I'm very bothered by something that has frustrated me all week. So let me let you in on the ordeal of upgrading my computer.

Until this week I've been running Windows 7, with a massive harddrive an Asus motherboard and 16gb ram. It has served me well for years, with tiny tweaks along the way.

In the last year I've finally been running into modern software I couldn't quite handle. So after these programs finally piled up, I decided to update my OS to Windows 11.

So as I go to install I'm informed that my mother board lacks some stupid modern features, and I decide to hold off til after Anthrocon to upgrade.

So this weekend I purchase a new motherboard, an i7 processor, 32GB ram and a new cooling fan just in case. Then, I realize this motherboard doesn't have a port for the old proprietary purple keyboard input. Microcenter no long carries the adaptors and believes they are no longer in production, so I grab a $12 usb keyboard. I'll find a way to get my old 1989 mechanical back in order later.

After a nap bacck home I do one final back up of my computer and take her down. I diligently disconnect everything, and empty my chassis, and start assembling the new board and components. I decide to use the new fan because I don't have any thermal paste for to reuse the old one. Okay, but the little fan clips to clip the fan to the heat sink are flimsy garbage, similar to bent out of shape paper clips. Urg. And I cut my knuckles up pretty good banging around that case.

Okay I get everything set up and ready to go..... Damn, no VGA serial port for my monitor, okay, I have a spare HDMI cord. Wait a sec..... until yesterday I had never heard of DP display port...... Not happy. I pester my room mate to pick one up for me on his way home.

Okay finally ready to go. Power on. I said, power on. Why aren't you powering on? Ohhhh, I inverted my little jumpers, no problem.

Ahhhh it booted up to a beautiful and overly detailed bios display. Now to install windows. Ok, delete partitions and fresh install on my SSD.

One eternity later....It is done. And as I'm setting up....gee this thing is sluggish.... why. And where is my secondary/slave drive? Ummmm..... why did it's partition get deleted too? WHY?

So I'm running software to rediscover the previous existing partition in hopes of saving that data. I backed up and saved a number of the things there, but that drive was mainly the giant dumping ground of all my photoshop software and pieces as well as a folder of all the randomly dumped photo off various cameras since 2009. I'm a bit distraught that it could be lost.

I used to be good at building these damn machines, but that was long ago....So is frustrated ape,

I felt this year's Anthrocon was a bit rocky. As I spoke with my best friend upon my return, he said it was more pebble, pebbly.

My Drakal  SpykeTyranno came down Wednesday night. We had our dinner and hit up a few local stores for the last things we may have forgotten. He spoiled me with some belated birthday gifts from March. We ended the night with a related Golden Girls Episode.

Thursday I was up early, ate breakfast and read some funny Harley Quinn comics. Spyke got up and  Makaio joined us. We set out to Pittsburgh and really enjoyed the trip. The Fort Pitt Tunnel is always a highlight. Even with additional traffic, our time was only delayed about 9 minutes.
However, parking was a bear, and we scrapped our rental car. Very distressing. Registration was a breeze under eight minutes. Saw the awesome  Tiptoe We walked around and lamented the closure of both The Standard and August Henry's. A good first day.

Friday the 4th rocked me. I was up and at 'em, told my companions goodbye and set out. Bumped into Alkalai at breakfast and continued on. I know it's not related to Anthrocon at all, but my favorite stop: Eides Entertainment, was closed Friday and Saturday for the holiday. I returned to the convention center pretty dejected, and found a seat with other furs. But I couldn't help but feel I was intruding. In the past I would pull out my sketchbook and practice and pic their brains and just hang out. This is the first year that seemed problematic.

I waited my turn to enter the dealers den and made a beeline for  Gideon He has cheered me up at past cons, and is a awesome dude. I was a little disappointed that his upcoming Fang Gang was delayed again.

I met up briefly with  Dracovar and made him cry with a piece of fanart that I did for him. We vowed to hangout some more. And we had some late night furnando's.

