Posted 19 years ago1. What is your character's name?
Grynn Wulfe
2. What kind of character is it (furry, anime, etc) and any particular race?
Anthropomorphic Wolf. Half Grey and half Arctic wolf.
3. What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up?
"Grr, sunlight..."
4. Your character's favorite outfit would be?
Low rise pants (easier than finding pants that fit around the tail), normally a dark blue denim, as well as an olive green military jacket. Usually no shirt, but if he does wear a shirt, it's normall a tshirt with some type of screen print under the military jacket, or a button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to near the elbows.
5. When your character looks into a mirror, what's the first thing they would notice?
Probably how matted down his chest fur and head fur is.
6. Does your character have the same tastes in food as you?
He likes his meat much rarer than I do, and pretty much only eats meat, rarely ever anything else, especially not greens.
7. How is your character similar to you?
He is very similar to me. He is after all my animal identity.
8. How is he different?
Well, for one, he's covered in fur, has a muzzle and tail, as well as dog ears. Other than that, he's a bit more agressive than I am.
9. If your character could speak, would they have the same voice as you?
Heck no. His voice would be much deeper than mine, almost as a growl.
10. If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as them?
Honestly...probably bite something.
11. Is there something about your character that you don't like how others think of them?
Not really. He's just like me in just about every way, and I'm pretty happy with the way I am.
12. What advantages does your character have over you?
He has a much better name than me, and he looks much cooler. I wish I could have red hair, or as many peircings as my character.
13. What disadvantages?
Uhm... I guess he looks a little bit more menacing than I do?
14. Do you have any secrets relating to your character that only you know?
No, not really.
15. Do you have any secret drawings only you know about?
Yes, but it has now gone away for good. I was not happy about the art, and its now burried deeeep in a trash dump somewhere.
16. Do you have any plans for your character or are you working on something big relating to him?
Not really. Probably come up with a background story for him.
17. What misconception(s), if any, do people have about your character?
Not really a misconception, but people always forget about the left handpaw being white, or switch it to the right handpaw.
18. If you could have just ONE characteristic from your character, what would it be?
I wish I could have his build. He's a bit more defined when it comes to muscles.
19. Have you made any characters that go along with yours, based on real-life people, that have the same traits?
Yes. Again, he is the animal identity to my physical being.
20. Have you written any stories about your character?
No, but I may one day.
21. How has your character changed since his first creation?
Wow. His first creation was with solid black fur and blond headfur. Since then, he's gotten white fur, along with red headfur, chinfur, and tail tip. His eyes also changed from deep yellow to a varying shade of blue.
22. Give us a one-liner from him.
"Damnit...Where's my fucking steak...?"
23. What's something people would be surprised to learn about your character?
I don't think there's much there to surprise people.
24. If you met your character in real life, what would you do with him?
Snuggle with him for sure. Imagine a 6'1" creature with soft fur snuggled up next to you.

Posted 19 years agoIf you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.
Huge Favor
Posted 19 years agoHey all, I need a HUGE favor from you.
If you can have a few minutes to spare, please go through my gallery and let me know what pictures you like the best. I'm trying to figure out a "top 5" or so of what people like by noon so that I can hopefully get them printed off and entered in an art show.

Photo Music Videos
Posted 19 years agoOkay, so this was my final project for my Digital Photography course I took my senior year in high school.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=kruOHlBq6UM
I have no idea how to submit this as a project, so I figured through journals would be the best way.
~
I'm planning on doing another one for A Modern Myth by 30 Seconds to Mars.
-
Did we create a modern myth
Did we imagine half of it
Would happen in a thought from now
Save yourself
Save yourself
The secret is out
The secret is out
To buy the truth
And sell a lie
The last mistake before you die
So don't forget to breathe tonight
Tonight's the last so say good-bye
The secret is out [x4]
Good-bye [x17]
-
The lyrics like this make it sound extremely short, but it is a 3-4 minute song I think.
I'm sort of planning to do something with a gay couple....thats all I really want to say about that though. I want most of it to be a surprise, so I'm going to start searching for some people who wouldn't mind modeling for me and start shooting some photographs in the next few weeks.
Any thoughts? Please share them!

Birthday
Posted 19 years agoSo, today's my 18th birthday...and no special plans. :P
I'm planning on going out to get an industrial ear piercing (the bar that goes through the cartiledge at the top of the ear) in my left ear, sometime between today and Monday.
But before I can do that, I have to talk to the piercing studio to get some more information about spacers so that I can take the bar out at work, and possibly have to okay everything with my manager depending on how the spacers look.
So, those are my big plans for the weekend.
Edit: 7:40PM Eastern
So it turns out I have to go home next weekend for a friend's wedding. Throws my plans off by a week to get the ear pierced, but I guess that works a little bit better so that I'm not rushing things. *Shrugs*

Art Block
Posted 19 years agoSo yeah...I really want to draw something, but I can't get anything to come out. I can get maybe half a muzzle....and then things go downhill faster than a slinky can fall down half a flight of stairs.
It really sucks being introverted and having to be surrounded by atleast 5 people at all times of the day.
But now I'm not really sure it's just my introversion....a friend just told me it sounds like I have a mild case of depression that I just can't shake off like I used to.
Anyway....once I figure out what's going on with me, you can expect to see a few more drawings!

Manhunt: Update
Posted 19 years agoThey caught the guy between 4:00PM and 4:30PM, right after I decided to take a nap. The guy is now behind bars, and I'm sure security will remain tight around him and possibly around campus for another day or so.

Manhunt
Posted 19 years agoSo classes were cancelled and the campus as been locked down.
There's an armed gunman loose on or around campus, who shot two people in the last two days. One of the big student centers was evacuated this morning, and now we have a lot of police officers with shot guns and assault rifles patroling the campus.
We've even made the CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and ABC news rotations. We currently are a little bit tricky to find since no new information has been released lately....

Advice
Posted 19 years agoOkay....so what do ya'll think?
Is it good to keep my art separate from my photography and have each on separate accounts? Or is it not worth it since I mostly put out photographs?

Return from Otakon
Posted 19 years agoI'm back from Otakon. It was great!
Sadly, I didn't get too many good pictures. I wish I could have taken my D70 to get some nice photos of the crowds and cosplayers...but parents wouldn't let me take the good stuff. I did get some nice shots of buildings around Baltimore though...but it's difficult to get nice artistic photos of people with a point and shoot camera...well, for me it is atleast.
Really wish I had the resources to try and sell some prints of my work...I need the money after Otakon. I spent somewhere between $500 and $600...that's the price of a lens or a very high quality flash or something I could have used for photography. >.< So that means my MAC Mini and 80-200mm f/2.8 lens are another month or two away...
I'll upload some of the architecture shots later this week when I have some time to sit down and size them and correct a few things.
Also expect to see the creation of my art account "Fesh Levitsky" later this week as well.
Hope everyone is doing well!
And Milligram_Smile, I'll be messaging you later about that commish. Just need to get the details from the other wuff and dig up his picture.

Otakon
Posted 19 years agoHey all,
I'm heading to Otakon tomorrow morning, so I won't be updating this weekend and I won't be commenting on anyone's pics until I get back Sunday night or Monday morning.
If anyone is going to Otakon and would be interested in 'stalking' me, just look for a guy wearing a black vest with a giant red paw print on the back. It'll clearly say above that:
[ GRYNN WULFE ]
