Confuzzled Website and EF rollercoaster
Posted 11 years agoSo after having not posted anything in the past 2 or 3 years, this will likely be the update for 2014 :p
Confuzzled Website
First of all, thanks to everybody who congratulated at launch or later on.
Doing the intro was a huge opportunity and a ton of fun.
I've not had this much fun with code in quite a while and seeing all our fabulous artists' works come to life was amazing.
As always, a lot more was planned but got chopped due to time constraints.
A huge thanks to all the artists who contributed their art (
fawnspots
silverfox5213
edi
garnetto), setting your art in motion was a huge treat. Also huge thanks to
sorayasha for getting me on board, for keeping in touch with the artists and generally keeping the project together, even under great pressure.
And last but not least, another round of shout-outs to whole CFZ website team for doing last-minute testing and a windows phone on short notice to test (yes, we even tested them :p)
EF 2014
So right before EF I was hospitalised with severe abdominal pains and it wasn't looking good. Flights all booked, surgery scheduled ("Doctor. I WILL fly. I don't care how. I can collapse all I want in Berlin.) but it turned all good 36h before our flight left.
So what does a bunny do in need of some overcompensation? The bunny decides to make a new fursuit head :D
7h before our flight left it was mostly done, and got finished at EF for big success.
A huge huge huge *HUGSQUEEZEANDTHANKYOU* to kayfox (who's account name here I don't know, sorry x.x) for helping me finish it on-site.
That's all folks, see you next year :)

Got avatar?
Posted 14 years agoSeeing as my current avatar dates back to 2008, I think its time for a new one.
Anyone willing or know someone who's willing to do one? :)

Late EF 16 report and fursuits got'chas!
Posted 15 years agoWhere do I start?
EF 16 was a huge blast. I've only been to the Ringberg hotel once and I was sceptical, but the new hotel quickly grew on me. The lobby is nice and spacious, although I miss the campfire and the woods.
So me and my travelmate walk in on the early arrival day, and the first two things we see is a reptile suit and britfurs trying that formidable german beer. Yes, we got the right hotel xD
Spent most of that night re-sewing most of the seams on my suit which I'd "finished" about 2h before my flight was due to leave.
Big thanks to
suran for letting me use his industrial-grade sewing machine!
Next day my roomie
AllenJohnson AJ finally arrived, and after a drink or two, Greex the cream-rabbit finally got his first public full-body exposure.
It all worked reasonably well, although there were a couple of lessons to be learned: AIR! Take _breathing_ into account when I overhaul that head xD
(huge thanks there to the pawpet crew who let me use their equipment while trying to fix the situation in time for the BBF Dance!!)
Secondly, long fur is all cuddly and nice, but from a heat exchange point of view it's a nightmare. Not even the cold wind outside the hotel would make it through at times >.< Which is a bummer, I'd have loved to suit more than an hour or two at a time.
Next day around we had a kind of unplanned room party with AJ,
jbadger,
serpentus and
kiroja before suiting up.
Moving on, BBF Dance was a huge experience! At about 5am I headed out with a bunch of dutch furs to grab a bite at the mcdonalds near the hotel.
When we returned at 7am the party was still going strong. Wow!
I have no idea why I didn't participate last year. I vaguely remember something involving russian vodka though.
Next day's dead dog party was, in my opinion, the highlight. Everybody was easy, partying and relaxing - and I successfully combated early PCD with SpoogeSpecials and MountainScrew ^___^
TLDR: Was a blast! Glad I could meet all the people again I hadn't seen in a long time and meet a couple of new faces!
There you go, hopefully to see you there next year :)
PS: Has anybody seen pictures of my suit? I had noone there to photograph so I hope somebody caught me with some other suiters.

Also, I guess this was my first public suit walk.
Tons of thanks to Nubi for getting me there, to Yukon and Nubi for suiting with me, to Lions for driving the quad, to Wulf for being our gatorade provider (can't thank her enouch for that! :3), to Tiffanbrill the sweet and tired dragon and Foxtail for carrying the sign and to everybody else I forgot!
There you go. I guess this was my first proper journal xD Enjoy the pics!

Who's going to AC?
Posted 15 years agoWho's going to AC this year? I'd like to meet a few new and old faces :)
See you there!
See you there!
So, what's new
Posted 17 years agoOkay,... what's new?
It's been a long time since I posted any progress on my lizard, but a lot has happened in the mean time.
I made a rather successful transition from maya to xsi (enveloping is just so awsome I could break out in tears every time), re-rigged him completely and I'm now working on a new and far improved color map for him.
Also, as a kind of test-run, I made a rat for him to play with.
PS: Anyone else think rats are just way too rapeable? *g*
