My grandmother was still alive. That's so freaking awful to think about.

That house, those artworks... I'm not sure where they are. I've bounced between living in Florida and back to PA. I've been homeless (living in my car), gotten a job a Walmart, and am now working for the Philly airport. The more I think back on the days that have swept by and all the trauma.... it's no wonder I've bowed out of life online... and it sucks.

I'm older now. Truly a greymuzzle by age and life experiences (if not wisdom. I mean really.... >.> ) ugh. I need to get into a better situation.. but what even is that anymore? Looking back on the financial health of the US and how significantly it changed *just* in my life time.... it's no wonder I'm so emotionally f'd up.

I need to do something to change that. But what?

I've tried sooooo many things, and they either fail or something else gets in the way. I try to learn from that and... it seems I'm spiraling instead. I KNOW I'm not the only one suffering like this. I've talked with others. Many of the same stories are repeated. It's awful.

But art brings us together.... So I guess I'll upload some of my past stuff, as I don't have a lot of current stuff... :P Maybe that'll get me motivated again?

I don't know. I only have 1 day a week off that I have to put as much into as I can - including rest.... and chores... and other adulting stuff... and mental health care...... >.> That is until I pay off my 401k loan. Then I can seriously consider quitting the one job. I just need to determine what to do with that 401k.... >.>

I'm also doing more financial education stuff. I had an ahha moment recently in which I realized that so many of us, me included, were raised and taught by our social-level/social groups to be worker ants. Not Capitalists. We were taught HOW to make money, just HOW to be workers. o.O

I'm done. I need to get more stable, money wise, but I'm done.

Time to change, learn, grow, and share what I've learned. Because we won't get to a better place unless we grow and learn.

I keep thinking about that phrase. Loosing him only makes coming back here harder... less... happy. More empty.

Due to life paths twists and turns I've lost touch with the furry community in general.

Hopefully, this year will bring some deeply needed change. Personal change.

I miss the community but it feels so disorienting. So maybe I'll just start like I did before... eyes wide open, watchful, observant.


First things first- got to fix my links!.

Every country is different, with different laws and ways to apply those laws. However copyright is one of those sets of laws that are shared by the larger world, even if they are policed slightly differently.

I understand that Copyright is NOT taught in schools. Not like the general laws of the land might be... However it is not hard for someone to look it up. Even if Wikipedia isn't the best place for information ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright ), it is a good jumping off point.

Sure laws are BORING to read through with legal jargon that makes your head spin even AS a lawyer. However self-educating is very important.

That said it is exceptionally important for a creator of stuff (arts, crafts, robots, robots that create arts and crafts, whatever) to BE more educated and protect yourself. No one else is really going to do it for you, and when you get ripped off you have no one else to blame but your self.

However - it is ALSO for serious buyers to better educate themselves as well. Just because you get the physical work doesn't mean you get all the rights to it as well. Unless a work is very clearly stated as a "Work for Hire" (which is legal jargon), you get the final product and none of the rights to it. The sale of a piece of work does not give you rights to:

* to reproduce the copyrighted work
* to prepare derivative works based upon the work
* distribute copies of the work to the public
* perform the copyrighted work publicly
* display the copyrighted work publicly

These are protected by law across many many countries.

THAT said, contracts for any commission work HAVE to be done if you are going to seriously consider making money selling your work. This tells the buyer upfront what they are allowed to do, or what you are willing to give up. Verbal agreements hold very little water especially when it comes to PayPal's refund system. They often side with the buyer if the seller doesn't have the back up to defend themselves.

Some people don't realize that web pages are considered a form of publictaion by current internet copyright law. ( http://www.bitlaw.com/internet/webpage.html ). So even posting your commissioned art work to Imgr, Reddit, Facebook, your personal website, etc is illegal unless you have written permission to do so. Period.

So whining about how you were dupped isn't true. Being un-aware of the law does not make you immune to it.

GAH It's been a year plus some since I've logged back into here. SO much got left undone or left hanging.

I lost my dad, lost my home, got uprooted to Florida, had my head planted firmly up my butt due to depression getting the better of me.... I tried... and realized being in my sister's house technically (by FLorida's laws) "homeless", was not healthy for me or my kiddos. Got a job, and now have my own place and trying to put and keep my finances straight... while being a single mom..

YIKES!

I owe art, I owe paid commissions... and half of my supplies and half-finished/half-started work is lost somewhere between..... holy noodles batman. Naw.

I'm putting up refunds for those who want one. And I plan on finishing the art anyway (if and) when I find it.... ugh.... But life first. Sorry folks. I got two small kids looking to me, as their dad is not over 1500 miles north and in no place or shape to take them on weekends. ya know? This is a 24/7/365 gig here... but I have to art. I HAVE to create art. It keeps me sane and stable in ways I just cannot explain.

Not sure what I need to do or what.... But I'd love to get some advice / guidance. I want to start streaming again, but need a bit of help getting stuff to work.

I follow direction pretty well... but I think I set a setting wrong because the FFsplit program I've been trying to use wants to crash my computer and the stream quality is crappy....choppy... BLECH!!

