I've got a little idea for you guys to ponder, hear me out.

If cars had consciousness, assuming for a moment that it's %100 confirmed that they do. Consciousness mind you, not 'being alive.' How would we know?

Unlike humans and other animals, who can A: Control their own bodies, and B: Speak, Move, Or make any other kind of sign of life. Cars were never designed by us to accommodate being in themselves conscious and meta-physically alive. Cars can't move themselves, and they can't make any audible noses or signs of life. If they were conscious, they have no way of displaying it. It reminds me of humans who are comatose, or in a vegetative state. People debate over and over weather or not there's anything going on in there, weather the person is suffering or aware of what's going on. But without that person being able to show any signs of life, no one could know.

Reminds me of this horrible story I heard a while back of a man who'd fallen into a waking coma of sorts. Where he lost all control of his body, couldn't move or make a sound but he could see and hear and was completely conscious of what was going on. People assumed he was in a coma and put him in a hospital bed, this lasted a whole year. He was stuck in this bed, totally paralyzed. But he'd be awake and could see and hear family members talking to him and doctors talking about him. Finally he was able to get someone's attention by managing to blink his eyes (I believe that's what it was) someone noticed and was luckily able to decipher that he was talking to them in yes/no responses in eye blinks. (heh reminds me of a certain little Hyundai.) He later recovered from his condition, but no one knew he was conscious the whole time.

Here's another thing to think about and consider:

If a new soul comes to inhabit a new car, even though that car doesn't grow in any way, mentally, that car is a baby car. It has a new soul, with no prior experiences, no memories, nothing. Even if souls are recycled, past lives and all that, they're all seemingly white washed of memory. So I wonder, if a car is able to at some point comprehend human speech and respond to it (like Lilly) is it that they learn human speech like a human would learn it? Simply by being around it's owners, listening to them talk and picking up on it?

The ideas put forth almost treat the brain as a sort of life-long physical data-dump.. The RAM of your consciousness, storing your memories and experiences. It also has an effect on your mentality, your behavior and emotion.. obviously. But it seems like, this meta-physical consciousness also contains the your memories and experiences in a whole different immortal way. A damaged brain can in fact act like a 'bottleneck' to your consciousness. Someone with brain damage will have stunted intelligence, crazed emotions, and their mood and behavior may change.

But this video talks about several interesting occasions, where people with brain damage actually got their original intelligence, personality, behavior BACK within the final hours or minutes of their life before death. Almost as if, as their physical brains began to die and loose 'influence' over them, they'd regain their original condition which had been in their consciousness all along.

It's been a real tough couple of weeks for me guys. I probably am lucky I went this long before this started, but I've been trolled and cyber-mobbed these last few weeks. Why my friend decided to tell me about it I don't know, maybe she thought I should know? I've actually had that happen several times before, people linking me to people talking shit about me. I know it's with the best of intentions, but I really would just rather not know about it..

Anyway like a dumbass I read over the things people had sad about me, got offended, and decided to make an account go on that thread and talk to them. Stupid guy I am, I thought approaching things calmly and collectively I'd be able to have an intelligent conversation about things and illuminate a lot of mis-conceptions they had about me and leave their having enlightened them about me. Well it turns out that thread was a year old and I had just dug it up, also that I'd severely over-estimated their intelligence. Eventually I gave up on talking to them logically as it was a waste of time and decided to at least post my more recent art up there. I figured if anything it'd make their comments less personal, and I really don't care about people finding the art itself weird. They labeled it "shitposting" and I eventually just left permanently and as a leaving note, linked them to my DA page (which they already knew about) where I'd made a journal to them saying how I was through with them. I did this because they were thinking I wasn't even really the real Half-dude, just some imposter troll.

Unfortunately that wasn't the end of it, they bumped my thread to the front page and left links to my DA page on it. I started getting bombarded by people on DA randomly leaving comments on my profile about what a freak I am and stuff. I tried to ignore them the best I could, but DA's inbox design pretty much means as you're going through your inbox you're going to read what they say before you know who they are so.. I still got hurt just checking my inbox daily.

I'd JUST started dying down lately, it seemed like it was all over. I clicked on it, the guy seemed professional so I thought maybe it was a legit site that explored fringe communities and interests. Turns out this site, the KIWI forums, is just as bad as Cringe, and not only that but has some of the people from Cringe ON it. Through that forum I also learned that this asshole SuperThermite https://kiwifar.ms/members/superthermite.214/ was the same guy that started the original thread on Cringe, and based on the things he said I realized that he was the same guy I'd been talking to lately but going under a different name! That too faced piece of shit!