I spent the day with my buddies and trying to meet people. I only had a minute in the hall with meeting  Quintree and the awesome Anthrocat puppet. However a stop at con-ops devestated me. I was informed that Anthrocon would no longer be providing acrylic fursuiter badges. Now as an older fur finding it harder to get into suit each year these were a great incentive. I would always admire my new badge each year on the ride home, that badge was a huge piece of ANthrocon to me and this really hurt.

That night when I was having a drink I ended up sitting next to one of the assistant directors and chatting for a while.

Saturday was more low key with signing up for the charity raffle and visiting friends. I got a great seat for the parade and took a lot of photos. It's been nearly a decade since I just watched as opposed to taking part in it. I called out and threw my support behind  twicat  fiona  braeburn  wilgeon and others. During the midst of it I did see a very unusual suit which would come back to cringe later in the evening.

I rushed to the end of the parade meeting room to check on a number of friends I wanted to make sure were beating the heat.  grimdark  redstripecougar I also learned the difference between barbles and nose noodles here.

I did a photoshoot for my ghostbuster buddy  spyketyranno and we spent the evening relaxing at the block party. I made it to a movie with  dracovar before some vexing instructions by constaff about the fat fur meet up.

Sunday was a gorgeous sunny day. I finally made it to Eides where the guy seemed to think I wasn't serious about my comic purchase. My roll of $50s showed him. I continued and lost my 10th Anthrocon raffle in a row. This day was just spent getting good vibes, enjoying the con and the friends I could talk to. I did miss out on several of them. I was also smart and made my dinner reservations at 2pm for 8.

Closing Ceremonies were my first time at the main stage and I can see where so so so much money went, I was impressed. 18K+ attendees. And a lot of negative social media commentary that I think was overly harsh.

While it may not have been the best Anthrocon, it wasn't BAD. No Anthrocon has been bad. BUT the good vibes of this con have lasted a lot longer than cons past, even my two favorite 2018 and 2024.

I think thats everything, but I know I'll have to go back and tweak everyone's icons in this post.

I got my bags packed, my house in order and my friends on the way. I don't think I'm forgetting anything. Leave me a note here if ya wanna say Hi while at AC, I'll try and make room. I already have a lot of plans, but this truly is my favorite time of the year!

Slightly dramatic title, but honestly how I feel right now.

I guess I'm looking for a lil sympathy and a place to vent, sorry guys.

I wanted to make a post to let people know I'm still alive and to why I've been silent on communication.

It has been a rough rough month so far, and upsetting too.

On March 4th on my way home from work a large chevy truck hauling an earth mover decided to squish a chevy malibu between the two of us. I was surprised at how tough my lil ford is.

Then Marth 6th I was gonna meet with a friend of mine who is suffering liver failure. I was going to purchase a large supply of trading cards from him to help fund his treatment options. He missed it due to a bronchial infection.

The weekend was short, warm and pleasant. I even discovered a new artist I loved. I was looking at a short work week before a big birthday celebration with mah mans!
( I'm kidding but I do really love my baked potato  spyketyranno )

Tuesday I met my buddy's wife and purchased those trading cards, and an hour later, I had this rough tickle in my throat. Tuesday night at work was hell.

But if that was bad, Wednesday was worse. I had debilitating chills, where I couldn't get warm and cowered under my electric blanket. I called off work, and was promptly informed by HR that I was risking termination of my job for abuse of sick days, I have used six in my rolling year. The fever was at it's worst making it feel like my eyes would melt when I closed them. And in the fever dreams I kept fixating on the number 20,000 for some reason. And even odder: nipples drawn by  saberkenji because his was some of the last work I saw.

Thursday was a repeat of Wednesday with the added bonus of sweating through my pajamas, bedding, and my entire mattress to the point my sweat was dripping from the mattress springs to the floor underneath the bed! ANd I checked, it wasn't urine.

I lucked out on Friday and my doctor gave me a telehealth appointment to address work that I was really sick. I've spent the day camped on my couch with anime. Friday I was suppossed to get off work, go get my haircut for my man, get groceries and his favs, and cash my paycheck.

