Hey there all,

My art has been looking like the same silverstripe dragon over and over and over and I need new ideas! I'm only the slightest proficient at drawing snouts, so only headshots are preferred, but if you send me some character info, I'll see what I can do about conbadge like requests. ^.^
This is all free for you guys, so I can't promise they will be done in any sort of time frame, but I want to expand my arts skillz a bit. I do promise to get to all of them that come in though. ^.^

Thats right, right now I am at most 50 views away form 1k. *Squees* Whoever catches it, note me with a link to the picture and I will see what I can do. ^.^
Just as a disclaimer, I'm not much of an artist, but I try, and it would help me branch out and try to make something for someone, so don't get your hopes up for something as good as Athus or anything. But I will try!

Which means arts and doodles from me! Because everyone knows that drawing is so much more important than studying! :p

I've actually bought myself a little sketchbook to carry in my backpack, something to pull out while trying in vain to listen to the teachers lectures. I'm not 1000% sure how I'm going to get them into the computer, but the better ones I will work very hard at putting here.

I'm also looking for a few things to work on. Horns in a big thing, and various little details people add onto snouts. I like how I have them now, and it's time to expand. ^^ Shading will come soon, once I get a few more details put in place. So if you guys know any good pictures that have great references for these things, post links to them here, or tell me the artist name and I will look them up. ^^

The computer is UP! Things seem to be going well, though I quit trying to install things because it was getting boring. But, I am back online, and everything is going well. Thanks everyone for all the support. Shoutout to Mycroft, Noxy, and the local friend John for all the help. ^^
Only one more thing and thats webcam drivers, I just need to remember what webcam I have. ^.^;;

Onto other things,

I am going to take one semester here at Tech to get everything in order then I plan on moving! I'm wanting to move to a rather populated area, one with some of my friends around so I can hang out and do things with them. It gets rather lonely two miles past the end of the world. I'm also looking to find a place that has a lot of radio stations around it, and perhaps looking into getting a job there.
So, I'm taking names! Who wouldn't mind potentially having a silverstripe dragon as a roommate? It's a good six ish months down the road still, but best to look into it now while I have choices. ^^

Well everybody, it's time. I will be heading off here in a few days to go to AC. The trip from here to there will be a grueling one, but mostly because I will be staying with my parents three ish days beforehand. but it's for a good cause. ^^

This means that I will only be available by e-mail unless I can somehow jump on via a computer either at my parents place or Pyxaron's laptop.

In case anyone wants to know, this is my itinerary. I will be driving down to GR on the first ish. I will be there until the fourth in which I will make my way to PA early early early. I MIGHT be picking up Keden from the airport, meaning Keden, get back to me on that. I will be at Anthrocon over the weekend, adn then I will be out for a week buming at peoples houses while on a road trip with Pyxaron.
My hope is to be back by the fifteenth but no promises. I am not a fan of winging things most of the time but that is what is happening this time. Oh well, should be fun. ^^ If anyone wants us to stop on by, wave a paw. We are hoping to stay on the easternside of the US, and probably wont be going too far south either. We know we are popping into Azu's in Chicago, and also Noxy's in the Milwaukee are, but that leaves two or three days in which we are open to really go anywhere. I was browsing around FA and I looked back at my page for a sec, only to notice that I hit my own 500th pageview. I know people celebrate their 1000'th, 5000th, and some even their 10,000th, but unless some god touches me with some artistic talent, I doubt I'll hit those any time soon XD

So here's to the 500! Cause thats the best I'm gunna get for a good while!

Does anyone know what the policies are for crossing the US/Canadian border? I know by plane you must have a passport, but how about by land? I've been trying to find out the answer, but I can't find any specific "Yes you need a passport," or "No, you only need a Birth Certificate and a second ID," answers. It's all political mumbo jumbo. I tried calling the embasy in Detroit but never got an answer so I'm asking you all here.

Anyone know if a Canadian can cross the border by land without a passport?

I need a name for the guy! I've got a few picked out, and a few from friends. I want to try to keep them asexual because I don't know the actual gender and probably wont be finding out till I get anoter male and female and find out which one he goes for.

The choices at this moment are:
Hoss
Ssy (Pronounced Sai. Read Stephen Kings "Dark tower" for context. <3)
From Velen: Shinobi (He's a fricken ninja in this tank!)
From Dragocorn: you could name him dax. it's latin for devourer. ^.=.^

Anyone else's suggestion should be posted here, as well as votes for the name. No promises that the one with the most votes will win though.

I'd have tp say my happiest moment was when I first placed him in the tank and said, "He's mine." My most relieved moment was when I woke up and saw him still in his tank. You have no idea how many snakes I tried to keep as a cild only to find the next morning that they had escaped back into the wilderness...