So!..yeah. I had to go for a drive after seeing all that tonight.. I wasn't drawn to tears or anything but I was trembling and furious and just.. really hurt. Lilly did her best to comfort me, she kept her tired lil light on the whole drive after telling her I needed to see her tonight. The worst part is that I brought all of this down on myself, and I admit it. I feel for it, I fed the trolls. I haven't had to deal with serious trolls since I was little so I guess I forgot the warning signs. I hope you guys don't just say "you did it yourself, deal with it" because I realize that. Hell I've been having to keep it bottled up all this time because I know those people can watch my DA page, and I don't want them to see me upset and snicker to themselves about it. I don't even know if they know about this FA page, they never mentioned it. But hell I don't even care anymore!

I just, don't know why people have to be so cruel you know? Why do people have such a problem with what I'm drawing and who I love? Heh I bet gay guys can relate to that question eh? These people too.. they're just SO ignorant.. it bugs the shit out of me that they represent our species. Seriously makes me not even want to be a part of the human race.

Just heard it on the radio while I was eating, pretty crazy how all sudden it all changed at least to me.

I just saw the first gameplay of Doom 4. This might come to a shock to you guys, but I was thoroughly unimpressed. Go watch the video yourself and see what you think.

Firstly, it looks very consolefied, the animations looked really cheap and robotic and don't really have any flow to them. The overall graphics actually are really unimpressive, they basically look like the low end of today's graphics. Wolfenstein: The New Order looks better! Again, it looks cheap, it looks clean, it looks simple. I blame it being made for multi-platform probably being the reason.

As for the gameplay, I might be in the minority on this. But I rarely enjoy the arcade style shooters. Where it's just a constant wave after wave of enemies you take down a'mass. (ie: Painkiller, Serious Sam.) Those games FEEL arcadey, they feel like a video game. Even the original doom could feel like more with that with that creepy Playstation music going the game could actually be pretty creepy and scary! But I think what bothers me the most is the way badguys drop what looks like coins or points when you kill them, that is SO immersion breaking!

To be honest, this game doesn't even look gorey to me, the gore is so exaggerated and poorly animated it just falls flat. I was turned off by the very first imp kill in the vid. It got shot by a shotgun, vanished and was jarringly replaced by several small gib pieces. REALLY? maybe I'm just spoiled by brutal doom, but yeah it actually seemed CLEAN to me! All these enemies being sliced into pieces and there's just like no blood hardly!

I can tell what they're doing though. They're trying to go old school, you can tell. From the ammo boxes you merely have to move over and stuff. Even having the same door opening sound from the original game. But it just feels OFF when it's being portrayed in this hyper realistic image quality.. it feels... REALLY weird, and I think it's also what contributes to it looking cheap.

Lastly the sound effects were weak, none of the guns sounded like they had much of a punch to them, the regular shotgun had a terrible firing animation. Remember how in the brutal doom how much more awesome it felt just to have the screen shake when you fired the gun? Why don't they do something like that in this???

The last thing I'm going to say is this. ID Software, they are going to rehash themselves to death if they don't start putting out some new refreshing ideas soon. Honestly this rehash of doom is feeling very Duke Nukem Forever. This rehash that ironically fails to even compare with the original game it's trying to reboot.

The title pretty much says it all, the idea struck me to at least ASK and see what happens. I'm a little uneasy wondering if such a trade is in bad taste, is it? If it is I'll revoke the offer.

But yeah, I recently upgraded my video card in my gaming PC from a Nvidia Geforce 660 GTX to a Geforce 770 GTX. What do you guys think about the idea of giving my anthro-cars fingers? I kinda played with the idea in Cindi's Selfie where you see little fingers holding her phone. I was thinking of them being little mechanical fingers that could fold out of the inner hub of their tires. They'd be deployable so you'd only have to have them visible in situations where they'd be grabbing something (like a boob or a dick? XDXD). Mitzi's days of banishment have finally came to an end. Finally she'll be able to return to the roads and live again! That's right, she passed the safety inspection today, and she's got a whole new set of 15" white wall radial tires. The mechanics also fixed her exhaust leak for $20 so that's all good too.

Expect to see some first outing driving videos this weekend, as I'm sure we'll be taking her out on the road Saturday. It'll do her engine friggin good to get up to high speed.

