It's been a busy few weeks for me, hence the lack of activity on here. Lots of visits from family and other such stuff that has prevented me from being able to draw much. On top of that, I now I have a new tablet which I have been practicing with, and getting used to over the past few days X3

So expect more art coming soon, and with increased frequency again looking into the future

Just a quick update journal. I'd like to apologize for my lack or art production and posting lately, especially to those who are currently waiting on my commission queue.

Not going into to much detail, I've been through a stressful period lately, including having to move, but hopefully things are finally starting to look up now.

I've thought about this for a while, and finally decided to set up a tip jar on Patreon. Non of my artwork is being pay-walled, and all my normal content will still be uploaded here X3. This is just a way for any particularly generous folks who like my artwork to support me, and get a few small benefits in return.

There will be some benefits for those who do. Artwork will be posted to my Patreon at least 2 days before posted to other websites, and it will be at it's native (high) resolution. In addition I will use it as a place to post WIP's, and as a place to put up rough sketch-work that I would not normally post to my art pages. I'm not expecting any support, but I will be very grateful to anyone who does decide to support me.

So in summary, as just a watcher of my art page you will not notice any difference (I often have artwork sat around on my computer for a few days before posting it, and a lot of my sketch-work never get's posted anyway). If you do decide to support me, you will get a few extras.

Hey all

Just wanted to point out that the reason I've been doing YCH's and more commissions as of late is because i'm currently out of work. I am actively looking for new work, but have not had any luck as of yet. Hoping I can find something soon, but you never know.

The point is that art is pretty much my only income just now. I still have all my previous outgoing such as rent , food and gas/electric bills. I have a little money saved as backup, but it's not going to last long. So yeah, I hope any price increases haven't put people off.

If any of you were looking to support me, please take part in any YCH's that I post up. I understand if you don't think they are worth the price, but it's now more than ever that I need the support. I will be putting my all into completing them to the highest standard I can. On that subject, are there any themes or ideas you would like to see for future one's? Just let me know.

I'm still working on commissions as well, and might take some more soon. I will be doing long streams every weekday until further notice while I work on YCH's and commissions. I may start offering in stream commissions too for those who are interested.

I greatly appreciate the support that you have all given me so far, and I hope to keep making art and improving long into the future. You guys are all the best X3

On a side note, how would you guys feel about some possible YCH's? It's only a vague thought at the moment, but if there is interest I might try some out. They would probably just be set price ones.

I will start by saying that I love getting comments and always read them.

As of lately though I haven't always been replying, so i just thought I would explain why.

Usually I would like to put some effort into making a decent reply. Often though I just have no idea what to say other than a generic thank you. This is especially true when it is a comment that contains a lot of compliments about the image in question, as I still see a lot of errors in my own work.

So yeah, I thank you all for the kind comments that you have left. I will try and get back around to replying regularly, but I might need to just cut the backlog of older comments.

So, onto the second point. Lately I have been finding I have less time to draw. In reality it's probably not changed that much, but I will get on to that.

Basically, I work full time during the week, this being necessary to keep enough money to get by on. I still get evenings off work, but often by that point I am tired and it's harder to focus on drawing decently. As for the weekends, it kinda depends. Sometimes I can devote a full weekend to drawing as I'd like, but I often have to do other work for my family.

Still I will be drawing whenever I get chance.

Unfortunately it will be ruined (for me atleast) by a ridiculous amount of hyper pregnancy art and cash grabbing (OMG 200+ children lol), and will totally miss the point of actually celebrating pregnancy and bringing a new life into the world.

I could say a lot more, but I wont. I don't blame other for liking this stuff either. After all, people can like whatever they want. I will say this however.

Basically, I don't want myself, or my art, to be associated with this mess.

(This wont be altering my usual schedule, just felt like venting a bit as I'm fed up with people associating me with this kind of stuff, when in reality it makes me feel sick)

Hey all, sorry if I have been a little slower than usual with drawing and such. My grandfather passed away on Thursday, and that put me in a bit of a slump. I'm not expecting sympathy, because it's just of those things, but I just needed a few days to myself.

I'm getting back into the swing of things now though, so expect more stuff posted, and more progress on my commissions soon

Also, I have over 300 watchers here somehow, which is kind of insane. Thank you all, you are the best.

(Yes, I have increased the prices. As they were previously, there was almost no incentive for me to actually work on them, as I got literally nothing in return for many hours of my time. It was either increase the price to give me a reason for taking them, or close permanently. I don't expect people to be willing to pay the new prices, but the option is there for the people who do. (I also feel I've improved a decent amount since first opening, so the increase also reflects that.))

I've been having a number of issues with my tablet pen lately. Wont go into too much detail, but the pressure will randomly not work, and clicking will randomly either double click, or just not recognize the click at all. It's going to be about £55 ($80) to get a replacement from what I've seen. I'll therefore be trying to raise some money towards it before the issues get any worse.

Well, about as fixed as it can be. I doubt it's got long left, but at least the crashing issue is resolved.

Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things over the next few days.

My laptop has never been particularly reliable, but this week it has degraded quite a bit and is crashing constantly every few hours. It also tends to crash immediately upon trying to run anything which requires a lot of processing power. I'm therefore going to be taking it down to a computer repair shop tomorrow, in the hope that it can be fixed. This likely means that I'll be without it (and thus unable to draw) for at-least a few days though maybe up to a week or so.

I'll still try to be around using my mobile when I can, and I do have a few simple things to upload during my absence. I wont be on Skype though, as I've never been able to get it to work on my phone.

I've been considering this for a little while. As of late I think the quality of my work has improved to the point where I can offer these. I'm not expecting much interest, but It still gives people the option. I will still be working on requests when I get the chance, though commissions would take priority, and have the option of being to a higher quality.

Any money raised from these will be set aside to replace and potentially upgrade the equipment I use to draw, so If you like what I do, then any little bit helps. If I cannot complete your commission within 2 months, I will offer a full refund. Payments will be taken through Paypal for ease of use. If you wish to discuss things with me you can send me a note.

I've spent a while thinking about the prices. While I'm sure there will be better offers out there, it wouldn't really be worth it for me to work for any less considering the amount of time some of these can take. To the same extent I've seen people charge 15-20$ for sketches that only take them 20-30 minutes to complete, so I think this strikes a balance. The normal rules apply as to what I will draw, and I can reject any commission if I don't want to do it.

Just letting people know that I'm taking a 1 week hiatus on uploads. I usually I try to upload a few times a week, but this will just allow me to catch up on things.

I have still been drawing, just that I wont be uploading my next few images myself. I'll still be online as usual though.
