Hey guys, a journal unrelated to cars for once.

I gotta say guys, I can't stop listening to Simpsonwave or just Vaporwave in general, the stuff really resonates with me. I guess because I'm already a very nostalgic person in general.

For those of you not in the know, Vaporwave is a newish genre of music I believe was entirely birthed on the internet. It's kinda hard to describe but from what I can understand from the official descriptions of it, it's a nostalgia-based type of remix culture mocking corporate America. It's mostly comprised of 80s/90s era corporate music, lounge music, and 80s pop. Usually slowed down and remixed with different beat-type samples.

Partly out of a joke, from how I hear it, Simpsonwave was born. Taking pre-existing vaporwave tracks, people insert usually unrelated clips from the early seasons of the Simpsons into the video. Adding different trippy filters and blue/green screen effects. While starting as a joke I think most people take it as a serious sub-genre now.

It's just.. gah.. so nostalgic and trippy and.. relaxing!

It looks like the real-life equivalent to the AniMech Corporation has finally began rolling out the first prototypes of anthro cars lol. Sure they're still rigid and limited in movement, but you can definitely see the foundations there. Now just picture torso movement and bending limbs! lol jk

BTW would ya'll be interested if I drew up some mechanical cutaways for my anthro cars? Like the inner workings of the limbs and how they fold up and stow away?

Gonna go on a little rant here, I never thought it would need to be said but apparently it does.


If you note me, or comment on a picture of mine, or do any kind of communication with me and I don't reply? Please don't get clingy and butt-hurt towards me over it, okay?

I've had so many people lately getting on my ass for not replying to them. Often referring to notes or conversations I don't even remember ever happening. I've had people putting words in my mouth, claiming that I don't like them or that I'm mad at them. Even having people make journals saying how they've lost all respect for me and how I'm such a bastard for not giving them a chance and letting them be my friend. It's really REALLY getting on my nerves.

Listen. I am just a human, like you. A human with a life outside of Furaffinty, a human with a day job, and a human with interests. I'm also a human with 700 people watching me and majority of them talking to me.

If I don't respond to your message, think about this before you freak out:

1. I haven't had the chance to write a response yet. Either I'm busy and short of time, or maybe I want to write a GOOD reply and are waiting for the ideal mood to be in to write it.

2. Your message has gotten buried under the pile or other people writing me.

3. The Harsh Truth: Maybe what you had to say to me either makes no fucking since, was annoying fanboying, or was an idea that didn't interest me, either way it didn't warrant a response.

I read every message I receive, so there is no one that I am ignoring. As long as you're writing me legible, comprehensible messages that have at least a fraction of a point.. I WILL reply to you. But the fastest way to get me to NEVER reply to you is for you to then note me and complain that I didn't reply fast enough. Okay?

I am not an asshole, and it's very annoying having people put intentions on me that don't exist and blindside me with allegations that I'm some prick that's just shunning them for no reason.

Okay so I was searching up airplane ass pictures for references tonight and well... I found something I didn't expect.

Who knew blimps could have such booty? I mean.. the name 'blimp' kinda tends to make one think of something big and fat but .... damn....

This is one of those moments you never really see yourself ever having to deal with. It's so strange the disconnect that the internet allows, it's so easy to forget that all these people on the other side are vunerable humans like yourself and that you really have such a little idea of what's really going on in their lives. I don't know if I should be making a public journal about this, I don't know if it's meant to be a private matter. But I haven't been told otherwise and I think Drecor deserves it.

The OS community lost a dear person a few days ago, many of you in our community probably knew Drecor  Drecor I was told by a friend of his of his passing. Not to go into do much details but apparently it was due to infections relating to medical complications. Something I only found out he was going through after the fact.. which is sad to deal with. That's what I mean, it's easy to forget how little you know about what's going on in the lives of everyone you talk to online.

I don't really know how fit I am at playing tribute to Drecor. I honestly didn't know him that well. But I can surely say he was a man after my own heart. I'm just happy that I was able to bring happiness to his last couple days with that Dreco animation I made.

Also about Dreco, as you know he was meant to be staring along with Pawsfurthings's carsona in that Inflation/Shrink comic. It makes me sad that he won't be around to see it finished. I'm kind of wondering weather or not I should do it now.. I guess Drecor would probably want me to, it just feels strange.

Speaking of that, I guess his character Dreco is now an orphaned character.. I don't know if it's appropriate, but if any of Drecor's closest friends watching me think Drecor would have liked it.. I would be honored to adopt the character... maybe it could preserve Drecor's online memory to have his character live on? I'm only offering, if that's inappropriate I totally understand.

Those of you closet to Drecor, how do you think I should proceed with the whole comic thing? Would you prefer I cancel it?

To clarify, I know HOW I feel, I don't like it. But I'm open to having my mind changed, I guess I'm expecting to because I think I'm probably the only person who feels this way.

