A new month of 2025 approaches, that means commissions will be reopening soon!
As you all know, drawing animal people has been my main income source since 2023/December. It's very good to work with all of you, in many senses! It's fun, it's an honor, it makes me think about life, Universe, and everything else!
During all this time, I learned a lot about drawing - but I still kept the same prices. In fact, my table in USD has been the same since 2023/February. So, it's time for a little raise! That will be in 2025/June. It will reflect my improvement in drawing since then, and it will also be aligned to the work/else balance in my life.
That means that for 2025/May I'll be still offering commissions with current prices! The opening will probably be during the first third of the month, stay tuned for an exact date! (You can follow me on Bluesky, Tumblr or my Telegram channel if you wish, as we have no idea what will be of Fur Affinity in the near future.)
I am very anxious about this announcement... but I think people who follow me and plan ahead to commission me need to have this info so they can adjust accordingly.

Posted 6 months agoI wish I hadn't social anxiety (? - I guess). I lowered my expectations, I don't even want to have that fun or make friends. I just want to like, hm, go outside to buy vitamins and cut my hair. But sometimes even these tasks are hard. Fascinating.

Do you have suggestions from my personal art, or fanart stuff? (I have some of them in mind, but ideas are welcome!) (Just pearsonal or fanart, not commissions/customers' OCs)

Posted 7 months agoSince yesterday, we don't have internet at home (no Wi-fi/cable, only mobile). I'm able to work in the drawings, but it will be slower (it's harder to access to references and to send you the files). Since 2023/December, taking furry art commissions has been my main job! I'm so grateful for your support on this. Some months were good, some not much, but all of them were hard work. In fact, I haven't taken a decent vacation since 2023/February, I think (I was still on my day job).

groundpearcw: pet loss, schedule for next days
Posted 9 months agoBrave Mackenzie left this world last night. It was weird to wake up today and not to prepare his soft food and to check how is he going, to spend time giving him scritches, to watch him exploring this world. I'll miss the little guy. He was smart, expressive, silly at times, and so dear. It always hurts a lot when a friend leaves 🖤
I want to thank everybody who was patient and kind during these days, not only in my name, but in the name of these little lovely fragile creatures under my care.
I'll take this day off, I'll be back tomorrow. During the next days, my professional priority will be to work on February commissions (the two currently in my queue + the other two I'll start)

☆ Little man Mackenzie (one of our pet rats) is still alternating good and bad days. We are trying one more treatment, working on keeping his weight and QoL. So, I'm pretty busy and also sensitive. I'm very grateful for your wonderful support, and also for understanding about my moments of silence and privacy.
☆ I'll probably complete the current commissions still in January, but may work a bit slowly. Thanks for understanding!
☆ About future commissions: as like, hm, last year was pretty complicated and I'm still very hurt, for now on until I recover I may be more selective about themes I draw, and updated my TOS (item 3.4). Please, don't try to force me to talk about themes that trigger me and respect my space. I don't have the time or emotional energy to give long explanations without burning out, even more in English that's not my first language. Sometimes, I'm not the best artist for some subjects, and that's all right. I hope you all can understand these boundaries.

☆ Since last month, one of my pet rats, Mackenzie, has been presenting some very weird and difficult to treat respiratory issues (I talked more about it on my Telegram channel). A lot of vet trips, trying to manage symptoms and find the causes, yet with very limited success. I'll try to stick to my regular schedule, but it may change due these vet visits, my emotional state and energy level. Thanks for understanding.
