unofficially... fairly strong atheist. I just don't believe religion and science should be even considered on the same level as possible explanations for phenomena.
9 Ethnicity:
Gryphon. Alternatively, white caucasian. :3
10 Orientation:
Pansexual. You're all lovely.
11 Status:
Courting, shall we say.
~Favourites~
12 Color?:
Blue. And black. They all have their beautiful parts. C:
13 Soda?:
Schweppes lemonade. Tastyyyy.
14 Store?:
Have to be Games Workshop. I just love their universes - 40k is, for me, without the greatest science fiction world ever. No contest.
15 Animal?:
Seriously? Take a look at my name, my stories, my avatar, my artwork, and the innumerable times I have expressed my adoration for half-avian half-felines, and guess.
16 TV Show?
Has to be Sherlock. Who'd have thought a show featuring deranged genii and sadistic egomaniacs would be my thing?
17 Book?:
Terry Pratchett, who is my personal god of writing, and his Discworlds. Plus almost anything by Stephen King.
18 Music?:
Quite a mix. I adore cinematic music - Two Steps From Hell - but also enjoy a variety of rock and punk - Greenday, Bowling for Soup, Snow Patrol - some of the more pop style bands - the Feeling, Adele - and in particular the glorious happy-fest which is Owl City.
19 Song?:
It changes. Right now... "You're gonna go far kid" by the Offspring.
20 Band/Artist?:
...damn it, I just did this. Look above.
~This or That~
21 Soda or Juice?:
Juice is still tastier.
22 Music or Internet?:
I'm not giving up my tunes. Sorry, internet... but I can't stand Facebook and try to ignore funny kittens, so apart from these communities I write on, I'm not losing out too much.
23 Rock or Rap?:
Rock! Rap is just... no.
24 Dogs or Cats?
Dogs. I have a cat who may have inspired Damian in terms of pure cuddly yet ruthless evil. Dogs are safer and more active in snuggling. ^3^
25 White or Black?
Mmm... I like the darkness. Black it is. Sorry, Alex.
26 Myspace or Bebo?:
Does anyone even use either of those anymore? Well, regardless... it's neither.
27 Cell Phone or I-pod?:
iPod. For thy phone shall always be forgotten. (Seriously, I hardly ever use the thing, and when I do need to use it, I probably don't have it with me.)
28 Curly Hair or Straight Hair?:
Straight. It's nice hair, I think. C:
29 Lap-Top or Computer?:
Hmmm. Computer has to be the winner, as handy as the laptop is. The keyboard is so much better.
30 Corded Phone or Cordless?
As if I'd have a conversation in less than three different rooms! Cordless it is.
31 Mountain Dew or Pepsi?:
Don't really drink either, so... Mountain Dew has been known to be tastier.
32 Pen or Pencil?:
Pens. So much more clear and defined... until they start running out. PLUS - you can dismantle them and attempt to put them back together - I can reassemble a proper ballpoint pen (not just a biro) in less than twelve seconds.
33 MP3 Player or I-pod?:
Didn't I just say iPod for something else? Well, it's still iPod here. Tasty Apples.
34 Phone or Internet?:
Internetz. Show me the phone where I can
35 Single or Taken?:
Told you, courting a good friend of mine. Technically I'm married to her, but I don't think a fifteen minute ceremony between giggling teenagers during a Duke of Edinburgh expedition (using a ring made of ferns) exactly counts. XP
36 School or Work?:
I'd prefer to do neither. >:D But currently it be school. : P Can't find even part-time work, so these commishes are very delightful to me. :3
~Random~
37 What do you do on your spare time?:
When I get it apart, after the various activities, musical instruments two different productions, and revisional homeworking (yes I know I brought this on myself)... I write. Hadn't you noticed that? I also enjoy trying to draw and computer games. I do not enjoy sleep, which is why I take every oppurtunity to miss it. :P
38 What's your usual clothing style?:
I have a major thing for long coats. Beautiful badass long coats. Beneath that... skinny trousers are excellent, and I really like leather/rocker style jackets
39 Are you single or taken?:
You've done this before! I won't even answer this time...
40 Are you a virgin?:
Yep. My body is ready to be offered to the gryphons.
41 What do you think of one night stands?:
If you want, but I think sex should be between lovers. More fun.
42 Do you have any pets?:
More pets than sense, I think is the consensus.
43 If yes, how many?:
One loving dog, two ancient and murderous cats, two beautiful bearded dragons, and several siblings. :3
44 If you were to be anywhere right now, where would you be?:
Onstage, about to recieeve the Nobel Prize for Literature. 8D
45 Why?:
I want to write. And I want to write really well.
46 Ever gone Camping?:
Oh, yes. There is something absolutely heavenly about being snuggled and listening to the rain you ARE NOT IN.
47 Have you ever caught a fish and ate it?:
No. I'm more a "capture your prey after stalking them for seven years, tease and torture them until they're begging for it to end, then swallow them whole" sort of guy. Fish don't work so well with that.
48 Have you ever gone water skiing?:
Oh, yes. It was awesome.
49 Have you ever gone water tubing?:
That's... when you use a tube? I don't think so...
50 Have you ever gone skiing on a mountain?:
Yesyesyesyes. I adore it,I've done it several times, and I'm doing it again sooooon.
51 Have you ever gone tubing on a mountain?:
WHAT IS THIS TUBING YE SPEAK OF? 'TIS WITCHCRAFT.
52 Have you ever gone Snowboarding?:
I'm going to be trying it soon. I expect pain. :3
53 Ever gone to church?:
Used to, don't anymore except for the Christmas Eve Christingle. Even that's not really my thing.
54 Ever gone out of State?:
Er... I live in England, and I've only been IN-state once. Florida,a nd very lovely it was too.
55 Ever gone out of the country?:
You aren't listening to my answers, are you? Yes. Apart from Florida, there's a lot of places in Europe - France, Italy, Austria, Turkey, Greece and a few others - and Morocco and Egypt of Africa.
56 Do you resemble anyone famous?:
Imagine, if you can, the love child of Genghis Khan and Ronald McDonald. I am nothing at all like that.
57 Are you related to anyone famous?:
Technically... Harry Potter. Honestly. His father is played by my second cousin in the films. 8D
58 If so, who?:
You aren't reading this at all. I'm tempted to just eat you.
59 Do you think you're hot?:
Smokin'! >B)
Eh, i think I'm pretty good in that department, I just rarely have the interest and courage to return affections. : P
60 Do other people think you're hot?:
As of the last year, quite a few have. I think my writing has given me a confidence boost of sorts, so thank you very much indeed. :D
61 Do you think your skinny?:
Not exactly... I'm fairly muscular, but I may appear a bit skinny thanks to my long limbs.
62 What year were you born in?:
I was too young to remember it. XP
63 Ever been on a blind date?
Nah. If I don't really know you well, I probably won't feel much connection - I tend to be quite slow to start liking people.
64 What do you enjoy doing when your bored?:
I try to write, I succeed to waste time watching amusing youtube vids, I attempt to stab people in the face in various eras of history via the good ol' animus.
65 What do you do in the summer time?:
Much the same. But with more paddling pools.
66 Do you live in a house?:
Indeedy. Very nice house it is, too.
67 What do you have on your mind?:
"Let's see if we can pass 30,000 words tonight." "Also, you twit, SAVE your work this time." DX
68 What time is it?:
Dinner time! *licks beak* Now, come here, little interviewer. This is what you get for asking pointless questions... and looking tasty.
But yes. This is the human puppet who I dominate in order to experience life through his eyes. He's rather cute, if a bit dim - he has the audacity to think I'm just a creation of his mind! Eternity of Despair - TToT flavour text
Posted 12 years agohttp://www.furaffinity.net/view/8056965/
Added some flavour text to this picture here, as Alex for once is the one who muses on the sheer cruel agony of his fate. He doesn't dare speak the name, but he can certainly try and think about it.
After all, that pain and agony and his capacity to experience it, his desire to try and save himself from the irrestible excruciation (soon, little one, soon) despite the unforgiving knowledge that it will never happen is what makes him so... perfect.
I'm intending to start getting more illustrations of these two. After all, they are my most beautiful pairing. :3

