For you information, I'll start to work on new commissions next year. I'd like to finish some non-commission work by of this year.

First of all, I decided not to use Furaffinity messaging system for commission. I got so many messages and it is not possible to manage them properly (No search, sort, etc.)
I'll use E-mail instead. I got a lot of messages during the last few months (Years?) and to be honest I didn't have time to answer to 95% of them, I'm sorry about this. If you're in this case, that's nothing against you in particular.

I got many "I'm interested to get a commissions" messages with no more details, but I don't have time to answer all of them individually.
If you're interested in a commissions, please go straight to the topic and send directly your animation idea (In few lines) and the characters involved (Very important, with NSWF details if possible), so I'll see if I'm interested to work on it or not!

If you sent a FA note during the past 24 months, feel free to resend it by E-mail, I probably read it quickly but forgot about it.

Hi all,
After that fake account/impersonator problem ( https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9457145 ), I decided to create my own twitter account to post my animations.
It doesn't take much time to post on twitter ( I just need to find an easy way to convert/trim the videos for twitter) and at least it will help to prevent fake accounts.

My patreon has been temporarily suspended last tuesday. The reason ? Nintendo complained about the Pokemon related content, copyright infrigement bullshit.
So patreon suspended my account and asked me to remove some posts so my account can be re-activated. The concerned animation are :

The reason ? I believe they didn't even watch them, but it's just a basic keyword search. The first animation they asked me to remove had "Growlithe" and "Arcanine" tags, and the second one has "Glaceon" in the post name, even though the character is not a pokemon at all. Lol.
There are no reference to Pokemon in the two others posts, so I believe that's why they didn't find them and they're not listed.

Well, basically if you make some pokemon related content on Patreon, do not mention any pokemon name or the word "Pokemon" and it will be fine, I believe.

I had to delete the 2 first animations to have my account re-activated. (It's OK now) I'm not going to repost them on Patreon, or at least not directly. I'll find a way to include them in a pack with several animations, or something like that. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As you have probably noticed, I don’t make as much content as I did in the past. I’m doing my best but I’ve been busy in real life for many reasons: mostly because of my job (especially between March and July this year) and also a bought a house in June, and there’s a lot of work to do in it...
I'm doing my best to work on animations but right now, I have about 1+ year delay in my commission schedule, so that’s why I couldn’t take any commissions during for more than a year.

About Future Commissions
I see that many people are still interested to get a commission from me, according to all the messages I got about it. Unfortunately, I couldn't reply to any note for more than a year because I had no time for it (Or only few of them).
Same for the comments on my submissions: I usually read and appreciate them but I don’t have to answer.
When I get a new note, I’m usually like “I’ll reply later” but then 6 months later I don’t, because it’s too late and the person is probably no longer interested to get a commission after so much time.
The other problem is: I’m struggling to find interesting animations ideas from people asking for a commission. Maybe I’ve been doing this for too long (Over 10 years!), but there are still a lot of things I would like to animate, so I'm going to change how I’m picking commissions.

The main idea is that I will propose a list of animations ideas (more or less detailed) that I’d like to make, with a price range, what kind of character I expect, any restrictions, etc. Then interested people could apply for a specific animation idea. At least, if you like my idea, it would increase your chance to get a commission from me. Many ideas will be pretty generic, so I’ll be open to some changes as long as it remains close enough to the original idea.

I’m still working on the animation idea list, I will publish it later and It will be most likely a spreadsheet. I'll make a new post as soon as it is ready.
Also, I’ll make a list of character species and features I’d like to animate, so it could increase your chance to get a commission.

Of course, there will be no changes if you’re currently waiting for a standard commission from me, it will not be cancelled, don't worry. (I can’t promise anything about the deadline, though...)

Finally, I started to work on bigger animation project at the beginning of this year: a 10-15 minutes animation, but I’ll give more details later! Don’t expect anything soon; it will take a while to complete, probably not before the end of next year. I want to take my time for it!

Happy new year, and I'm back from my trip in North Korea and China... Haha, it was something! As expected, everyone here worried for nothing.

About N.K : I'm currently working on a more detailed report, but in short : It was not as terrible as its reputation.
It was actually much better than what the TV and the internet says.

- You can take pictures of pretty much everything... as long as It's not offensive for the great leaders and no military things.
- The korean guides were nicer than expected, no military, just normal people.
- The didn't check our phones/computers/cameras/bags, both on arrival and departure. They ask few questions and that's all. (It's not worse than when you visit the US or Canada as tourist, honestly...)
- Even if most places we visited were only for tourists, It was possible to visit some places for local people (including a supermarket and the metro of Pyongyang) and to talk to them in the street. (I didn't, because I can't speak Korean)
- We were 8 tourists in the tour, and 5 of them were from the USA, 1 British and 1 Australian. It's open to everyone except south koreans.

