I'm having such a hard time with this show oh man. Part of my loves it because animal-apocalypse tv show? YES.

The rat episode was terrible though and oh my god I am absolutely dying over the last two episodes ("Eats, shoots and leaves" & "That great big hill of hope") because they used a real live Serval cub in place of a leopard cub for the plot line and called it a leopard cub. IT PROCEEDS TO GROW UP TO BE A LEOPARD. I JUST.... WHAT??? The average person is already horribly under-educated about wildlife in general don't encourage that shit. ;_;

SO BOTHERED FOREVER.

Also still posting more frequently on Twitter @ Grimmorph though I've been slow with art there as well lately due to a significant burn on my primary hand. :|

I'm actually pretty active here so far as browsing and stuff but I haven't posted a lot lately due to getting about 75% done with stuff then setting it aside in favor of foregoing the inking process heh. I planned ahead a little bit this year so I'm not making the decision to go like... the day before the con! I'll probably post one of those silly meme things later, but I am too busy working on badges and playing WoW to do it like right now right now. Any of you guys going?! :D

Anyone know of anyone with some extra room space? I live like five hours away and I'm thinking of driving up but it's not worth it if I can't stay a night or two. I can pay and all but it's really last second and I've had no luck finding a room.

Pretty much what the journal title says... Moving to California in the fall! Somewhere in Orange County around late July or early August. Will be attending art school there. (I know more than this, just a little hesitant to post more so publicly :P) Posting will probably become pretty sparse, as it has been lately. I've been pretty busy sending out applications, filling out my FAFSA, etc! I do have a few things I plan on posting in the near future though.

I also plan on selling a bunch of my old toys for moving funds. These include a lot of unique stuffed animals, 80's toys (My Little Pony, TMNT, Care Bears, ETC), Todd McFarlane stuff, action figures, ETC. Would anyone be interested in seeing these offered up here before I post them somewhere like Ebay? I'm not looking to trade them, as I really need the cash, but I know a lot of people here collect these things.

Sorry I haven't been posting or commenting much lately. I lurk a lot, but the vast majority of my time recently has been spent completely absorbed in World of Warcraft. Set it down for a bit a while back due to dissapointment with the Hunter changes, but recently picked it back up and fell in love with my new Mage.

I play on Smolderthorn and have three level 85 characters. Would love to hear it if any of you guys are on the same server!

Definately making it out this year, I'll be turning 26 on the 18th so it's sort of like my birthday con. :D
Driving up with  doubleentendre sometime next week and will be there the entire duration of the con. If you're looking for me just look for my hair- it's exactly like my character FightBite's, red and white. I'll also have badges identifying myself as such and will be hanging out a lot with  sinnamon and  silverwing.
If you catch me at the right time I'd probably totally be down for sketch trades!

Let me know if so and I'll be sure to bring it along to give to you, even if it's older stuff that I'd rather burn on principle. :D

Now that I've finished the previous five or so trades I took on I'd love to do some more. They'll be simple sketchy colored shoulders-up busts, like a lot of the recent trade pictures in my gallery. As these are easy and have a short turn-around time with very little stress on me. I'm thinking maybe three or four more?

That aside, does anyone here actually like horrorcore? Or even rap in general, for reals. It seems like one of the more maligned genres around here on FA, but I'd love to talk to other furs about their favorite artists and maybe find some more awesome horrorcore that's not Psychopathic-records related. I personally am big on Brotha Lynch Hung and Tech N9ne. :D

Aaaaaand leading from that I'd also like to add that I love to chat to people on AIM. I'm a lot friendlier than people seem to tend to believe: I'm just SHY. I've been sort of taking a break from work while I sort out some other things in my life and I've been pretty bored during midday, and I would LOVE to make some more friends. I enjoy talking about art, movies, TV shows, stupid furry stuff, music, video games, and animals. :D

"Beasts of Burden" is a lovely, lovely supernatural animal comic written by Evan Dorkin and illustrated by Jill Thompson (of Scary Godmother fame).