And doing new work as well. Just trying to get the forward momentum going.

I've been playing waaaaaay too much Flightrising, because I can so easily loose myself in the community there as well as focusing on the basic needs of pixel-dragons... pretty pixel dragons....

I know I'm "hiding" from reality. Anytime some of it seeps in around my emotional wall, the anguish is too much for my mind and heart. It sucks too because if I just let it go and cry, that starts a chain reaction that has me gasping for breath (due to my asthma) and then vomitting because I can't breath.... and in turn gives me a massive pressure migraine.

I have done some "therapy art" but my scanner isn't hooked up as yet... so yeah.

Things went from bad to worse in a handful of days.

I had to be force-moved out of my home and left behind a LOT of my stuff, lost some stuff, have no idea where other stuff is......

And lost my dad to cancer.

I lost my home (I was living with my dad on the family farm), my dad, and a little bit of my sanity.

My family from Florida (my sister, cousin, niece) came up to get me and the kids.

So now... I'm a Floridian Fur. Looking for work, looking to get my feet under me. Looking for a bit of sanity. Maybe some art buddies?

I'm located now in Holiday, near Clearwater (south of New Port Richey).

Hey folks - I've been way absent lately due to forces outside of my control. Mostly.

I'm not going to go into a huge, emotional Sob-story, because I know everyone and their mother's sister's uncle's cousin may be having a rough time of it now. That's just the Nature of the world today. I'm just going to give you the facts, as plainly as possible. In return for your reading this, I'm hoping for a little bit of help. Whatever little bit I can get.


The doctors believe that my dad has cancer. He gets his biopsy today. I'm a daddy's little girl, so that said I'm sure you'll understand how much this effects me. He fell on Father's Day, got taken to the ER, admitted, and was kept until today. The doctor's explanation "we don't know where he's bleeding" is all I got from my step mom.

My dad's will is exact. -EVERYTHING- house and all, goes to my Step mom. However, he has no Executor. This means if he goes the Probate Office assigns one. My step-mom has emotional and mental issues. PTSD, and has Paranoid Hallucinations. She has made my home environment toxic. Verbally cussing at me for things I do not do, nor ever have done, in front of my kids. She has physically come after me more then once, and I've called the cops on her twice due to this.

So even if my dad CAN fight this thing - I need OUT. If he can't, I'm homeless. I have three options (two solid, one I'm working one getting more info).

a) Move to West Chester Area - stay with a friend for the summer, get my feet under me, get a job, fix my life that way.

b) Move to Florida with my family (Pensacola / Largo areas) - stay with family, get a job (there is one waiting for me), get my own place, get back on my feet, etc...

c) Move to someplace more local (this tba based on the Doctor's Prognosis) - Find a place that will take me, sort out my issues, get on my feet, etc....

If I take the help from my Aunt to get my car fixed, I'm going to Florida. Simple as that. If I take a chance with outside help (I hate asking... gawd), I have a bit more flexibility. What I need -right now- is the 400 for car repairs. That at least gets me my "wings" back.

But... and here's the part I HATE doing..... I need financial help (doesn't everyone? Right?).

Now my father has what the doctors claim as cancer. The biopsy will be done on Thursday and we should have more information by the weekend, or at least that next Monday.

I may have to suddenly move, and do not have the money to do so.

Or I may have to seek legal action to be the caretaker of my father until he passes.

Or..... Goodness only knows.


If folks want to help me monetarily I won't say no. However, all I want is for my daddy to be ok. I want the hurting to stop. I want peace of mind and soul.

I clicked alternate socket, and even switched back and forth. The only game that works in Higher/Lower. I cannot get Coli to run either. They stop loading at about the 95% marker.

I am working on a fem-boi Al Teke (this is a double challenge for me) and got to thinking about my personal limitations.

As an art student the human body is not a thing of sexual imagery. It is, when the subject of art focus, a beautiful thing. Even the most ugly has certain qualities to it in terms of drawing, sculpting or painting, that I appreciate as art. Even so I have difficulties drawing the gender bits, and only recently have been able to get past some of the taboo walls I have over breasts.

I thought about this for a while. Why are these limitations present? I can appreciate them when another artist draws, paints, or sculpts them - especially if the anatomy is well rendered in it's proper form (or in the case of hybrid anatomy for anthros, creatively in a believable way). But why do I have these walls?

Well the first and most obvious answer is - porn is (imo) an objectification of the human body merely for pleasure's sake, and the sake of "getting off". The same goes for anthro-animal, or animal porn. Unless one is trying to make some kind of "statement", either political, social, etc. So that bothers me on one level, and is a factor as to why I can't/won't draw it as a subject matter.

The second is a bit weird for me. I more often don't seem bothered by other's opinions (unless they are slanderous lies - or based on a misconception). I'm tougher then that. However when it comes to my art, I get touchy. I know art is subjective, but being labeled a porn-artist or such bothers me. So I try to avoid it, even if this means I don't get to draw creatively, politically, or other such ways.

So as I am drawing up the single pose (maybe double pose) Al Teke, I realize that fembois as a body type are fun - however they are inherently sexual due to their specific fetish objectification. So, I am at a loss.