A plea for help from the computerishly minded: ACIII problem
Posted 12 years agoNow, when I'm not ruling an empire with a grip of iron, tormenting some unfortunate, or generally being the insane gryphon that I am, I like PC gaming. In particular, the most excellent series Assassin's Creed, which I have fallen in love with over the past year. Therefore, when a friend of mine offered to buy me the third installment via Steam, I was delighted. (Still ate him, but anyway...)
However, delight was but a cruel fantasy, as the game is simply not working. I have reinstalled it several times, scrolled through any support I can find, and the problem has not stopped. It's very, very frustrating.
Henceforth, this is an appeal for aid. If someone does manage to give me the crucial recommendation of what to change or what part needs upgrading, and it works, they'll get a free short story commission (Up to 3,500 words, say) from me as expression of gratitude. I'd really like to get this working. Thank you for any help you can give.
Problem is as follows:
I bought the game via Steam, and it seemed to download and install perfectly well. I didn't play it immediately, waiting a couple of days before I first tried to launch the game from my Steam library. I immediately recieved a message (after the note about the product code) saying "Preparing to launch Assassin's Creed III" - all as usual. This then changed after half a second to
"Performing first time setup
Installing UplayInstaller.exe (Step 1 of 1)"
This remained for a couple of seconds (during which my status did not change to "in-game") and then vanished, upon which my status did change to "in-game"... for about two seconds, when it changed back to "online" (but not playing anything). The game did not launch.
I have tried this again and again, even reinstalling the entire game, but it continues to yield exactly the same results - including the "first time setup" notes. Uplay Installer certainly does seem to be installed - I've done it myself, and checked through the folders for it - but there is indisputably no change.
I've been able to play the first four Assassin's Creed Games with no difficulty at all, there is certainly enough space, the files are definitely installed, and I'm fairly certain my computer's systems are up to it. Yet the problem persists.
Below is what the diagnostics programme ctells me are the computer's systems, if the info is helpful.