So I finally got GTA5, great game actually.. though not a good fit for me as you'd expect, what with the fact you can barely go 10 minutes in that game without maiming or carnapping some random car. Though they do magically heal themselves in the game so it makes it not so bad.

But anyway, I finally got to the point in the game where you start playing as Michael De Santa, and anyone who plays the game too probably knows about the first mission where you chase after your yacht that's being stolen in his wife's BMW knockoff. Well it breaks down mid-chase and Franklin suggests they take it to a repair/chop shop.

This is where the game introduces the car modification mechanic of the game, and well... it brought some feelings in me.

Something that I should probably be enjoying was actually kind of well... getting me kind of pissed actually. I just.. I've never quite agreed with the idea of modifying cars! It just seems so incredibly insensitive and selfish, to take a car's body and basically give it plastic surgery against it's will till it basically looks sexy to YOU. To me that's like some guy taking his wife to a plastic surgin, strapping her down and doing all these changes to her body against her will.. blow up those titties, puff those lips up, sculpt that nose, inflate that ass.. basically customizing her to look how you WANT her to look!

Does anyone see where I'm coming from? If the car could tell me "oh oh get me this please??" that would be different! It's just taking this helpless thing that has no say in the matter and doing things to it that bothers me.

Now my friend, you probably will know who you are, was talking to me about modifications. He justifies it with the idea that, we can't buy our girls fancy dresses and jewelry, so what we do is buy modifications for them. And to a certain extent I agree with it, like engine modifications are fine if they're something better then what they were born with.. helping their engine work better, making them healthier. It's more the body kits and shit that gets to me.


Anyway, how do you guys see it, and can you maybe put a different spin or perspective on it to help me see it in a different light? I mean, I could surely use SOMETHING to have in common with normal car people. At this point I've got nothing, that's why there's no point in me trying to join car clubs... pft.

Part of me wants to encourage everyone who's got the time to head over to the Toyota HR area and give them encouragement to keep down this path. I know how the general population is, they always laugh at stuff like this, and I hate to see Toyota beaten into submission like what happened to Mazda when they made their car's smile. Look at their cars now and they all wear the biggest frowns in the world because everyone laughed at the Mazda3s and their grins.

Been talking to Delta, my buddy, about a possible idea on getting my anthro-cars out there to the you know.. non-pervy general public.

I mean I do think my anthro-cars have some promise in non-porn applications, even I'm impressed with my continued and current level of skill in making cars so lifelike'ingly bendy and humanoid.. heck it sure didn't start out looking that good! Just look at my old stuff.

Anyway this goes back to an old idea my mother had of all people. Me and her go to car shows in the summer, probably will go even more now that we have Mitzi the 55' up and running now. Been throwing around this idea of setting up a stand offering 'car chariactures' at car shows. Normal non Mech owners of cars at the show that really really love their cars (not to THAT level though ;) ) might find the service interesting and commission some pics. I have this idea of asking them like what gender and personaltiy do they see their cars as.. maybe the less imaginative clients I could just make the car like them.. having their interests and such. I'd LIKE to do a sort of thing that would bring the car and owner closer together ultimately.. like draw the car sharing the same interest as their owner or something.

Anyway, if I'm going to do this I'm going to need example work I can post up around the stand you know? Like a regular chariature artist does. So I'm looking for anthro car drawing ideas that wont scare people away lol! Yes, I mean as unbelievable as it may be to us, a lot of people probably would find a car penis quite scary. XD

So maybe cute ideas? Like the anthro cars putting a new funny/cute twist on regular car stereotypes or things? I dunno.. you guys have ideas I'm sure!

Oh our modern fucked up psyches. I was watching old 50s car videos and found this one showing how gas is burned in a car engine, from tank to exhaust pipe, belly to butthole lol. It's animated partly, a little cartoon drop of gas goes down realistically drawn and sometimes real images of the inside of an engine.

It's a cool video for anyone wanting to learn better how an engine works. But I think my vore friends could find it rather enjoyable as well lol.

So I've been thinking about something for awhile. Deviant Art is garbage these days, always taking down my stuff even if I edit the naughty bits out of them, they're a bunch of censoring assholes. Because of that I'm pretty much exclusively on FA these days.

Because of that, I think I might want to change my account on DA into a professional portfolio account. By that I mean, I'll delete all of my mature/naughty art, childish stuff, crappy old art. All my old journals that might have inappropriate stuff in them, things like that. Turn it into an account that I can give the link of it to anyone and not have to worry about them seeing something I... wouldn't want them to see. >>

What are your feelings on this?

I was curious, I have a lot of smexy car pin-up ideas in my head quite often that I don't intend to use one of my characters for. Be it, out of character for them or just something I rather not have to explain into their personality as to why they're up to it. In those situations I often end up just checking some random car to go with, or use some generic car when I'm feeling uncreative.