Do I draw the sheath and testicles, as they are not inherently sexual, especially drawn on a neutral pose (ref style) and not in a sexual show (erect) - or do I leave them out (toon naked) on a not-quite toony character?

That got me to thinking more (I do this a lot late at night when I'm exhausted!) - // What // exactly is considered "adult"? Peeing on cars can be an offense or a sexual turn on, for goodness sake, for example.

Art is subjective depending on the viewer.... Sure. But when does a piece of artwork go from "no sexual intent" to "sexual intent"? What's the line?

Well I just discovered Paw Day. It has an interesting history and I think I may join in the creation of Paw Day images.

However, I don't like stepping on the... toes (heh) of other artists. So before I post -my- offers (because I enjoy drawing feet. They are a challenge that I've gotten better at over the years!) I'm going to spread the word about the artist that introduced me to the whole concept.

This artist, DarkwolfUntamed is also a member of the FB group FurReal (of which I help oversee). They are in need of funds, and is hosting a sale on Paw Day icons. The offer also allows for "props" like feathers (tickle those toes!) a pokeball (gotta catch-em all!), adult-props ( >.> ) and more.

Now that said, I think I will offer the same sort of idea - but with a twist. I'm going to animated mine, no props though (that's a bit too much). A simple cycle seems easy right? Well feet are funny things and move differently. This is going to be a challenge.

Note about watchers - it's begun. I spotted a rise yesterday to 280, and some where along the line I lost 6 watchers. The loss wasn't as -bad- as I thought it might be, but I'm sure there may be more who will click the 'unwatch button'. It just shows who was in the raffles just for the prizes.

A new camera? My Aunt bought me a nice little Nikon digital palm-held camera. It was to grab pictures for my son and daughter for their grammie (my mom). Holy sweet hopped-up crazy! Its so far has been impressing me. I'm going to see how well it does streaming... AND it's wifi capable?!?!?!?!

If it works well enough, I now have no reason NOT to start doing more tutorial videos! I think I'l do some feet and hands tutorials!! :) muahaha. *coughs* Anywho... >.> Yeah.

I live on a small-acreage farm. (Maybe 50 acres) Yesterday the Turkey Buzzards were swarming and I watched as they picked something off the road and started eating it.

I watched it with mild interest. My dad was also mildly interested when I told him and my step mom about it. My step mom acted like it was the most horrible thing ever. So did my dad's visiting nurse. It was such an odd juxtaposition.... the reactions were so vastly different.

It's just a reminder that not everyone can handle all the things life throws at us. And everyone has a different perspective on what is right or wrong.

So, to all my Watchers, both long-timers and newbies: A note about me, the kinds of art and themes I drawm and my personal boundaries.

I'm a trained animator (*sighs*) BS in Computer Animation and no job. :P I'm still upset at Disney for that hiccup - I'l get over it eventually. ;) I also have a range of experiences in in webdesign and education. I don't have the equipment to make good video tutorials right now (working on that), but I am willing to teach what I know. So you may see links or such to my youtube channel with semi-eh videos on various topics.

I'm an admin to several furry-related Facebook groups. I enjoy supporting the community in small ways that I am able, however being a mom of two small kids, my tolerance for "Stupid levels of stupid" or general immaturity is limited. Most of that tolerance goes to my kids. ;) ;) Heh.

I generally consider myself a "clean artist". My "sexual" offerings are pretty much non-existent. I may offer sensual, or suggestive, but that's about far as I go. This kind of reflects my personal opinion that those sorts of topics are best left to privacy. Ya know? *see more below*

I'm also a fan of horror, terror, monsters, aliens, sci-fi, high-fantasy, gaming (tt, larp, mmos, card games), and more. So my subjects and themes may range all over the place. I am a bit of a nerd too. I love research, the environment, and stuff like that. :)

However, I also know that there is a lot themes and subject matters out there that people consider "fetish" that I consider "not fetish" (in regards to personal interests). This is a personal difference and not a delusional thought process. I've worked in the pron industry doing web banners and web design before. OH YES the things I know and can never erase from my brain are many, in terms of what I KNOW is a fetish...... It's mind-boggling.

Being a college grad with live nude models classes - being nude isn't even a turn on for me anymore. ^.^ Nude is beautiful, artistic, amazing - but not sexual (not for me).

However, to me, things like feet, pregnancy, violence, food, vore (eating of things), etc.... they are NOT turn-on's. I'm a pretty vanilla person, as it were. So if I draw it, it's due to a purely vanilla interest.

I tend to rate my more "extreme" art at the PG-13 level. If you see me posting something attacking or eating something else, it's likely due to vent art rather then any adult interest as it were.

So I got some work done (more still to go) and thought of something new and cute that might be fun to do for others. :)

Once I get approvals from the owners of said characters I'll get those finished, asap.

Also, got out to McD's and their toys are SKYLANDERS, with a coupon. So far I have two Coupons ($10 OFF) for Skylander's Swap Force good ONLY for the starter pack (in the USA). I don't need these.