Today I should be getting the house ready and awaiting my smoopie, I mean buddy. Instead I'm just sitting around miserable. We were gonna go to the Columbus toy show tomorrow and then the Casino for dinner.

I'm sorry, this post is just a bitch fest, but with how I feel I just wanted to complain. And with my voice feeling like hamburger it had to be in text. I've hardly had the energy to shower.

My room mate even told me he found me eating an uncooked bag of ramen like a candy bar when I was feverish Thursday.

Recently I was sharing pics with an online buddy, and he shared a few AI generated pics. After we discussed the use of AI in art, we did mention that churning out a few to help with ideas before you start drawing in earnest probably isn't the worst thing.

However what he drew was a himbo of a jock bouncing his bubble butt up in the air. Which lead me to a delightfully dirty or fetish-y idea. I'm looking for other, better, writers and artists to maybe give a little feedback, so here we go:

GOONER UNIVERSITY

A literal college where guys apply with the goal of actually being dumbed down, and degraded, attending classes to turn them into gooning himbos. Goals to get those bubble butts, assessments making sure they can't do basic or advanced math. Checking how much cum they can guzzle. Basically churning out sex crazed, cutie, morons to take on as toys or friends with benefits.

I love the concept but just can't get the classes and details right in my mind, but I keep coming back to this and thinking it's hot.

I'd love other people's ideas to build this up. Or am I just being stupid?

I've put this post off for over a month now. I look forward to Anthrocon each year, it is my favorite furry convention of the three or four that I go to annually. There were a few snags ahead of it this year that were warning signs for me. Getting the time off from work was a little tricky, and the wildfire smoke was also rough on me for my first day of travel.

Usually arriving at my hotel feels like coming home, and I've certainly felt that way immensely a few times when walking to the Westin in past years. However something this year simply felt "OFF".

I disliked the smoke, the rain, and the closure of now Burger King and the Exchange.

As for the convention itself, I give great kudos to the con for expanding the number of shuttle bus lines and number of busses on them. I never waited more than 8 minutes for one.

I was greatly disappointed with this year's parade. Mainly not having a group photo. That was always a big highlight for me in previous years. Also by using the second staging area, people who followed the rules and were early, filled seats like they were instructed. Late comers were standing room only and stuffed against the walls, then when the parade began, those late comers were the first to leave. I don't think this slight and loss of the photo were worth the addition of chairs in the line up.

With that 'off feeling' I took a minute to talk to Uncle Kage about the potential of aging out of the fandom. Is my advanced age, putting me out of touch with the convention's target demographic? He helped allay those fears, but not completely dispel them. Your thoughts guys?

I met a lot of great fursuiters and had a lot of fun with them. Some I wanted to approach and interact with more, get to know them. BUT then I was afraid I was gonna come off as a groupie. That was a hard line to toe.

Zarafra, Quintree, Riffnote and Renegade were all wonderful furs that brought me cheer and I wanted to hang with a bit. Great to meet you all! I admit I fan-boy-ed out a little bit with my quick meeting with Odin Wolf, and I would have loved to talk a bit more. Sunday night at the Westin I met and got to know those furries a bit better. A HUGE shout out to the completely awesome Nikolai Lion, I want to get back in contact if anyone can help me. He made a big impression on me.

Feeling a bit apart, but craving interaction I found myself asking often of several fur suiters if they were okay or needed help. Could my role be assisting, offering help, or does this come off as desperate. I found myself holding props for furs that needed to adjust themselves, helping them tug or realign their suits, searched for fallen and dropped stuff, as well as offering to pour and dispense water. Like I said I wanted to be useful, but worried I was coming off desperate/groupie. Thoughts here would be appreciated.

So not my best Anthrocon, but I don't think I've had a bad Anthrocon. I think I got my feelings out, but would love others' input. Thanks. AND if I mentioned you by name in this, please say hi!