However, many things you see on TV are true. There was really few cars in Pyongyang, and almost none in the smaller towns, most people
are just walking or using a bike. The countryside looks very poor... but not worse than some areas in China, southeast Asia or western Europe.
There's no internet out there. Pyongyang is pretty dark by night, all the light goes to the Great leader's buildings! The trip from China to Pyongyang was scary, when I saw the plane, I was like "Well, this thing can fly for real... ?"

Anyway, if you're interested, you can go for it!

China is definitely interesting to visit too... the only terrible thing was the air quality, especially around Beijing. Shanghai was a bit better.
Don't expect people to speak anything else than Chinese there, but I survived only with "Hello" and "Thank you" in chinese! People may speak english in very touristic places only.

Anyway, regarding my activity on FA, I noticed that I made really few animations in 2016 (only 6).That's bad, I'll try to be more productive in 2017... it can't be worse than 2016, though.
I already have a couple of short animations that will be finished this month, and bigger projects should come back in February / March.

So, After almost 3 weeks, my baggage lost by Air France during my return trip from Eurofurence was found and delivered yesterday morning!

Thankfully nothing is missing or damaged.. only the smell was terrible, haha.

I didn't get any indemnity from the airline, since they took less than 3 weeks to find and deliver the baggage...
Legally, they do not owe me anything but however, I'll try to negociate to get a free ticket, or a voucher or something from them.

This problem being fixed, I can take care of my commissions again, and especially pick the commissions from the last time I opened them 2 months ago, and finish the ongoing commission (Next one at the end of this week, hopefully).

8 days ago, I came back from Eurofurence ( It was fun, though! )
I had a very bad surprise when I arrived at the airport : my check-in baggage was not there.

I did a baggage claim procedure, and they told me that my baggage should be delivered in a couple of days, but no news since Monday, 22nd of August. I'm calling the company (Air France) almost every day, but they're still unable to tell me where my baggage is, like "It was forwarded from Berlin to Paris, but we're not sure". Lol

Because of unexpected event (I won't talk about it here, see my recent twitter posts if you want to know...),
finishing my commissions took more time than expected, but I guess it's time to be open again.
I'm still not done with my previous commissions, but they should be finished soon, it shouldn't take more than few months.

It was fun. I know I'm a bit late to the party (Especially that the movie is available since mid-February here), but I didn't want to watch it because of too much hype, and finally it was better than I thought, and some scenes and characters managed to make me lol. ( It's rare ! )
Well, since many people asked : I'd certainly make porn of it between two commissions but don't expect anything soon.

Only two confirmed :

- Furnal Equinox 2016 (March, Toronto - Canada), and visiting friends in Québec after that!
- EAST as Guest of Honor (July, Somewhere in Germany)

I'm not going to EF, first time since 2009! Last year was meh (Except the day at Tropical Islands, and friday night !). I have the feeling that EF is becoming uninteresting if you're not a fursuiter. Also, the fact that the main hotel was booked out in 1 hour didn't help.

By the way, if you sent a note and expect a response from me, please be patient, I'll do my best, but my new job takes more time than expected.

2015 was okay for me, good things and bad things :

- Many trips and new countries visited ( Canada, Japan, Thailand, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Romania )
- Few furry cons, (only 2 this year) including my first convention as Guest of honour ( Furnal Equinox in Canada, a very good one !)
- Boring job, but know it's over, I'm starting something new in January.
- Health : Mostly okay, except the herpes zoster infection in October. Not good, wouldn't recommend
- Not enough time to work on commissions, I couldn't finished everything in my list... I wanted to re-open commissions in january but it will take more time than expected. Most likely in march-april. I still have to many commissions in my list to take more of them, sorry if you were waiting for it.

How about 2016 ?
First thing, I'll start a new job in 1 week. Unfortunately, the new job isn't in the same place, so I'm going to move from my little town in the east of France to Marseille (south). I didn't want to move there, because this place has a very bad reputation ( In short, it's like the french version of Miami in Florida, USA : nice place, beaches and sun, but gangstah and crime everywhere ), but the salary is rather interesting. We'll see!

I'm moving there next week, so I'll have less time to work on commissions, probably until the end of January, so don't worry for the slow responses. I'll do my best to work on my commissions and respond to notes and comments.

I usually offer a downloadable archive with all my work in high quality every year, but if you remember, last year I had some troubles with paypal (They called me because I got too many payments), so I'm thinking about the Patreon solution.

So, is anyone interested to get every new animation in high quality / resolution for... I don't know, $2 per month maybe ? (I guess it's a reasonable price?)
I mean, everytime I release a new animation on FA, every patreon will get the high quality version too.

I could propose all the older animations for a certain amount too, I don't want to see some people paying $2 for 1 month to get everything and stopping after that, it's too easy :P