Posted 12 years agoTo one and all of you. ^v^ Hope you had/are having/will have a great one.
Worse news, however... the laptop is dead. The computer has lost the internet. All we have is my father's computer to connect to teh internetz, and he won't let me download YIM or Steam... so I may be quiet for a few days. It is intensely annoying.
Ah well. Happy holidays, people.

My writing schedule: what's coming soon.
Posted 12 years agoBusy busy busy. I have a lot of things to write... so I thought I ought to try and keep track of it all, via this handy journal announcing the tales which are to come. I will try to keep it up to date.
Current - The Taste of Terror Chapter 6: Where The Heart Is. The continuation of my flagship series, http://aryion.com/g4/view/215661. Damian and Alex return, and as the shadows start to rise on their world, the snowy-furred victim breaches new depths of despair... and his dark murderer breaches the first layers of his own nature. One thing is certain: Alex will suffer.
1 - The Liar and the Labyrinth: A group of friends are on the ultimate expedition: a two-day trek through some of the most magnificent caverns of Actura. They're prepared for collapses, getting lost, flooding, and just about everything imaginable. But not for the plans of their newest member, who is beyond imagination. Let the games begin... A considerable commission for Aeznon (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/aeznon/), featuring several characters (I may be taking cameos) and as you may have guessed... the return of manipulative genius and young Voidtouched Finn. There will be a lot of fun here.
2 - Untitled as of yet: a commissiono for Tatsu, ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/tatsuaikuchi/ ) featuring his very sexy, very predatory dragon Otep. Still in development.
3 - The Actura Sacrifice continues to grow in momentum, with the introduction of a new character who I shall for now only refer to as Esmeralda. Ideas are still in development...
2013 is going to be an enjoyable year, I think.