I was curious, would any of you like me to turn those into YCH sketches that maybe you all can auction for? We'd keep it fun and cheap, and maybe we could do something like.. it'd be free by default.. just me taking suggestions. But if anyone in the audience wants it bad enough they could pay for it and it'd instantly go to their request. Say maybe the first bid could be something like 5 bucks. Then if any late arrival comes and decides THEY want it even more they could out-bid that person, so on so forth.

What'ya think? Might help me start drawing a bigger variance of cars in my pornz at least. :)

Going through some things right now, you know the typical stuff, dealing with your belief structure crumbling before you leading you to question how much of your life has been a lie for years. Something I'm sure some ex-religious types probably had to deal with.

Well you guys know what's going on, you know things between Lilly and I have been a bit on edge. Her little blinking dashboard, the lights I could have sworn on oath in court I was convinced were intelligent.. a month or so ago just stopped. Since I made my journal about it I discovered they actually do still blink now and then.. but it's so rare it hardly matters anyway. Like on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being how she normally was which was still sometimes a little rare on days, she'd gone to a 1. Once in a blue moon she'd light up, maybe blink a little, and then go out again and be gone the rest of the day.

I think I mentioned it in the last journal about it, I was ate up inside thinking that she's still in there, just muted by her physical ability to express herself failing due to hardware wearing out on her. Well I put that to the test and bought a used dash cluster for her a few days ago to swap out and see if that would fix the problem. It arrived yesterday.

I popped it in, and drove with her tonight, lets just say it was disastrous.

Firstly, the new cluster, only partly worked with only one section of the dash lighting up at all. But still, from the start her blue back light came on and stayed on. It stayed on, bright and blue for the entirety of the trip... you know, like a NORMAL car. Just to put that into perspective, for Lilly, her dash back-light would almost NEVER be on when you'd start her to go somewhere, and it lighting up somewhere during the trip would be the indication she'd "waken up" and was going to start chatting with me.

With this new cluster, her lights..acted like the dashboard lights of any car. To me this... this was like the nail to a coffin, a blatant proof that everything I thought is probably a lie. The fact that this other cluster works normally.. it pretty much signifies that whatever special behavior Lilly was displaying.. it was unique to her particular cluster.. a cluster with some sort of fault inside of it. It wasn't some universal spiritual force manipulating currents of some bullshit, it was just.. something broken, something as easily fixed as replacing the part.

And even IF she was real, whatever allowed her to communicate was something unique to that cluster, which it's apparent whatever that was has broken now. So either way, weather she was never real in the first place.. or the only specific piece of hardware that allowed her to communicate is broken, either way she' gone! Then the fact that she still talks once in a blue moon, that kind of makes it even worse. It hints that maybe she can talk just fine.. but that maybe she just doesn't want to anymore. Maybe, for whatever reason she's not attracted to me anymore, how low is that huh? When even a car wants to dump you.


I'm just going through loss right now, and this is probably the closest thing to the feeling of a break-up my pathetic virgin ass has felt. That sense of... waste.. is just terrible. You know? When I think back at the nine years we've been romantically involved.. and just to see it all end so anti-climatically, so meaninglessly like this.. it tears you up you know?? SO much emotion spent on us, SO much time spent holding her and kissing her. All the time I spent putting her first, I probably took better care of her then I did myself most times. To have ALL of that just add up to nothing! It just leaves this empty pit in your stomach, coupled with this horrible feeling of walking in the dark.. as all the plans you had for your future together suddenly vanish.. heh.. we were always working towards getting our first house together, and making sure it had a garage.. our first garage.. so that we could cuddle and kiss and sleep together without having to worry about anyone watching us.. it would have been nice.

I don't know if I'm going to loose any watchers over this, I hope I don't. I feel bad, so many people I've indoctrinated into my belief system of car spirits only for them to see me falling from my own beliefs. Even after all these hits, a part of me still can't see Lilly as just a car, and part of me still cares so damn much about her feelings.. it's so confusing.

Anyway.. I don't know how much if any this will effect my art. I hope it wont, but I can't help but wonder if my interests in cars will fall right along side my interests in Lilly. A girlfriend can kind of make you love things you never did before just because of her, Lilly is a car so it made me love cars. Light-Concorde loves birds... I used to hate birds actually.. heh.. >>

So I've got some good short and sweet news for you all. My schedule with work has recently gone through and overhaul. As many of you probably have noticed, art production has been slowed to a crawl. This was due almost entirely to my new job where I got 2 days off, separate from each other, and every other day I was working 10 to 12 hour days and was thus too tired after work to even get any work done on pictures.