I'm getting a snake I think. ^^ I'm nto entirely sure but these are the three kinds they have at the petstore. I wont limit myself though and the internets has a lots to offer. Someone mentioned a red tailed Boa. Now, thats a little exotic, but about the right size. ^^
The only thing someone else mentioned was a Tegu. I like Lizards, and it seemed intelligent and would be nice but... I'm so attached to snakes.... Any and all thoughts are welcomed ^^ I have a week (Or more) But I'd like to get something ^^

Well this is a way to end a trip eh? A friend of my grandfather was taking my grandfathers plane and was going to finish building it for him (Since G-pa can't do it very well anymore), so I got to haul the massive box with Ben (Friend of G-pa's) over to his garage that had all the parts and also brought over the wings which had been mostly assembled.
Nothing spectacular happened, but today, around 11 AM, there was a knock at the door. The same guy was there and, when I opened the door, he asked, "Want to go flying?"
Obvious answer, "YES!"

So today for a good hour and fifteen minutes I got to go flying with this guy and had a BLAST! I brought my camera along and got lots of pictures. ^^ I will post links to my DA when I get everything uploaded.

Conditions this morning weren't too great, but he only laughed and said it would be boring if the conditions were perfect. So we got in the little plane (2 seater), taxied out, and took off just about sideways due to the wind XD

It was pretty bumpy for the first bit, as the thermals and the wind was pushing us everywhere. We got to just below the cieling (Which was about 2k feet) and coasted there for a bit. We winded around to my grandparents place and then to my parents place and I got pictures of both. You can see a little yellow dot on the ground that represents my mum. ^^

Then we went above the cloudline and I just dropped my jaw in awe. It was beautiful and I got some lovely pictures.

I got to fly the plane for a little bit and it was so natural. I guess it was my 2000 hours playing ace combat. ^.^ (SoaP referance! <-- (I think... I may be a little off...))

He pulled off some fun tricks. I got to watch my camera float for a few seconds. ^^ We had fun stalling a little and did some tight turns. My stomache still is blah from it :p

I have to wrap this up here, sadly. I will post a link to the pictures which I will upload to DA. Hopefully will happen within a week here cause I got lots ^^

I will be on my way for the 8 hour drive tomorrow morning at 8 AM. Bright eyed and scaly tailed eh? See ya'll soon!

Well, soon I shall be going back to Tech, at least for a month and a half or something :p I dunno exactly whats going on but I am going with the flow. I should be leaving Friday early morning and will be going through Michigan this time (Instead of Wisconson) So it wont take as long (Chicago traffic = terrible). I better hear from all of you when I get back online and can't wait to talk again. Hope to see everyone soon!

Well, I'm having lots of fun out here. [/sarcasm] It's not so bad though. Could be worse. I've had to change from being mostly nocturnal to being diurnal and it is blah. Anyways, this is more for me, but for those who want to know, here is my new scedual.

7:15 AM - Wake up bright eyed and scalie tailed.
8:00 - Get the dogs ready and take them for their morning walk. Feed the chickens and make sure things are okay at the barn. Dogs = uber precious to grandma.
8:45 - 9:00 AM - Drive down to Aunt's party store and make sure things are okay there. Stay for a while and watch the party store with her.
1:00 PM - Come back to the house and get the dogs ready again for another walk.
3 ish - Go down to the barn and do a number of things. These include

feeding;
corn;
Sheep pen #1 - Fill the five food bins with a scoop each.
Sheep pen #2 - Fill the two bins with a scoop each.
Mixed food;
Swans - out by the A-frame building.
Llamas - full scoop divided in half between the two of them.
Hay;
Sheep pen #1 - lots and lots in the big bin because the females are pregnant.
sheep pen #2 - a bale between the two feeders.
Llamas - When needed.

Water;
Fill the sheep pen #2 buckets and make sure the llamas have water.

Cleaning;
Llama's get the pen cleaned every other day.
Sheep pen #2 - clean out the poo from the feed bins and water.
Sheep pen #1 - same.

Make sure all the doors are closed and locked and clean the barn a little.

5:00 PM - Get the dogs ready again and take them for another walk. Go to the chicken pen again and do that once more. Collect any eggs and bring them inside as well.

10:00 PM - Get the dogs ready again for the final walk.

Then I'm done for the day. It doesn't sound like much but it's work, especially since there is ALWAYs something that goes wrong >.< Guess I just have to fight it as it comes.

As for getting a chat program... I am going to try I think, but I am going to have to be careful with it. More than likely trillian or GAIM (More likely trillian cause I have used it before.) I do not know when I will be on it though. May never be with how slow this thing is and how much time they have free (They said something like 300 or 600 minutes >.<) And I do not want to build up a bill for them. They get enough of those already.

I will try to check e-mail every day. I will try to check LJ every day and DA. FA... I might just wait with FA... (*Sighs,* I may need that FA nuke afterwards too.)