The Royal Court: places open for anyone.
Posted 13 years agoNow, anyone who has read some of the description I have created of my magnificent gryphonsona Goldeneye - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9172263/ - might be aware that the wreath of office upon his feathered head is the crown of the Serapian Empire, which, due to a long and complicated story, Goldeneye is Emperor, commanding ruler, and deity of.
The Serapians are roughly based on the Persians in terms of culture, tech, and design. Although Goldy's work has made them quite a bit more cosmopolitan.
Now, having a telepathic genius who can take on entire armies has brought some success to the formerly failing city-state of Sera, and it has flourished under the gryphon's command, ruling an ever-expanding realm with trade and all areas of science and the arts flourishing.
To keep track and command of his ever growing, ever changing kingdom, the Emperor has formed a Royal Court of advisors, powerful nobles, subordinates, and those who interest him. Just about any role which can be imagined may be fulfilled - as well as his frequent interdimensional travels bringing back individuals from other civilzations.
Therefore, he needs to form this royal court. And he wants you to be in it.
So in essence: simply give me a character, species, possibly a ref, and what role they might like, and you'll have a place in my court. This may result in short mentions in crowd scenes - I intend to write quite a few tales in this setting, believe you me - cameos, to advance plots of stories, or even maybe pivotal roles in a plot - if I want your character to do something important, I'll be sure to ask you.
RULES FOR ENTRY:
Any species allowed. The world itself is populated by normal bipedal furries only, but the gryphon may well induct members from other worlds from his travels. So anyone can join.
We may have more than one in each role. I do suggest original thinking, but if you really want to be the gryphon's paw-cleaner and such a role is already taken, you can join your partner in the work. This may not apply to all roles, and you will have to share the spotlight, but it's not taken just because it's taken, shall we say.
Submissive to the gryphon: Goldeneye is unequivocally the ruler of this world, and he knows it. The character, whoever and whatever they are, will be submissive to him - whether forced to by his power or willingly. Anyone who has even a chance of challenging his dominance (Pretty unlikely, considering that he is functionally immortal, can read minds and reshape matter, and has the strength and speed of a god) will not be granted a place, I'm afraid. This doesn't mean you can't try to kill him, though. Just that you won't succeed, and you will generally end up in a dark, tight chamber to think about what you've done.
Sizes - non-macros preferred. Goldeneye prefers to have the advantage in size as well as power, and may not be so interested in those bigger than him (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8893531/ - size ref) - apart from anything else, it's very tricky to swallow them.
There aren't many other restrictions that I can think of, so... come and join me. : >

Introducing... NOT JUST VORE ANY MORE.
Posted 13 years agoBecause I am now beginning to expand, with the creation of an account dedicated to non-vorish writings. Find me at
SirMorganTransplant
This is largely thanks to
Gigren , who gave me a request for an entirely non-vorish story in return for some artworks which I have high hopes for. The finished result, Returning Home, is a semi-folkloric tale of hope and love... from the prespective of a lone maple leaf. It can be found here at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9171779/
Here's hoping that both Goldeneye (me) and Transplant (also me )have long and fulfilling writing careers. Thank you.

Claiming Death's Due: Read the tale as it unfolds!
Posted 13 years agoI'm writing another collaboration with the eternally excellent
Lolno . This one will introduce new characters for both of us:
Squirrel and haunted semi-genius Silas Morgani has always wanted to find answers, and now, after the... incident, with his mind suddenly starting to think in terms of an alternate, impossible dimension - almost some kind of afterlife - he has become hellbent on gaining the truth.
Cereos, colossal brutish minotaur and mighty shaman acts as a truancy officer for the dead, returning escaped spirits to their place of rightful rest, by whatever means his merciless, sadistic mind sees fit. With the aid of his faithful draconic companion, Paxios, he is relentless in his cruel persecution of those who violate the laws of nature. No matter how unwittingly.
This is the tale of their encounter. Silas will gain the dark knowledge he has ached for for so long... and Cereos will gain his own, delectable reward.
And although it will be uploaded later, you can, if you so wish, watch the story unfold in horrific detail. We're using the Portal's own Private Roleplay Section, right here at http://aryion.com/forum/viewtopic.p.....23&t=32623
So if you don't want to wait, it's all happening here. Enjoy!

I'm going to have to be leaving YIM for a while.
Posted 13 years agoBecause it's simply too much fun. Since I started interacting with all you wonderful people, my writing speed has gone down by about 500%. I'm not exaggerating. And while it is, as I said, enormous fun... I have so much I want to write.
Not to mention, a horrible amount of schoolwork is coming up and I've got to stay on top of it - and again, the constant distraction is too much. So for the next few weeks, I'm not going to be logging on at all.
Please don't think this means you can't talk to me - I'm not about to become a recluse, thank you! You can still note me whenever and wherever you like, for whatever reason you like... but the constant response thing of Yahoo Instant is slowing me down too much. I need to learn to be more moderate with it.
I must stress: this is nothing to do with any of the wonderful people who I've chatted with. It's simply that first and foremoston this site, I am a writer, and I've been neglecting that far too much.
Thank you. Again, feel free to note me if there's anything.