I have a suite of questions regarding whether or not it's ethical to solicit a programmer to do something.

I have an old Character Sheet Generator for the old 80s DC Heroes RPG system from Mayfair games. The program was a fan made project from around 1999 or 2002. Unfortunately it is showing it's age and won't work with 64 bit systems. I'm just tired of having to use my virtual machine to boot this up.

So there go the questions:

- Is it ethical to ask a programmer to take someone else's work, and tweak it? If it isn't explicitly open source when it's downloaded?

- How hard would it be to simply make it compatible from 32 bit systems to 64?

- Is it possible when all I have is the application file to download the program? Is this enough?

- Is this unethical or illegal? Is it unethical to ask for programmers to do this?

- How much would something like this cost? I don't want to insult someone with too small an offer, or get taken for a ride.

Since new year's I've been in an absolutely filthy mood, even for me. I've engaged in some great story sharing, swapping and writing. But a new idea popped into my head for interaction with everyone, and possibly being disgusting....

Imagine that Gorilla Jack is sitting there in the kitchen with you, making some tea for your visit. You see his tablet sitting on the table and bump and app that opens. There are tons of check boxes and sliders on this app. Hundreds, maybe thousands!

This device can alter the reality of Jack. Want him to suddenly like football or hate tea? Check and uncheck the relevant boxes. Want him fatter? Taller? Shorter? More musk? Less gas? Stronger or weaker?

ANYTHING GOES!
Tell me what you would change to make Jack your perfect ape, perfect boyfriend, or perfect prey! Roleplay, comments, even creepy or perverted comments wanted!

One friend made me super shaggy, my hair blocking my eyes. Another shorter than his rodent character so he could spoon with me.

Jack will notice these changes, but not understand whats causing them.

Dichotomy

This is a question I've been mulling over lately, and would like others' input on. I like being known as the nice, friendly, smart ape. It's a reputation I have both in fursona and as a person. I'm happy that I've earned it, with just a few rough spots on my record. With my partners I try hard to be respectful, friendly and kind. However, some times (and I'm about to sound like one of Stephen Colbert's 'meanwhile' segments) I like to get nasty/grungy/filthy/insanely vile, it's a kink.
How do you reconcile these two parts of you? Just because I like it dirty sometimes doesn't mean I'm some dangerous person unfit to talk with nice guys. I don't think it's nessecarily right, or required to make a second filthy account. Besides the damage is already done so to speak. Can't I be both? But it seems it's possible that each half of me can impact the other. Like if I'm about to give a presentation of animation, and I hear whispers like 'oh it's that shit ape' or something. But even
weirder is the inverse 'Hah he things he can hang here, he's just cuddles and hearts'. SO has anyone else had these thoughts and issues? The catalyst was when a couple of my friends found an adult thisvid profile of mine, I didn't mind that. I was surprised that they also had accounts actually, but it gave me a slight feeling of being 'unsafe'. Does any of this make sense? Does anyone have any thoughts?

After two years without an Anthrocon, I almost can't describe the feeling of being back. Walking to the Westin there was joy, but unlike past years, also a sense of trepidation on approach. I don't know what was holding me back there.

I could give a day by day blow by blow account of my con, but suffice it to say, I had a very good time. I noticed a number of differences that also colored my time there this year. For the con itself the attendee pin swap with the tiny themed pins was a big positive that I liked. The rearranged registration and the convention center food on the concourse were good. I'm neutral in my thinking on the Ultra-sponser tier and wanna think that over some more. The only negative I had was the rush of the peace officers to push us outta the convention center after closing ceremonies.

I'm usually light on panel content but the Ohio fur meet n greet was a surprising treat. I met someone from work there! I was also surprised by the number of Ohio Furs. The puppy mosh was so enlightening and fun too.

