Furaffinity finally implemented a handle that you can add to your profile. I can finally change it from my old username into Xevv :)
It's only available for FA+ users at the moment.

This is probably the closest that we'll get to a username change feature. I dont think the site was originally built with that functionality in mind :P

Sad to hear about the passing of Furaffinity's owner, Dragoneer. He passed at 44. Respects go out to him. I made this account back in 2015. I've always been mostly a lurker and I have always loved browsing this site for furry art. It would be a huge shame if this site ever shut down. Back when IMVU owned Furaffinity, Dragoneer bought the site back with his own money when they threatened to shut it down. Furaffinity has served and will continue to serve as a haven for the furry community

There are rumors of this site shutting down. As far as I know this is not true.

Hey everybody! I recently got a new computer. It's a lot faster than my previous one. So from here on out, I'll be making all of my future drawings in 4k resolution. All uploads on FA will still be limited to 1280x1280 though since I don't have an FA+ subscription. You can find full resolution versions of my drawings on e621 (https://e621.net/posts?tags=xevv)

Speaking of which, I have a Lance and Sherry drawing in the works. It'll be out in a week or so. I think you guys will like it :)

So I'm sure a lot of you guys are aware of FurAffinity's latest updates. Images depicting characters with childlike proportions aren't allowed (this is to prevent "she looks like a child, but is actually a 1000 year old vampire" type posts). Some people are worried that this might lead to false takedowns (e.g. short adults may be misinterpreted as children).

On May 22, they made a second post clarifying this update (https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10557600). Apparently this is a rule that existed since 2015 and the last post was just to clarify the rule, so nothing's actually changing (except for one thing). The main difference now is that the rule is being expanded to include pokemon and digimon. Apparently this rule wasn't being properly enforced on images depicting pokemon/digimon in some cases, so now they're doubling down on it. Think images with baby pokemon for example. If you draw an anthro pichu with adult proportions, you'll be fine, but if you draw a pichu with its normal proportions, it may get taken down

Also, if it wasn't obvious enough already, this only applies to NSFW images. Children are fine to depict in SFW drawings

A lot of people are saying goodbyes and posting their alt accounts on other sites, but I don't think there's actually much to worry about. On a related note, I suppose it might be good idea to mention that I also post to e621. In case something actually does happen to my account, you can find me under the "xevv" tag. Hey guys, just a quick update here. I'll be on vacation for the next few weeks. I probably won't be making any new drawings for the next month or two. Cheers!

Here's an update on the Lance and Sherry foreskin play animation for anyone who's curious. When I posted the video on E621, the ending was still unfinished. Sherry is supposed to stand up, then lift up Lance, and kiss him. I finally finished it and all that's left is to color in the animation.

I was going to post a GIF preview of the finished ending scene, but after spending an hour fiddling with Adobe Animate, I couldn't get it to work. It kept bugging out. I was really lucky to even get my first preview GIF to export in the first place (that one also took like an hour of fiddling to get working). Maybe I will try again tomorrow.

Since the whole animation is hand drawn frame-by-frame, I'm also probably going to have to color it in frame-by-frame as well. I think it will be another month or two before it's done.

It's been about a month since my previous journal, so I think Im ready to start drawing again. I'll still be a bit busy for the next few weeks (maybe even a few months), so I might not be able to push out art as quickly as I have been before.

I mentioned in my last journal that it would take about another month worth of work for me to finish the animation project, but I think that'll have to be pushed back a little bit. Part of it being because I don't have as much free time as I did before, other part being that I want to do some drawings on the side as well. I haven't made any new drawings in like 3 months, so I need to start practicing again. I'm probably gonna push out a new drawing within a week or two. The animation will be done when it's done

Happy Foreskin Appreciation Day (4/4) everybody! The animation project I've been working was supposed to be released today, but it's still not done, unfortunately. So I've decided to release what I have as a preview on e621: https://e621.net/posts/3260580

Unfortunately, though, I'm gonna have to push off this project for a while. I got some personal projects I wanna work on. I have to drop work on this animation for the next few weeks (probably about a month). I think it'll take almost another month's worth of work before I'm done with the animation, so I'd predict the final animation probably won't be released until roughly 2 months from now.

Hey everybody, I've started working on a big project. I don't want to reveal to much about it, I want to leave it a surprise for when I'm done. It does involve Lance and Sherry, though (no surprise there). I don't have an ETA, but it will probably take a few months.

I will still be making drawings in the meantime, but this will mean that drawings will come out less frequently than usual.