Question: Your thoughts on me submitting my work in parts?
Posted 13 years agoWell, I found a memo addressed to myself the other day, scribbled out on the fateful night when I first started my stories and posted Chapter 1 of The Taste of Terror. It was somewhat amusing.
"However, I think in the future you should consider getting to the vorish part sooner, and make your stories a bit less long and drawn out.
Just for reference... Chapter 1 was, at the time, 2,339 words.
My most recent story, Chapter 5 of the same horrific little series, is just below 13,000.
God, I thought. Was I really that ignorant of my own nature?
And this, in an extremely convoluted manner, brings me to my point: my stories are now generally really quite long, at least 8,000 words. This means that they take quite a while to write - as you may have noticed with my latest, which is coming slowly enough as it is. I feel sad having to wait so long between submissions, and so I am considering... what would you, my kind, ludicrously overgenerous readers, think of the idea of me submitting each of my stories in parts? They're will probably be two parts for most, each about 4000-5000 words, with the first probably containing the introduction and build up, and the second being more about the torture, the ever-present vore, and the... all too inevitable... death.
Obviously, this will mean a quite large break between parts... and knowing me, I'll probably finish on a cliffhanger, and leave poor you waiting until I can finally finish the next part. That's what I don't want to do, since I can be very slow at working sometimes.
Heck, I don't know... what are your thoughts on this?
P.S: And also since I'm damn well going to say this to someone today... I bloody love Owl City. <3

Poll, as suggested by LN: Team Alex or Team Damian?
Posted 13 years ago...yeah. The Taste of Terror actually has huge numbers of opportunities for silliness, and this is but one of them. Blame lolno. He suggested it.
So, who are you behind? The terrified, adorable vulpine? Or his cruel, merciless, brilliant tormentor?
Team Alex... or Team Damian?
Unfortunately, FA can't do polls, so just leave your vote in the comments. XP

Right. Commissions, trades and requests.
Posted 13 years agoHello. In short... I'll do them.
I'm assuming that it's my writing rather than my drawing skills. Mainly because they barely exist at the moment. Maybe far into the future... <_<
I'll do trades in return for artwork. I may well have a go at any requests you put forwards. And I will certainly do commissions.
Pricing:
I like the simple method of 0.75 c per word. So that's $7.50 per 1000 words, $30 for 4000, $45 for 6000, and so on. Payment to be made... whenever you can do it. I'm patient.
Will do:
Soft vore
Hard vore (including cooking and gore: I don't find it very vorarephilically interesting, but I enjoy it from a sadistic point of view)
Furries, ferals and humans as prey
Furries or ferals as predator
Willing
Unwilling
Sadism
Torture
Pre-vore snuggling (I'll probably put that in anyway... XD )
Fatal
Non fatal
Conflicted preds and prey
Non-vore scenes - romances, sci-fi, fantasy, adventure... any genre you fancy.
M/F, F/F, M/M, F/M
Character background stories
Pretty much anything else.
Won't do:
Anything overly sexual(I'm fine with romantic scenes, etc, but I'm not really into that.... yet)
Any human - shaped preds (including demons, giants, demi-humans... anthros are fine, however)
UB, CV or AV
Dominant or larger prey
Fanfics
However, every rule has it's exceptions. I'm open to new ideas.
Anyone who wants to use my own characters in some art or RP with them... I'll be delighted. That's very generous of you. Finn, Redstone and Sehria can go after anyone they find interesting, but I'm afraid Damian and Alex are off limits for anyone except each other. They're such an adorable couple.
I'm happy to try RPing - although it'll follow the same rules as above. I particularly enjoy playing predator in such encounters, so be warned. I bite.
Anyone who has any questions, or any suggestions... just ask me.

Damian vs the Beast. The world will tremble.
Posted 13 years agoJust a note to everyone: I'm going to be doing a non-canon Roleplay with LN based on this lovely tale. To cut a long story short...
The Beast, from
lolno's Population Control Act. (Read it now.) An ancient war god who channels his essence into the body of noble priest Father Dallmier, colossally strong and utterly merciless. A red-eyed deity of slaughter, a herald of the apocalypse itself.
Damian, from my very own The Taste Of Terror. A telepathic sadist who has been ripped through universes to get here, gifting him strength and speed beyond imagining. A massive, insanely intelligent mythical beast, a creature of pure evil and terror incarnate.
Whoever wins. We lose.
So any ideas anyone has for this clash of the titans... tell us. There will be blood.

Posted 13 years agoSo: anything that you have wondered about my stories, my world, or my characters... ask away. I can answer in role as anyone I've featured, or simply as the author. You don't have to be watching me to ask, of course (although it's always appreciated :3 )
I'm afraid I may not be able to answer some questions: if they are at risk of revealing things that should not yet be revealed... but mostly, fire away. We're all listening.