As for Pittsburgh's changes. The closure of the nearby subway hurt, because I would always frequent that for vegetarian meals. My party had a lot of difficulties with parking, and swapping cars due to baseball games and problems with parking garages. I saw that Tenpenny changed to a new restaurant, and sadly the exchange was closed all weekend due to staffing. I'm more neutral on the change of hands for pizza parma / furryland cafe. Of course I've been mourning the Toonseum's closing for years. I love how Penn Ave went one way to make room for sidewalk dining and grassy spots.

As a comic fan, the highlight of any trip is to the awesome comic and music store Eides. This year I made two trips and nearly $200 in purchases. A number of my comics fit the theme of '80s furry' such as Boris the Bear, and a number of indy titles.

While walking around and in the parade I tried to go lighter without my satchel. But for the dances I forgot my old military glow sticks. During the parade I forgot my filmation ghostbusters backpack too. Darn. I snapped a picture of myself afterwards, and my family told me I never looked so happy.
As with any con, the furries make it so much more! I had been looking for Brae/Braeburned, wondering if he had a table or artist alley spot, and was soooooo happy to see him in suit! I wanted him to have a great and relaxing time.

There are a lot of furries I'd love to give a shout-out. Sunday there was a wonderful Red Otter with a worm through his nose, I never caught his name, but he was fun and sweet! Also there was the fun Bruce the dog, whose badge I didn't catch that really helped fend off the waning feeling of the con on Sunday. Teshy who I can't find an FA page for and his white n black doggo friend were super cool. October Aardbeast was a sweetie who really brightened my Saturday. I ran into Celeblu several times and enjoyed his fashion sense. There was the super sweet Fizz that I was grateful for meeting, as well as the nice Acri at the Westin bar. Met Jeff the Wolf...... so many great furs! I'd love if anyone reading this could give links to their FA pages.

I had such a great time, I am not ashamed to admit I got misty-eyed on Monday morning when leaving the con, Pittsburgh, and all the furries. Y'all enrich my life. I guess Post Con Depression hit me, I even looked into Fur-Science's research on the subject. Fascinating stuff.

It got pushed away from the con, but this weekend marked a big first for me. I'm an older gray muzzle, and came from a different time. So it was a big deal to get to slow dance with a man I really really care about. My first slow dance with someone I truly care about was a mile stone. The song was the Bangle's eternal flame if anyone cares.

Every year I sorta get a song stuck in my head during the con, this year it was Kylie Minogue's 'I should be so lucky'. I also finally settled, my 80's anthem that represents me is...... "Obsession" by Animotion.

The last thing to hit me is my fursuit. I own a partial, Head, hands and feet. I fill in the rest with my 80s outfit. I love Jack, I am Jack, and I love the 80s portion, but there is a problem. If you're in partial, a lot of times you seem invisible. Second, I really wish I had a tail to wear and play with, as an ape, I have none. Sigh :( Also I felt a little removed from everyone in suit. A reason I loved my interaction with Bruce, he played and included me even though I wasn't in suit. So I've been considering a second character, so I can have a full suit. I wanna have something full, and relatively light, so I can 'frolic' with everyone else.....I'm not sure I'm conveying this aspect correctly..... But my ape head feels ten times heavier than some of the foam wolf, otter, and rat heads I've tried on.

I would love some recommendations on fur suit outfitters.

So, first off, I know that Fur Affinity is not the best website to post questions of money, but just looking for some unbiased thoughts.

I'm very unhappy with my current job, and stress has been building to a huge point. Whats worse, looking for jobs with my skill set, is leaving me disheartened. Most companies want you to apply through a talent agency anymore and not directly with the company.

And those jobs I'm a little more passionate about would see me take a 40% pay cut, reduce me to 20hrs a week or both.

So just wondering about other people's experiences, what they found helped them in their job source, or a surprising stream of income.... Just feeling upset most of the time and would like some opinions.

Well, with the past crummy year destroying my social life, and throwing my work life into hyperdrive I have a very unique situation. Plenty of cash, but I can't go out and use it. So during these times I went to filling in all the holes in my Heroclix collection.

I am a huge comic geek, and love my characters an comics, and this game has appealed to me since the begining.