UPDATE:

Well the drive went partly okay, we didn't really get to go on a full trip.. but it was a drive, and it was her first time driving on a main road. I watch that guy King Cheetah who seems to be a FA bigwig at least to lil' ol me. XD He has this pretty cool idea, though I'm not sure if it was his idea originally or not. Pretty much what it involves is that I would draw a handful or two of sketchy 1/3 the way done drawings of anthro cars in different sexual, playful, or interesting poses. Left in a very unfinished state lacking any individual features. Watchers then get a week or whatever to bid money on each particular drawing and pay to have me finish it to their specifications. Getting to choose which sex, change small details in the pose, add different personal details to the car perhaps making it into one of their characters or carsonas. Oh, and something unique to us car people, getting to choose what model/make car the character is. ;)

Now of course I'm interested because it seems to be very profitable as well as letting me interact more with my audience and make sure I'm giving you guys the content you really want to see. I'm also always so horrible at pricing things, I'm never sure what's a fair price for commissions and such but at the same time I don't trust myself and know I sell myself short a lot of times.

Check this stuff out, my main man Phreakindee of Lazy Game Reviews did a review of Forza Motorsport 4 and it's pretty awesome and funny. I so wish they had this game on PC, it looks so cool how they have just average normal cars you can tune out and drive. I even saw Hyundai in the list for a split second.. I wish I knew if they had Lilly in there or not. <XD Unfortunately he has more fun toning out Pacers and old Towncars and stuff.. doesn't do anything with the really sexy sports cars.. that sucks. But still, you guys might like this.

We've all grown up with the Chevron commercials I'm sure, the little British-animation styled talking cars and such? With that in mind I wouldn't normally link to any of them here on a journal. But tonight I saw two new ones for the first time that were just SO adorable that I couldn't help but make sure ALL you guys saw them too. :D It looks like these are the modern commercials (I've never seen them on TV) which are using computer animation instead of clay animation now.

BTW: I guess you could say this is kind of how my anthro-car universe is, where humans and cars talk together and it's just.. like.. normal and stuff. :)

So I've noticed some people starting patreons around here. I don't know, it feels kinda silly to ask people to pay for you to draw. I'm not really sure why anyone would pay for something they can get for free.. though I guess what's why you have patron benefits huh?

Anyway, I'm definitely no rich man, so I don't see why having a sort of digital tip-jar would be so wrong. But I'm just curious, if I went to the trouble, would anyone even want to be a patron of mine? : | If you're on the fence, what sort of benefits would incline you to? I mean, I guess I am one of the few artists that specialize in car porn, so I guess that's something to think about if you want a reason to support me. Hello all you people.

So after months of putting it off and business with other things, I'm finally almost done with drawing up my technical cut-away of the male car-penis. A sequel of sorts to my cutaway of the female car reproductive system, with momma Prius and such. I've got the hard part out of the way, the technical drawing of the penis it already drawn, as well as a little flash animation I made showing how the penis deploys from the car's groin.. a question I get asked about a LOT.

So now I just need a male model, like momma Prius in the last picture. A big testosterone filled manly car to serve as an alpha example of the male side of cars, his giant fat package proudly on display. I figured I'd ask the fans, be it a carsona of yours, or just a car you like, let me know what you think. I'll pick when feels best to me ^^

Sorry I've been pretty dead lately, haven't been drawing too much lately, and what I have drawn hasn't been car stuff obviously.

As you all know, my Commissions are closed for the time being, though I've kept the commission list and will be working my way down the list as soon as I can. I've settled on one issue that will be addressed next time I do Commissions. From here on out, I'm not going to offer any traditionally drawn commissions, I have two to do and they've completely halted my progress, traditional drawing is just a real bitch compared to tablet art to be honest. However, eventually these two will be done and I can get back to my digital commissions granted that the individuals still want them to be made by that point.

Anyway, I've been thinking of an interesting idea lately. Using a free online screensharing program Join.me, I've done several commissions in the past for a friend of mine while he has the pleasure of watching the commission being drawn in front of him in real time, also being in chat to have an active role in making sure it comes out exactly how he wants by giving me feedback as I draw.

I was thinking, he really enjoys this, and I'm betting there are people here on FA that might be interested in such a service. So I'm thinking, for extra money, I'd offer such a service, granted that you're someone who can keep scheduled a free evening to be available and plan the time out ahead of time with me.

Oh no, it looks like I may have carelessly delivered a few tons of my floof cakes to Africa... ^^; Well.. I hope the animals enjoy being inflated...