This post is entirely selfish though, as I'm really just hoping to garner more attention for this lovely series and contribute towards keeping it going. XD

The trip actually ended up being quite nice by the end of it all, I didn't get to see someone I was really looking forward to seeing due to it just being a difficult situation, but on the last day my Aunt Suzy woke me up with a newspaper with a MASSIVE BIRD SHOW on the front page! She took me and we had a real blast, it's by far the biggest bird show I've been to yet and I got to see a lot of birds you don't commonly see in Aviculture in Texas. (Golden Conures! Slender-billed Conures! Jardines!) Toys were half the price of what they are at pet stores, and I ended up coming home with a Blue-Front Amazon, as you can probably tell if you've been watching my submissions.

Turns MOST MAJOR COMMERCIAL AIRLINES will let you take birds on board in a small compatable carrier, EXCEPT FOR AMERICAN AIRLINES. They were quite rude about it too, and since that was my flight back I ended up having to catch a different one with a more reasonable airline.

I'm all birded out for now but oh goddd I wish I could afford to run my own Aviary!

In other news, my computer is now up and running thanks to  langston and his mad computer skillz. I'd also like to thank him and his lovely  farorenightclaw for helping me get 're-instated' back into AnthroCon after the misunderstanding that went down.

For those of you that didn't know, I left my ex-boyfriend, Colton, and moved out of his house after AnthroCon, and I'm back living with family. I'm actually... Still 75% unpacked so for now there's no scanner/printer, and I'm seriously unorganized for the time being. No art until I can FIND IT.

Oh yeah, and I'd like to get back into WoW. Really, really bad. But I want a group of people to play with who'll actually fucking play with me. (I've had groups form only to dissolve after a week or two, and I'm tired of re-rolling. :|) A furry guild would be massively cool, so long as it's composed of the more. Uhmm... 'Normal' furries, I guess. I'm generally a very laid back/dramafree person so come on, lets play World of Warcraft.

SO I DID GO. Everything was awesome except for the things that sucked a lot. But the source of the problem's gone now and I'm hoping to have an even better AnthroCon next year. (I'm flying this time. :P)

SO I made it home, got my car back, moved back in with my family (The not so fantastic part) and my animals and everything else are okay. I am really, really fucking bored though and I hate my job. Minor things.

My computer's extremely fucked at the moment, it works sporadically at best. I think I have some kind of super-nasty malware or virus or spyware or SOMETHING. So if anyone could. Uhm. Point me in the direction of something preferably free that I could download to help with that, it'd be muchly appreciated.

Since I missed AnthroCon this year, I am now attending FurFright. I'm... Actually going for my birthday, which is October 18, and I am staying with  Chival, who planned this whole thing and is also taking me to see GWAR, before which I will hopefully be meeting Bill Moseley and if you know me then you know this entire message does not show even a fraction of the excitement I am feeling. BUNGLES. HORROR. BIRTHDAY. OTIS. GWAR. FURRIES. Oh godddddd the excitement.

In other news, despite frantic efforts and a lot of footwork, there was never any sign of Indiana and we've called off active search measures. We still have the local vets and shelters looking out for a dog matching his approximate age and description, but it looks like trashy ghetto Garland wins again.

Despite this, I ended up getting a new puppy. His name is Guillermo after my favorite director and an actor I really like. He is... Full of lazy and awesome. Neither of my dogs are allowed in the yard anymore (Ruby easily leaps the eight foot fence, and apparently leaving your puppy in a yard in Garland is asking to get it stolen) so they both go everywhere with me.

I also got a baby Sun Conure, her name is Mañana and I've been hand-feeding her for the past couple of days with a little supervision from a friend who's been raising birds. She is cuddly and noisy and always gets her way. No photos yet, but eventually.

Badge trades are still on, I've just been going through a huge artistic dry spell. Everytime I even pick up a pencil I get frustrated and angry. I'd like to do badges for my friends for FurFright too but who knows, I'm unreliable with art. :|

I'm in a bunch of drawing classes for school now, and as a result, I've been drawing more. I'd like to do some badge trades, but I'd like to ask that I'm allowed to finish mine first as I might be a little slow.
A while back I tried this and I think Likeshine was the only taker, if you're still up for that then you're first on the list. :3