If anyone is reading this please note me or comment here for trades, what you're looking for.

As for what I'm looking for..... I hate paying more than $20-30 for any single figure, so I'm looking to turn my stuff into trade.

Sigh....

I guess I'm feeling a lil sorry for myself or maybe some self pity, but just wanna share, or get another perspective or sympathy.

I've joined the ranks of those who are house hunting. I'm happy with my job and position, and was approved for what I found to be a very generous home loan to purchase my first home. AAAAAAAAAAND I can't purchase jack shit in semi decent part of town, just daunting.

Then to add to my feelings of misgivings. I was discussing this with a group of friends, and it went further. I was commenting on upcoming litigation for one of them and that with a paper trail of payments a lot of problems could be solved. Then it got into a fight from there. I pay my rent and several bills with checks. When I eat out I usually pay cash. One responded "I've never written a check in my life." or "Who carries cash?" another "I haven't written one in six years." Then when we were eating I got royally pissed off that the venue didn't accept cash. It wasn't posted anywhere, and the waitress seem unsure what the hell to do with the twenty I handed her. SO another argument. It's illegal not to take cash, 'good for all debts public and private'. Cashless society over my dead body.

SO my drive home was very sad and a vicious self immolating circle. Contrary to everyone else, I despise texting as a form of communication, email shouldn't be a primary form of communication, and I'd be happy if digital photography and direct deposit were ripped from the planet and burned in hell for all eternity. I try to think of myself as a torch bearer for some of the older ways that still work, but that doesn't seem the case. I'm just a bitter old ape.

On top of that I talked with buddies about how I lament that there haven't been any animated movies of late, and that old argument came up. I don't mean CGI, Claymation or any hybridization, I mean 2d hand drawn, on cel (which I can forget) or digitally drawn but hand drawn. As well as the death of the American Industry (That the 90%+ work is done in this country. They say in the US you can grow up to be anything, you can no longer grow up to be an animator.... sigh) in the nineties. (For anyone who cares about my unpopular opinion there are only 5 CG movies I like, and 1 is due to writing and 2 solely due to fan service; Zootopia, Wreck It Ralph, Despicable Me 3, Final Fantasy Spirits Within, Final Fantasy Advent Children)

To add to the troubles of the upcoming year is the fight getting any vacation time this year will be.

I'm outta time, anachronistic, bitter, and not happy with current events/state of the world/how it currently works. Speaking of which I am now almost totally lost when using this site, I don't care for how it's been optimized and I'm having so much trouble navigating FA now, it's depressing.

Sorry to vent and share obviously unpopular opinions, just go 'that silly ape' and move on, just in a crummy mood. Thanks for listening to my old ramblings.

Okay, so yesterday I was in a raunchy mood and came upon a topic, characters you find sexy.

The thought came from Bowser fan art. I find art of big buff Bowser hot. I also like obese slobby Bowser hot! But I couldn't determine which I preferred.

So then my mind wandered to some fan art I liked of gassy obese versions of the Biker Mice. I think I prefer them buff and dominate, maybe some water sports.
I went through so many comic, cartoon and video game characters and thought what changes would make them HOTTER. I have some tastes on some that I'm still unsure which is hotter.

When I got to Gargoyles I kept thinking, Hudson and Brooklyn were perfect just how they are, but Broadway would be into leather harnesses and a bit gassy, then I picture Lexington being a subby watersports type and Goliath as a super dom. But I tried changing them up to find a hotter conversation.

So my question to everyone is: What CHANGES would you make to characters to make them HOTTER to you?

One friend talked about a sweaty musky chewbacca. Another wanted to make Dragaux obese against his will.

I find this intriguing and want to know the who's and whats that everyone would choose.

I have no idea how to phrase this but in a messy way so here goes. I've enjoyed restoring action figures, collecting complete sets, and wheeling and dealing for figures and other 80s toys and memorabilia.

I'm getting down to fewer and fewer items I'm looking for and the prices are either exorbitant or I just can't find the pieces of looking for.