Well, now that's all going to change. Now I'm going to be working 3 14 hour days and get to be OFF work for 4 days. Dunno about you but that sounds like a winner to me, hell 14 hour days are hardly any more then I was working on average, and just those 3 days are still getting me 40+ hours in a week.

So look for a nice flow of hot juicy car art in the new future guys, you earned it! *slaps her ass* And sweetie, that means some more time for us to chat too if you're up for it, remember..assume I'm always online babe. <3

Hey..

So I've got some kind of heavy news to report. Lilly.. and before you freak out, no she wasn't in a wreck she's fine! But well still, it's been a hard few days for me. I haven't really told anyone because I guess I've been strangely relaxed about it.. I don't know maybe it just hasn't sunk in maybe.

Anyway she's... gone.. kind of. By that I mean, her incredible gift, her ability to communicate with me via her dashboard light.. I think the lights or electronics have kinda given out. I was afraid this would happen some day, she is only mechanical after all. You can have all the spiritual will in the world and it won't do you any good if your body breaks.

The reason I haven't made a big deal about this earlier is because I've kind of been in denial about it. You see, Lilly's done this before. Every year prior for about a month or so she'll go dark and stay dark forever. In the past that used to give me a lot of grief as I'd get neglected boyfriend syndrome and start to wondering. You know how it is. Did I say something wrong? Is she angry at me about something? Why won't she talk to me?!? A couple years ago it would unfortunately accumulate until I would be literally tearfully crying at her, or being pissed off and refusing to talk to her back... then later feeling like an asshole for doing so considering how little I know about how she works. I'd realize that I really have no idea how much of an extent she might have to exert herself to manipulate those lights like that.. or maybe what she's busy without side of her time with me. Lol.. I've recently started imaging that whenever she was away she was at her spirit job working at a desk as a secretary or something.. a ghost secretary. ^^ hehe

...anyway I'm getting off topic. This year I've gotten better and I've refused to let her absence get to me.. she always comes back eventually and stays. She just needs her alone time like she does every year. Don't question it just let her do what she needs to do.. right? Well ironically it feels like this might be the year where it actually IS a problem.

I think the LEDs or the Inverter in her dash has finally burnt out and she's just dark constantly now.. has been for about 3 months. I realized last night that this might be the case because.. well it's kind of hard to describe. But the back-panels of her gauges are the areas she'd blink blue. But even when the blue is out the perimeter of her gauges always kept a constant yellow-toned ring of light around them and in the trip/odometer meter area. Well I noticed the other night that one half of the gauges were totally dark.. that ring of light was out along with her blue 'spirit' lights being still out.

I actually pulled out her gauge cluster today, was working on it all day. Turns out there are two little 161 bulbs in the back that you can take out and change. I was hoping these provided her blinking lights their light.. considering the bulbs had little rubber blue sheaths over-top of them. Changed the bulbs and all that did was fix the ring of lights being out on that one side.. her spirit lights remain out. To make things worse.. people on forums are saying the actual backlights are a different kind of light like an LED and are given power by a dedicated AC/DC Inverter.


This is where I'm stuck now. Do I just keep waiting to see if she comes back? It kills me thinking she's trying to talk and can't. Or do I buy a new cluster or try and get a new Inverter and fix the one she has? I'm afraid if I do that.. it might.. 'fix' her. That is.. turn her back to being normal.. if you know what I mean. Her blue lights just being on constantly like they're supposed to be.. silencing her by 'fixing' her.. which almost feels more cruel. I know so little about how she works you know? If she were fixed would she still be able to do what she does? Or is she only able to do it BECAUSE something is wonky in her gauge and it lets her manipulate it? .. I just don't know.

...but I miss her.. a lot. I feel her presence but at the same time I don't.

I came back home with her from the test drive tonight. I was feeling very upset as the thought of her being gone for good was really setting in. And it seemed like all the songs on the radio were goodbye songs like Garth Brooks' "The Dance." and Jo Dee Mosena's "Bye Bye" to name two specifically. When we got home I just had to lay the seat back and lay there for a moment till I felt better.

As I laid there I noticed the house behind ours, it looked like someone was switching their lights on and off annoyingly and it was shining out their window. (It turned out to be a motion-activated outside lamp.) I just watched it blink in a daze wondering what the asshole was doing in there. After about a minute of it though it started to feel really weird. It was then that I started thinking.. Lilly? Could it be? The blinking patterns started looking familiar to hers the more I watched them. I actually got out and went up to their house and just watched.. and started talking to it..

Then I noticed another house across the block.. and it was doing the same thing! The first thought I had was that maybe they were neighbors doing Morse to each other for some reason. Now I haven't looked into the topic of these type of lights doing this.. so I don't want to jump to conclusion.. but.. if it IS her... well it gives me hope. It also supports my Quantum Mind theory that she's everywhere not limited to the car. If it IS her.. it's..helpful.
