Apparently the possibility of an FA hacker
Posted 12 years agoDon't know how much of this is true, but just in case
Rumor has it there is hacker on FA, hacking people and blocking our friends to make them block us.
You'll then be banned from FA.
Write the same warning in your journal to protect not only yourself but everyone!
Here's another warning: If I'm being a jerk, saying stuff like "Shut up", "Get lost" or "I don't want to see you on my homepage anymore", that's not really me.
That's the hacker.
Write all of this down in your journal too!
Please do this, it's for the safety of everyone!
Forward this message before someone gets hacked!
Btw, this was stolen from the other Journals that I have seen.

Successful Landing of Mars Science Laboratory
Posted 13 years agoOkay, so for those who, somehow, don't know, back in November, NASA launched the Mars Science Laboratory called 'Curiosity'. This is the single largest rover every to be deployed on the martian surface, and is the first to utilize a skycrane landing system. That, was ten months ago, and this morning, at 12:30, Curiosity successfully landed in Gale Crater on Mars. I was watching as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory ran their Entry-Deceleration-Landing (EDL) final checks, all the way up to when the first images were transmitted from Curiosity's bow and aft cameras. Now, I'm going to take this moment to celebrate and break my semi-professional presence.
...YES! YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!
...eh-hem...anyway. The landing of Curiosity signals more than just being able to determine if life every existed on Mars (something I personally believe it very well did in the ancient past). With the success of the entire landing system, the door has been opened to possibly land larger object on either Mars or the moon. Through this method, objects like habitation modules or atmospheric generators could be landed, bringing humans one step closer to extraterrestrial colonization.
Long thought to be simply science fiction, being a good plot idea to video games, movies, and books, colonizing other planets is a very plausible happening. Science fiction has always been one of the greatest motivations to creation. Cell phones first began as fictitious communication devices. Landing people on the moon. Human travel into space. All of this was once thought to be impossible. Who's to say humans can't colonize Mars? It'll be hard, there's no doubt about that, but within the next decade, we could have the next Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin taking the first steps onto the red planet.

Happy Bungie Day
Posted 14 years agoHappy Bungie Day everyone! Let me start by saying this is one of my most loved 'holidays'. Now I know it isn't an actual holiday, but to me, it kinda is. You see, I'm a Halo fan. I love the games, but more than that, I love the story that has developed in the Halo universe. Call me a fan-boy, I don't care. It's fun. The reason I'm so psyched about Bungie Day (July 7th or 07-07) is because it is a day to enjoy what Bungie created and is only two days before my own birthday. This time, however, I have another reason to play: Steaktacular. Today, Bungie is running an all day Marathon of Halo: Reach in matchmaking. If your team of four beats them by more than 20 kills (called a Steaktacular), they will send you a grade-A steak to celebrate ten years of carnage. Closest thing to a birthday party I've ever had.
Now, if you all will excuse me, I have a steak to win and people to kill. Farewell, and may your meaty winnings be tasty.