This journal is especially important if you have bins of mis-matched toy accessories or loose toys.

What I'm asking; Lets make a trade, a sale or compare collections of different 80s toys, comics and books. Maybe some one more computer savy than me can make a group or organize a bit better so we can all post what we're looking for.

I am exhausted while I sit here all freshly scrubbed and in my freshly laundered pajamas.

Work was hell last night and tried to kill me. Then I didn't want things hanging over my head as I went on my trip, so I got some groceries and took my roommate to Kroger, did my banking, got gas in the car and did my laundry. I finished with my packing. I am ready.

Tomorrow my good friend is picking me up and we are making the trek to Anthrocon together. I am looking forward to it, even though fate has thrown a lot of monkey wrenches into my plan.

Despite my fursuit head not being ready, and despite my disappointment that the observation deck won't be available (especially during firework viewing) I still anticipate a good time.

I just wish I was already there to share what time my friends and I will have there. I am looking forward to a snuggle fest with one fur, my annual shopping spree and subsequently getting lost in Eide's Entertainment, and at least one nice dinner along with the shopping and convention events.

As my friends always tease me, I'm an analog man in a digital world. I'm slow and clunky on social media and not good at brokering trades in busy forums. I'm more of a 'sigh I'll pay that on ebay' type of guy.

I'm a huge fan of the Heroclix collectible game. I've been onboard since it's debut in 2002. Right now I'm still filling in gaps in my collection, and also looking for low to moderate value figures to kit bash enough customs for people.

I love the game but am only moderately successful and am more into it lately for collecting all my favorite characters. (I have a massive comic collection I treasure)

I'm willing to buy, trade, gift or customize in return for figures I need or like. I'd like to network with people to chat about this game as well as working around exhorbitant secondary market prices.

Just asking for a little input on a question. A few weeks ago I attended a local toy fair and enjoyed finding some old treasures. A friend from overseas has been sharing with me his videos on restoring old toys, specifically all sorts of the He-man and the Masters of the Universe toys from the 80s.

My question would be if anyone here would be interested in me sharing my repair efforts? Either here or by request.

Would anyone be willing to rummage around and send me any of their broken or old He-man toys they don't want? So I could practice. Does asking for donated pieces parts violate FA guidelines I'm unaware of?

(This all kinda started after a power outage a month ago where I picked up one of my big he-man tomes and read it to completion waiting for the power to come back on. Then I attended that toyfair and picked up an old favorite figure of mine. THEN my buddy linked me to his repair videos. So it's something I wanna dabble in....)

Back from Anthrocon 2018, one of the best I've personally had. Glad all my friends have made it home safely, and just wanna hang onto that happy con glow a little longer. Which gets to a couple statements and questions.

1) Good news was that I've lined up a fursuit maker for a new Head, and suit to follow. I look forward to working on this project!

2) Great to see Tycho again, even if just to talk for about five minutes. It left a very positive vibe with me.

3) Met TipToe the rat wrestler which was another highlight of my con!

4) Was anyone else upset by the demise of the Toonseum?

5) There was a very friendly red,gray, and black wolf who stood about five feet tall that I ran into four or five times. He was so adorable and so friendly and nice. I wanted to talk with him and thank him again, but all my pics either cut off or have his badge blurry. Any suggestions to finding this fur? Wolver....ton?

6) Ahem, there was also a gorgeous doberman in a leather cap and unitard that I wanted to have the opportunity to talk to and failed to do so.....

7) Is Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights' really so good that I couldn't stop singing it this entire week? (Look it up, I love it!)

8) Can someone give me an easy link to the panoramic fursuit photo from this year? I can't even find the low res version that was up by the end of the con. I hate navigating some of these websites....

9) I discovered that musicals and musical numbers are almost their own form of currency. Also great for bringing furs together.

A DATE WITH JACK

A truckload of undocumented horse workers is involved in an accident. Jack is pressed into service as a doctor working on the young teens that aren't severely injured.
